A method and a hearing aid system of this type are out WO-A-01/20965 or the corresponding US-A-2002/0037087 known. In this known solution Hearing aid of the hearing aid system the current acoustic Surrounding situation identified and based on this identified the corresponding environmental situation Hearing program, i.e. the corresponding one, in the hearing aid saved parameter set, automatically set. Around to give the hearing aid user the opportunity, if desired the automatic detection of the surrounding situation and the associated automatic selection of the hearing program an input unit, e.g. a switch on the hearing aid or a remote control, available from the Hearing aid wearer can be operated.
In addition, hearing aids are also known in which the Hearing aid wearer the selection of the appropriate hearing program from a number of stored in the hearing aid Hearing programs must be carried out manually, namely via a Remote control or via a switch on the hearing aid. For many users is switching between different ones Hearing programs, however, bothersome or difficult, especially when there are many hearing programs to choose from.
The present invention is based on the object a method or a hearing aid system of the beginning to create the type mentioned, in which the respective hearing program belonging to the acoustic environment is automatically set, but it does Hearing aid wearer allowed in certain situations without great effort his personal listening desire contribute.

Zusammengefasst läuft die automatische Hörprogrammeinstellung wie folgt ab:Identification of the current acoustic Ambient situation and the automatic setting of the identified surrounding situation Hearing programs or parameter sets are always carried out to those in the aforementioned WO-A-01/20965 and US-A-2002/0037087 explained way. Therefore, for one detailed description of the automatic setting the appropriate hearing program on these publications, the content of which is hereby included in this description is referred. In summary, the automatic runs Hearing program setting as follows:
In der Signalanalyseeinheit 9 werden aus den
Ausgangssignalen des Analog/Digital-Wandlers 4
charakteristische, auditorisch-basierte Merkmale und
allenfalls zusätzlich noch technisch-basierte Merkmale
extrahiert. Aufgrund der in der Signalanalyseeinheit 9
extrahierten Merkmale wird in der
Signalidentifikationseinheit 10 über ein Wiedererkennen
desselben oder ähnlichen Musters der extrahierten Merkmale
die momentane akustische Umgebungssituation bestimmt und
ein entsprechendes Ausgangssignal erzeugt. Dieses
Ausgangssignal, das Informationen über die akustische
Umgebungssituation enthält, wird der Uebertragungseinheit
5 zugeführt, in der derjenige, die momentane
Uebertragungscharakteristik der Uebertragungseinheit 5
bestimmende Parametersatz eingestellt wird, der der
identifizierten akustischen Umgebungssituation zugeordnet
ist.In the
The hearing aid wearer now has the option of how
described automatically selected parameter set, i.e.
to influence the set hearing program.
For this purpose, the
diesem Nennwert N in zwei entgegengesetzten Richtungen C,
It is assumed that in FIG. 3 it is in the hearing aid
In one case it is assumed that the Hearing aid wearer by pressing button 15 (adjust in Sense of "more comfortable listening") the parameters in the direction the arrow C has adjusted. The parameters are now open the value marked with X is set. In the other case has the hearing aid wearer by operating the button 14 (Adjust in the sense of "better understanding") Change the parameters in the direction of arrow D so that the parameters are now set to Y designated value are set. It is in shown example of parameter P3 not changed Service.
The parameters can be adjusted in stages or continuously as well as either soft, i.e. inaudible, or hard, i.e. audible, done.
Dies soll an
einem Beispiel verdeutlicht werden. Thanks to the inventive method and with

Will
"angenehmeres Hören bzw. verbessertes Rundumhören".The hearing aid wearer is in a restaurant. in the

A large number of different can be found in the hearing aid Hearing programs, i.e. the corresponding parameter sets, are saved, of which each for the current acoustic environment best hearing program is automatically selected. The hearing aid wearer can his desire to hear, which is different from an acoustic Environmental situation to the next, but also within one given environmental situation, can change to simple Implement way, namely by pressing a button Keyboard. The latter comes with two buttons, but can also have more than two buttons. So that enables inventive concept the creation of a user-friendly hearing aid that automatically adjusted to the current acoustic environment and also the respective listening request of the Hearing aid wearer is able to take into account.
The
This replacement of the originally saved Parameter set against the corrected parameter set can are automatically learned by the hearing aid itself, e.g. through a neural network, or else by a hearing care professional or the hearing aid wearer be made yourself.
The hearing aid system described above serves in the sense a hearing aid to correct a damaged person Hearing of a person. The method according to the invention and the hearing aid concept according to the invention can analogously also with other acoustic Communication systems, e.g. for radios, applied or used.
