Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un système de télécommunication permettant une distribution régulée de messages courts (SM short message) dans un réseau de télécommunication mobile (PLMN) qui assure le transfert des messages courts (SM) conformément à un service de messages courts (SMS) mis en oeuvre. Conformément à la présente invention, les instructions reçues d'un abonné pour la gestion de messages courts (SM) sont stockées dans une base de données (I-BASE) d'une entité du réseau (P-SC, P-MSC). Par la suite, pour un message court (SM) contenant des informations d'identification des parties émettrice et réceptrice, une consultation est effectuée dans ladite base de données (I-BASE) au moyen d'au moins une des informations d'identification de la partie émettrice ou réceptrice du message court émis ou reçu (SM) dans le but de déterminer si la partie émettrice ou réceptrice a fourni des instructions permettant une gestion ultérieure du message court (SM) qui, si elles sont disponibles, sont exécutées de préférence par l'entité du réseau (P-SC, P-SMC) qui comprend la base de données (I-BASE). Ainsi, la présente invention permet à un abonné de réguler de manière souple la gestion, le flux et le contenu des messages courts (SM) qu'il envoie ou qui sont dirigés vers sa station mobile (MS). L'abonné peut rediriger, copier ou distribuer des messages courts (SM) ou répondre automatiquement à des messages courts (SM) en accord avec les instructions qu'il a stockées dans la base de données (I-BASE).
