Um eine einfache Montage der in Kunststoffkäfigen gehalterten Motoren in dem Träger zu gewährleisten sind für die Verbindung von Kunststoffkäfig und Trägern häufig Rastverbindungen vorgesehen. Dabei rastet der im Kunststoffkäfig gehalterte Motor beim Einführen in den Träger von innen in dafür vorgesehene Ausnehmungen am Träger ein. Die Träger sind üblicherweise beidseitig des Motors angeordnet und aus Kostengründen häufig ebenfalls aus Kunststoff hergestellt.
