Abstract

Erfindungsgemäß wird zum Verbessern der Qualität einer Sprachübertragung über eine zur Sprachdaten- und Allgemeindatenübertragung (DAT) vorgesehene Luftschnittstelle (LS) zunächst geprüft, ob die über die Luftschnittstelle (LS) zu übertragenden Daten (DA, DB, DAT) Sprachdaten (DA, DB) sind. Falls dies zutrifft, wird ein für Sprachübertragung spezifisches Vorwärtsfehlerkorrekturverfahren zugeschaltet, das auf die Sprachdaten (DA, DB) im Rahmen ihrer Übertragung über die Luftschnittstelle (LS) angewandt wird.
