Definitions
- the invention is directed to a lid, in particular for a food packaging, such.
- a lid in particular for a food packaging, such.
- a yogurt cup or the like or a label, in particular a bottle neck label, comprising an embossed aluminum foil, embossed aluminum composite film, plastic film, plastic composite film, paper foil or paper composite film.
- Known embossed films of this type have the advantage that the individual film sections or covers, if they are processed starting from a stack, are easily separable, that is to say the top cover in each case can be reliably removed from the stack.
- embossed films A disadvantage of such embossed films continues to be that the embossing impairs the printed image of an imprint provided on the top of the cover and, in particular, small, filigree fonts or representations can only be perceived to a limited extent.
- the reflection behavior of such known embossed films is limited because the reflection is diffuse and non-directional.
- the EP 1 340 694 A2 describes a substantially unembossed lid, on the inside of which spacer spacing naps are printed on to facilitate the separation.
- a lid for a food package according to the preamble of claim 1 is described.
- This cover consists of a film material, which has an embossing in the form of a broken in the longitudinal direction grain for mechanical stiffening. Due to the intended stiffening effect the width, depth and height of this embossing are relatively strong.
- the present invention seeks to provide a lid, or a label, in particular a bottle neck label, with an attractive surface, which allows printing with small fonts and representations and has an advantageous reflection behavior. Moiree effects should be avoided. Furthermore, an effective separation is to be made possible.
- This object is achieved in that the depth of the embossing lines 0 to 40 microns, preferably about 30 microns, and the width of the embossing lines 100 to 300 microns, preferably about 200 microns.
- Width here is understood to mean the dimension which extends in the plane defined by the cover. This design prevents the lid from getting caught in the stack. So it is achieved a good separability. In addition, a very uniform surface image is obtained, the fonts are easy to read, the surface has no visible creases such. B. a smooth film and that Reflection behavior is almost as good as that of a film with a smooth surface.
- good readability is also achieved for fine scripts or EAN codes, a matt / gloss effect at the same time good readability as a smooth board allows and better representation of printed images achieved, the matte / gloss effect by the Embossment can be influenced.
- the interruptions may be arranged relative to each other to form an image, but at different locations of the lid. It is provided that the interruptions are arranged irregularly. This embodiment prevents the embossing lines of adjacent lids from being able to engage in one another in a stack and thus the lids catching one another.
- each stamping line has a constant width.
- the embossing is particularly even here.
- At least one embossing line may also have two or more different widths and / or embossing depths.
- the stamping lines are formed with respect to their width inconsistent. This irregularity again prevents particularly well that lids in a stack can get caught in each other.
- the embossed lines may have lateral bulges, in addition to interruptions or depth changes, if necessary. There is also the possibility that the remaining between the embossing lines increases in themselves are formed unevenly, z. B. flattening or the like.
- embossment preferably used is a Riefengargung, in the z. B. uniform depressions are introduced at certain intervals. The appearance of dull or glossy is achieved by an additional mechanical processing in which the lines are treated with a tool so that a deformation occurs. The reshaped parts get more shine. This gives the design a distinctive visual character.
- the embodiment of the invention also allows a print with fine fonts on the inside of the cover, which is just as well legible due to the embossing of the invention as the pressure described on the outside.
- the stamping lines are arranged at irregular intervals.
- the in FIG. 1 illustrated yogurt cup lid 1 is made of a film. It has a thickness of 38 microns.
- the lid 1 is made by punching. On its top is a print, while on its underside a heat-seal coating is provided.
- the embossing is formed by stamping lines 2, which run parallel to each other and have constant distances from each other.
- the stamping lines 2 have a width of 200 microns. There are 25 embossing lines 2 per cm. Some of the stamping lines 2 are interrupted by interruptions 3. By means of these emboss-free sections, virtually protruding spacers are created which reliably prevent a hooking of individual covers 1 in a stack.
- the interruptions 3 can also extend over several stamping lines 2. They can be circular, for example. The diameter of the interruptions 3 is then about 1 mm. How out FIG. 1 it can be seen, the interruptions 3 are irregular on the lid 1 arranged The embossing thus has an irregularity. There is therefore no specific pattern.
- a Haschur of 25 L / cm can be used.
- the stamping lines are parallel to each other.
- the web width is 100 ⁇ m (top) and the channel width 100 ⁇ m (bottom).
- the web distance is 200 ⁇ m.
