The unit provides access to a detected person upon valid reading of an access authorization of the detected person by one of the readers. The unit blocks the access to the person upon invalid reading of access authorization by one of the readers.

Description

The invention relates to an access control device according to the preamble of claim 1. Such access control device is known from AT-U-6665. As a blocking element is a rotary star with a tilted against the horizontal axis of rotation and two an angle of about 120 ° or 240 ° enclosing locking arms used as it is known from EP-A 961005.

The blocking arm releases the access in its basic position. If, on the other hand, a person is detected without a valid read of the access authorization, the barrier arm is rotated into the accessway to block it.

So that the blocking arm can be pivoted from the basic or "open gate" position into the blocking position before a detected person reaches the turnstile without a valid read of the access authorization, the access authorization reader and the personal sensor must be arranged with a correspondingly large distance in front of the turnstile. Thus, a person who has passed the access authorization reader without access authorization, put in front of the then blocking access blocking barrier and wait until the access is released by a subsequent other person with valid access authorization. Since the release signal triggered by the other person has been used to open the lock for the person without access authorization, the access for the further person with valid access authorization blocked. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that it occurs not only in persons without access authorization, but more often by the fact that a valid access authorization can not be read, for example, because in the reading of non-contact RFID transponders, the transponder z. B. is electromagnetically shielded by any objects in a pocket of the person.

Out US 6,617,960 B1 is an access control device for two access tracks with a control device in the middle, which has on both sides a rotating star with two 180 ° offset locking arms, and two non-contact access authorization readers on the outer sides known.

The object of the invention is to provide an access control device referred to in the preamble of claim 1 way, with which it is ensured that although persons with a valid reading of an access authorization can pass the lock, but not persons with invalid reading.

This is inventively achieved with the access control device according to claim 1. In the subclaims advantageous embodiments of the invention are shown.

After the first access authorization reader, a second access authorization reader is provided in the passage direction. The second access authorization reader is located in a region of the blocking element in which a valid access authorization of a person standing in front of the blocking element, who has already passed the personal sensor, can be read by the second access authorization reader.

The control of the actuator that moves the blocking element is z. B. designed so that in the normal case, ie at valid reading of an access authorization with the first access authorization reader of the first access authorization reader controls the actuator so that access is enabled ("open gate" operation).

If in "open gate" operation, however, a person is detected with the personal sensor without a valid access authorization being read with the first access authorization reader, access is blocked with the blocking element and the actuator is actuated by the second access authorization reader instead of by the first access authorization reader , which is provided in the area of the blocking element.

If then a valid reading of the access authorization is performed by the second access authorization reader, the access is released by the blocking element and the actuator is actuated again by the first access authorization reader instead of the second access authorization reader.

If no valid access authorization is also read on the second access authorization reader, access for the detected person without valid reading remains blocked for the first and second access authorization readers. You can leave the access with it only in the opposite direction or can be removed with the help of the control personnel, z. B. by a hand release of the control personnel.

The actuator is preferably a motor, in particular an electric motor. However, he can z. B. by an electromagnet, one by a pressure medium, for. B. compressed air operable piston / cylinder unit or the like may be formed.

The access control device according to the invention may be designed as a turnstile, for example with a rotary star as a blocking element. The rotary star preferably has only one or two locking arms. The locking member may reject a, for example, about 35 ° to the horizontal inclined axis of rotation with a single barrier arm or with two an angle of about 120 or 240 enclosing barrier arms, as from WO 97/18379 or from EP-A-961005 known, or a vertical axis of rotation with one or two locking arms according to WO 97/18379 ,

According to the invention, the release and blocking of the access is not only mechanical but also a logical process. Thus, the blocking element z. B. also be formed by an optical and / or acoustic signal generator, for example, a green light for the release and a red indicating the blocking.

Invalid reading of an access authorization is to be understood not only as the case in which the controlled person does not have access authorization, but also in the case where a valid access authorization exists but is not recorded by the access authorization reader.

The two access authorization readers are preferably formed by non-contact readers, in particular for the reading of RFID transponders with access authorization stored thereon. The access authorization may also be a reference code for a stored in a database, retrievable by the control device access authorization. To capture the entire width of the access track, the first and / or the second access authorization reader may each have an antenna on both sides of the access track.

In the area of the blocking element, an access authorization reader can additionally be provided in order to provide a blocked access, for B. with a magnetic, barcode or the like ticket to be inserted into the access authorization reader.

While in some applications, such as a ski lift, the access control device generally has to be passable only in one direction, access control devices to a delimited area are often passable in both directions. In the latter case, a first access authorization reader is preferably provided on both sides of the second access authorization reader, that is to say a reader which detects the person to be checked in one or the other passage direction before reaching the second access authorization reader in the area of the blocking element.

The personal sensor can be designed, for example, as an optoelectronic sensor. Preferably, at least two personal sensors are provided in front of the blocking element. As a result, on the one hand, the risk of a faulty signal, for example, by objects such as ski poles prevented, on the other hand, that two persons nestled against each other with only one access authorization pass through the access control device.

