Abstract

Bei der binauralen Versorgung eines Hörgeräteträgers mit zwei am Ohren tragbaren Hörhilfegeräten (1, 1', 11, 22, 24) soll das Richtungshören verbessert werden. Hierzu schlägt die Erfindung vor, jeweils Signallaufzeiten und/oder Signalamplituden und/oder Verstärkungen eines elektrischen Signals in einem Signalpfad zwischen einem Eingangswandler (2, 2', 12, 25, 26) und einem Ausgangswandler (4 14, 31) eines Hörhilfegerätes (1, 1', 11, 22, 24) zu messen und Daten bezüglich der gemessenen Signallaufzeiten und/oder Signalamplituden und/oder Verstärkungen auf das jeweils andere Hörhilfegerät zu übertragen. Dadurch können die Signallaufzeiten und die Signalamplituden der elektrischen Signale durch die beiden Hörhilfegeräte (1, 1', 11, 22, 24) aneinander angepasst werden. Damit wird durch die Hörhilfegeräte (1, 1', 11, 22, 24) keine Phasen- oder Amplitudenverzerrung verursacht und die natürliche Phasenverschiebung sowie der natürliche Amplitudenunterschied eines aus einer bestimmten Richtung einfallenden Schallsignals bleiben erhalten. Somit bleibt auch die Richtungsinformation für den Hörgeräteträger erhalten.