- the total thickness with embossing is 60 to 90 microns with a not according to the invention embossing depth of about 50 microns.
- the breaks are formed differently in shape. So there are different spacers based on the shape.
- the embossed lines have 2 different widths.
- Each stamping lines 2 is formed with a constant, ie constant width.
- the non-inventive width of the embossing lines 2 ranges from 0.02 mm to 0.06 mm.
- the distance between the individual stamping lines 2 to each other here is uneven. However, identical distances between the individual stamping lines 2 can also be present.
- the embossing also shows an irregularity here. This irregularity is achieved by the distance of the stamping lines 2 from each other and / or by their different width.
- stamping line 2 formed with a constant width.
- the width of a stamping line 2 changes over its course. The width can increase or decrease evenly or suddenly.
- the embossed lines 2 may have an identical width.
- stamping lines 2 with a constant width can also be provided here.
- the imprint has an irregularity. This irregularity is achieved by the distance of the stamping lines 2 from each other and / or by their changing width.
- a yoghurt cup lid may, for example, also embossing lines with different width, which are also still interrupted.
- stamping lines 2 and the interruptions 3 are not shown in the figures in the real dimensional relationship to each other or to the lid dimension.

Abstract
Description
The invention is directed to a lid, in particular for a food packaging, such. As a yogurt cup or the like, or a label, in particular a bottle neck label, comprising an embossed aluminum foil, embossed aluminum composite film, plastic film, plastic composite film, paper foil or paper composite film.
Known embossed films of this type have the advantage that the individual film sections or covers, if they are processed starting from a stack, are easily separable, that is to say the top cover in each case can be reliably removed from the stack.
A disadvantage of such embossed films continues to be that the embossing impairs the printed image of an imprint provided on the top of the cover and, in particular, small, filigree fonts or representations can only be perceived to a limited extent. In addition, the reflection behavior of such known embossed films is limited because the reflection is diffuse and non-directional.

Proceeding from this, the present invention seeks to provide a lid, or a label, in particular a bottle neck label, with an attractive surface, which allows printing with small fonts and representations and has an advantageous reflection behavior. Moiree effects should be avoided. Furthermore, an effective separation is to be made possible.
This object is achieved in that the depth of the embossing lines 0 to 40 microns, preferably about 30 microns, and the width of the embossing lines 100 to 300 microns, preferably about 200 microns.
Width here is understood to mean the dimension which extends in the plane defined by the cover.
- Known embossed boards, z. B. with a Würmchenprägung, have the disadvantage of poor readability of characters, have a restless look, z. As in photographic representations, and the EAN codes are not easy to read.
Although prior art smooth boards are well legible, but require an additional paint job to achieve the required surface roughness in the form of spacers, thereby incurring additional costs. In addition, the visual appearance does not stand up to strict requirements, as such boards are less stable and after casting on the cups light waves or show dents, which is not seen on embossed boards.
On the other hand, according to the invention, good readability is also achieved for fine scripts or EAN codes, a matt / gloss effect at the same time good readability as a smooth board allows and better representation of printed images achieved, the matte / gloss effect by the Embossment can be influenced.
The interruptions may be arranged relative to each other to form an image, but at different locations of the lid. It is provided that the interruptions are arranged irregularly. This embodiment prevents the embossing lines of adjacent lids from being able to engage in one another in a stack and thus the lids catching one another.
According to an advantageous embodiment, each stamping line has a constant width. The embossing is particularly even here.
However, at least one embossing line may also have two or more different widths and / or embossing depths.
Preferably, the stamping lines are formed with respect to their width inconsistent. This irregularity again prevents particularly well that lids in a stack can get caught in each other.
These irregularities can be designed very differently. For example, the embossed lines may have lateral bulges, in addition to interruptions or depth changes, if necessary. There is also the possibility that the remaining between the embossing lines increases in themselves are formed unevenly, z. B. flattening or the like.
In the embossment preferably used is a Riefenprägung, in the z. B. uniform depressions are introduced at certain intervals. The appearance of dull or glossy is achieved by an additional mechanical processing in which the lines are treated with a tool so that a deformation occurs. The reshaped parts get more shine. This gives the design a distinctive visual character.
The embodiment of the invention also allows a print with fine fonts on the inside of the cover, which is just as well legible due to the embossing of the invention as the pressure described on the outside.
Alternatively, it can also be provided that the stamping lines are arranged at irregular intervals.
