Description

The invention relates to a device for attaching a bracelet to a watch, as well as the watch and the corresponding bracelet, particularly suitable for the friendly and fast exchange of the bracelet. More generally, the device of the invention relates to any valuable object of the watch, jewel, compass or other type, requiring a reliable, comfortable and aesthetic attachment, through a bracelet, necklace or any other means, that we will call "bracelet" afterwards for the sake of clarity.

The document CH662033 discloses a first connection solution of a bracelet with a watch which rests on a binding clip positioned on each side of the watch and on a bracelet each of which has a loop on one end. This loop is inserted into the clip of the watch. The advantage of this solution is its simplicity and speed of use. A first disadvantage is that it requires the addition of these two fastening clips on the watch, which significantly changes the aesthetics and can not adapt to any type of watch. A second disadvantage of this solution comes from the fact that the bracelet is not completely fixed on the watch. This solution does not guarantee that the watch will not accidentally detach from the bracelet.

The document FR2732786 discloses another solution for fixing a bracelet on a watch which is based on a bracelet having a loop at its end, to be traversed by a cylindrical bar which is housed in a location at the end of the watch. This solution and many variants of the prior art have the disadvantage of requiring a bar between the bracelet and the watch, which may be misplaced during assembly and disassembly of the bracelet. Moreover, in the solution described in this patent, the bar is simply arranged in a housing by interlocking and may accidentally release. To overcome this drawback, other variants are based on similar threaded bars whose attachment to the watch is achieved by screwing. However, they have the disadvantage of being complex because they require a tool, and no longer allow the easy and friendly exchange of the bracelet.

The document WO0057250 finally describes a third solution of the prior art which describes a watch with interchangeable elements, allowing the assembly of a housing, a bezel and a bracelet using an intermediate element. This element is not dedicated solely to fixing the bracelet on the watch. It occupies a large footprint on the circumference of the watch and is not suitable for all watches or all aesthetics. In addition, the closure means of the assembly is complex and unreliable since it requires the sliding of elements in grooves, which presents a risk of jamming with wear.

Finally, the document CH343944 describes a detachable connection solution of a bracelet on a watch case via hinges provided with a hooking device. This solution is bulky and imposes a particular aesthetic of the watch.

There is therefore a need for another solution for fixing a bracelet on a watch, which does not have the above disadvantages.

Therefore, a first object of the present invention is a reliable and user-friendly device for fixing a bracelet on a watch, allowing the interchangeability of the bracelets thanks to its simplicity of operation.

A second object of the present invention consists in a device for attaching a bracelet to a compact, aesthetic watch that is compatible with all types of watches.

A third object of the present invention is a device for fixing a bracelet on an inexpensive watch.

According to the concept of the invention, the fixing device rests on a door comprising a housing for a bracelet, this door being simply actuated by a discrete control device and easy to implement and by an intermediate rocker which can occupy a position stable said closure corresponding to the closed position of the door.

The invention is more precisely defined by the claims.

  • la figure 5 représente une première vue en coupe de la montre selon un mode d'exécution de la présente invention ;
These objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be set forth in detail in the following description of a particular embodiment made in a non-limiting manner in relation to the appended figures among which:
  • The figure 1 represents a perspective view of a watch and its bracelet according to an embodiment of the present invention;
  • the figure 2a represents a sectional view of the previous watch and bracelet;
  • the figure 2b represents an enlarged view of the previous section at the level of the binding between the bracelet and the watch;

  • the figure 5 represents a first sectional view of the watch according to an embodiment of the present invention;
  • the figure 6 represents a second sectional view of the watch according to an embodiment of the present invention.

According to an embodiment of the invention, a watch 1 is connected to a bracelet 3 by a fixing device 2. The latter rests on a door 4 hinged about an axis 5, defining a housing 6 in which is placed a bar 7 arranged in a fixed manner at the end of the bracelet 3. This door 4 is in contact with a rocker 8, of substantially triangular shape with rounded corners, an angle of which has a hook-shaped portion 9 cooperating with a slot 10 of the door 4 and prevents its rotation and its opening. The rocker 8 comprises another rounded upper angle 11, in contact with a portion 12 of the watch on which is mounted the door 4 in rotation about the axis 5, which serves as the axis of rotation of the rocker. Finally, the rocker comprises a third rounded rear angle 13 in contact with a control device 14 of the rocker. The detailed operation of this mechanism will be described later.

As illustrated on the Figures 3a and 3b this fixing device is disposed at the ends of the watch 1, the door 4 extending slightly in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the long sides of the rectangular frame of the watch. It is placed on the underside of the watch, and its control device which is in the form of a button elongated in a transverse direction. Such an arrangement makes it possible to favor the aesthetics of the upper face of the watch and to place the elements of the mechanism in a discrete manner on the lower face. It also prevents the involuntary operation of this mechanism.

As is more particularly illustrated on the figure 4 the watch 1 comprises a conventional stack of a dial, windows and seals, a bezel on a base 30. The upper middle part 31 comprises a support extension 12 on each side, intended for mounting the door 4 on an axis rotation 5 of the strap fastening device and the base 30 comprises lateral locations in which the other elements of this device are superimposed.