Furthermore, a personal sensor is preferably provided after the blocking element. With this person sensor is For example, detects a person who can not move through a traffic jam after the access control device. The blocking element can then be held in the blocking position until the person sensor after the blocking element no longer detects a person lingering over a certain period of time.

Another person sensor may be provided in the region of the blocking element. In a rotating star as a blocking element of this person sensor can detect a person in the locking plane of the locking arm and, if appropriate, trigger a rotation (push) of the person through the rotary arm.

The one or at least two person sensors in front of the blocking element, the person sensor in the area of the blocking element and the person sensor after the blocking element can have different scanning characteristics and / or include a different scanning angle with the direction of access. That is, they can have a narrow or wide scan lobe. So z. B. the person sensor in front of the blocking element have a narrow Abtastkeule to achieve the longest possible Passierzeit the detected person to the blocking element.

The motor can be controlled to drive the blocking element in both directions. This can z. B. prevents a person who is detected by the person sensor after the blocking element, because it lingers there, learns a blow through the locking element from behind. It can also be taken into account in both directions by the passage of the access control device, wherein in the preferred direction of rotation the blocking arm is moved counter to the passage direction.

The actuator can be controlled in such a way that the blocking element is in the normal position in the release position moved out of the access track, ie has cleared the access before reading the access authorization with the first access authorization reader ("open gate" position).

However, when access is enabled in the normal position, there is a risk that the persons to be controlled may be encouraged to pass the access control device at high speed, for example, by driving a skier at high speed into the access control device at a ski lift.

If no valid access authorization is read by the first access authorization reader and access to the blocking element is suddenly blocked, the skier can hit the blocking element at high speed and be injured.

In order to reduce the consequences of such an impact, the blocking element, ie z. B. the barrier arm of a rotary star, provided with a padding and / or be designed compliant, z. B. of a rubber-elastic material.

However, it can also be provided an optical or acoustic signal generator, which indicates a blocking and possibly the release of the access.

An optical display can also be realized in that the blocking element, ie z. B. the barrier arm of a rotary star in the release position the Although access clears, but more or less moved into the access lane. This also creates a psychological barrier to a quick entry into the access control device, so forewarned that the locking arm can be completely pivoted into the access track and thus block it. In order to indicate that the first access authorization reader has read a valid access authorization with a blocking arm slightly pivoted into the access lane in the release position, the blocking arm can be moved completely out of the access lane once a valid access authorization has been read with the first access authorization reader.

In order to prevent a person from being induced by the release position of the blocking element before passing the first access authorization reader to move at high speed through the access control device, the actuator can also be controlled differently from the outset, namely for a singling operation such that the blocking element prior to valid reading of an access authorization with the first access authorization reader, ie in the normal position, blocks the access and releases it only after valid reading with the first access authorization reader. A person moving at high speed onto the access control device thus sees the access blocked by the blocking element and will accordingly reduce its speed. In this case, however, in order not to come into contact with the blocking element, the blocking element, after valid reading with the first access authorization reader, is moved out of the access before the person reaches the blocking element.

Further, it is possible to control the motor selectively between the "open gate" operation and the singulation operation, in which the access is blocked in the normal position, ie between an operation in which the blocking element access before reading the access authorization with the first access authorization reader releases and only after invalid reading with the first access authorization reader and detection of a person with the person sensor blocked access or operation in which the blocking element blocked before valid reading an access authorization with the first access reader access and only after valid reading with the first access authorization reader releases. So z. B. in a ski lift in the first hours of the day of the day of the separation operation and then the "open gate" operation for the rest of the day are performed.

It is also possible to switch between the two operating modes automatically. So it would be conceivable that as long as there is a regular flow of people, the "open gate" operation is used, since in this case, a quick entry with skis is not possible. Breaking the column of people but so can be switched with a time delay on the lock operation. The spar blocks access. This until other people start again with the normal passage. Thus, one has the two advantages of Open Gate (no hindrance) and protection against too fast entry (accident risk) united.

Preferably, a rotary star is used with a single locking arm as a blocking element. This one locking arm can extend in the release position, ie in its downwardly rotated position, obliquely away from the access down, for example, at an angle of 10 ° or more with respect to the vertical. Thus, the space on the access track in the release position of the rotary star from the axis of rotation down to, so that a particularly convenient passage is achieved.

If a person sensor is provided, which detects a person in the barrier plane, ie in the vertical plane in which the one locking arm is in the over the access extending upwardly rotated locking position, the locking arm from the release position upon detection of a person with this Sensor to be rotated in a Lauerstellung, so something in the direction of blocking position, but without blocking the access.

If the access control device is set to singling operation, then the locking arm from the Lauerstellung can be further rotated into the locked position, whereby the person concerned can be easily pushed at too slow throughput speed with the locking arm.

In an "open-gate" operation, the barrier arm can be rotated back to the release position after valid read of the access authorization with the first access authorization reader from the lurking position to indicate the release to the controlled person.

On the other hand, in the case of invalid reading, the locking arm can be turned from the lurking position into the blocking position more quickly than if rotation from the release position to the blocking position has to be carried out.

In order to prevent that in the case of "open gate" operation, the blocking element, despite invalid reading, z. B. is held forcibly in the release position with ski poles, an alarm device may be provided which is actuated in such a violent blockage of the blocking element.

Darin zeigen jeweils schematischThe access control device according to the invention is explained in more detail by way of example with reference to the drawing. In each case show schematically

Sperrstellung und FIGS. 1 and 2 a perspective view of an access control device in the release position or blocking position and

FIG. 3 another embodiment with two antennas on the first access authorization reader.

According to FIG. 1 The access control device has a blocking element 1 designed as a rotating star, which is driven by an actuator in the form of a motor 2 shown in broken lines. The blocking element 1 is provided with two locking arms 3, 4 for blocking the access 7, which is passed in the direction of the arrow 5.

Der Winkel α, den die beiden Sperrarme 3, 4 miteinander einschließen, beträgt etwa 120°.The blocking element 1 is rotatable about an axis 6 inclined to the horizontal at an angle of approximately 35 °. The angle which the locking arms 3, 4 enclose with the axis of rotation 6 is in each case about 45 °. The angle α, the two locking arms 3, 4 include each other, is about 120 °.

While in the in FIG. 1 shown release position both locking arms 3, 4 are pivoted approximately vertically downwards, so that the access 7 is released, is through Rotation of the locking element 1 according to the arrow 8 'of the locking arm 3 is pivoted into the horizontal locking position and thus the access 7 blocks, as in FIG. 2 shown.

The access control device has a frame 8, which carries a housing 9. In the housing 9, the motor 2 is arranged; Also, it takes the necessary for the operation of the rotary member 1 and the motor 2 components, such as the bearing and the drive gear of the rotary member 1 and the electronics for controlling the motor 2 on.

On the housing 9, a further housing 11 is fixed, which is arranged in the access direction 5 in front of the housing 9. In the housing 11 and the housing 9, a dashed RFID read module 14 and 15 is provided with an antenna 12 and 13, respectively. Instead of two separate readers, the two antennas 12 and 13 may also be connected to a single read module, which is switchable between the reception with the antenna 12 and the reception with the antenna 13. It is therefore decisive that two antennas 12 and 13 arranged one behind the other in the access direction 5 are provided.

With the reader modules 14 and 15 with the antennas 12, 13, the access authorization can be read without contact, which is stored in a transponder as a data carrier, which leads the person with access rights.

Further, between the first antenna 12 and the second antenna 13 z. B. in the housing 9, an opto-electronic personal sensor 16 is arranged.

For access authorization read by the data carrier with the first access authorization reader 14, the access is 7 released as in FIG. 1 shown. So that a sufficient time is available for reading the data medium before the person passing into the access 7 reaches the blocking element 1, the antenna 12 of the first access authorization reader 14 is mounted at a distance A of, for example, 20 to 60 cm in front of the blocking element 1.

If the first access authorization reader 14 reads a valid access authorization, the blocking element 1 remains in the in FIG. 1 shown release position. If, on the other hand, a person without valid reading of an access authorization passes the first access authorization reader 14 and the personal sensor 16, the blocking element 1 is inserted in the in FIG. 2 shown blocking position pivoted.

The person who has passed the antenna 12 of the first access authorization reader 14 without valid reading and the personal sensor 16 is thus in front of the blocking arm 3 turned into the blocking position according to FIG FIG. 2 , It can wait there until the access 7 is released by a second subsequent person with valid access authorization.

In order to prevent this, according to the invention, in the case of an invalid reading of the access authorization with the antenna 12 of the first access authorization reader 14 and detection of a person with the personal sensor 16, the first access authorization reader 14 is switched off with the antenna 12 and the second access authorization reader 15 is switched on with the antenna 13 and thus the previously driven by the first access authorization reader 14 engine 2 is now driven by the second access authorization reader 15. An access authorization of a person who is the person standing in front of the closed blocking arm 3 is thus no longer detected by the first access authorization reader 14 with the antenna 12.

Instead, the access authorization of the person standing in front of the closed barrier arm 3 is again checked with the second access authorization reader 15 with the antenna 13. If a valid access authorization with the second access authorization reader 15 is read during the renewed check, the second access authorization reader 15 is switched off and the first access authorization reader 14 is switched on again in order to control the motor 2.

Further, in the range of the locking element 1 on the housing 9 an access authorization reader 19 for reading plugged, z. B. contact data carrier provided. Thus, the turnstile can also be opened by persons who only have such a plug-in data carrier with an access authorization.

In order to detect the entire width of the access lane 7 with the first access authorization reader 14 is according to FIG. 3 on the opposite side of the access track, a further housing 17 with a dashed line antenna 12 'is provided, which is connected to the first access authorization reader 14.