  • Un dispositif de commande 14, qui comprend deux ouvertures oblongues 17 s'étendant verticalement permettant sa liaison mobile avec l'embase 30 par deux vis 19 traversant ces ouvertures 17 et se logeant dans deux parties filetées 18 de l'embase 30. Le dispositif de commande 14 comprend de plus une ouverture centrale 20 dans laquelle se positionne la partie protubérante arrière 13 de la bascule 8 ;
  • une bascule 8, qui est montée en rotation autour d'un axe 15, correspondant sensiblement à son angle arrondi supérieur 11 mentionné précédemment, positionné dans un logement 16 de l'embase 30 de la montre ;
This superposition of elements therefore comprises in order the following elements:
  • A control device 14, which comprises two oblong openings 17 extending vertically allowing its movable connection with the base 30 by two screws 19 passing through these openings 17 and housed in two threaded portions 18 of the base 30. The device control 14 further comprises a central opening 20 in which is positioned the rear protruding portion 13 of the flip-flop 8;
  • a latch 8, which is rotatably mounted about an axis 15, corresponding substantially to its upper rounded angle 11 mentioned above, positioned in a housing 16 of the base 30 of the watch;
  • two small flexible rods 21 which are housed in two openings in front of the rocker, above the hook portion 9 of the rocker. This part 9 cooperates with the slot or groove 10 of the edge of the door 4 while the rods 21 cooperate with the upper surface of the door 4.

Le fonctionnement de ce dispositif de fixation interchangeable 2 du bracelet 3 sur la montre 1 va maintenant être décrit en référence aux figures 5 et 6.The operation of this interchangeable fixing device 2 of the bracelet 3 on the watch 1 will now be described with reference to the Figures 5 and 6 .

The figure 5 represents a longitudinal section of the watch, that is to say in the direction of the bracelet and the long side of the rectangular frame, by a plane passing through the watch in the center of the fastening screws 19 of the control device 14 of each lateral attachment device . The figure 6 is a longitudinal section through another plane parallel to the previous, passing in the middle of the latches 8 on each side of the watch. In these two figures, the left fixing device 2a is in the open position while the right fixing device 2b is illustrated in the closed position.

The rocker 8, of substantially triangular shape, therefore comprises a rounded upper angle 11, which corresponds to the axis of rotation 15 of the rocker relative to the watch, a lower rear end 13 which cooperates with the control knob 14 and a front lower end 9 which cooperates with the door 4.

In the closed position, the upper end of the axis 15 of the rocker 8 rests on the support portion 12 of the watch, its end 13 is in its lowest position, as is the control device 14 which is linked to it, and its end 9 is in its highest position, keeping the door 4 by its hook housed in its groove 10 of its edge in its closed position. The control device 14 thus occupies its lowest position, the screw 19 being supported on the upper face of its vertical oblong opening 17. This closed position is a stable position. Indeed, in this position, the moment exerted by the weight of the door 4 on the rocker at the hook 9 is almost zero because very close to the axis of rotation 15 and the shape of the latch 8, in particular by its upper rounded part 11 and the distribution of its mass, defines a stable position of closure of the rocker and imposes a certain force to obtain its rotation.

The passage to the open position is achieved by actuating the control button 14 upwards which causes its displacement due to the vertical extent of its oblong opening 17 and the space 22 provided within the base 30. This upward movement of the control device 14 is possible until the lower face of its oblong opening 17 comes into contact with the screw 19. This displacement transmits a force on the end 13 of the rocker 8, which induces its rotation about its axis 15, causing a downward rotation of the hook 9. The shape of the rocker is provided so that the high position of the control device 14 allows the hook 9 of the latch 8 to leave the groove 10 of the door 4 and release it. At the same time, the rod 21 bears on the upper surface of the door 4 causes its downward rotation and its opening, allowing its manual entry to continue its opening movement to reach the housing 6 to remove and / or position the rod 7 of a bracelet.

The closing of the door 4 is achieved by manually operating the door and pressing it upwards. This pressure causes support of the door 4 on the rods 21, which induces a rotation of the rocker 8 in the closing direction, causing at the same time a downward movement of the control device 14. The shape of the rounded portion upper 11 of the flip-flop 8 is such that the force required to close the door 4 is relatively small. However, to achieve complete closure, the end of the door movement requires a greater force that causes a sudden rotation of the rocker to its closing equilibrium position, accompanied by a slight click sound that indicates to the user that the door has closed tightly.

This device has been illustrated by way of example using a device based on a door which is mounted on an extension 12 of the watch 1. However, a similar device could be fully integrated into the volume of the watch. , the axis 5 is lodged towards one end of the watch. Thus, this solution adapts to several forms of watches, round for example, and can adapt to various aesthetic aspects sought.

The control device has been placed on the underside of the watch and almost does not overlap this surface, which has the advantage of making it invisible and neutral with respect to the usual aesthetics of the watch, while avoiding its accidental actuation. However, this concept of the invention could be used by placing this device on the upper face.

Similarly, the door could open in a different direction than that illustrated by way of example and the latch could have a different shape implementing the same function.

Finally, the fixing device described relates to the attachment of a bracelet with a watch. In the embodiment described, it is entirely arranged on the watch, the bracelet being content with a bar for implementing the binding according to the invention. However, alternatively, all or part of the fixing functions implemented can be placed at the end of the bracelet, and no longer on the watch.
