The invention relates to a coupling element for attachment to a shielded electrical wire, the at least two insulated electrical conductors, one same surrounding, flexible metallic screen and an overlying Has jacket made of insulating material, in which the shield on a sleeve-shaped, metallic adapter is set in the insulated electrical conductor of the line protrude into which contact elements are attached to the conductors of the line, which are arranged in a contact carrier made of mechanically strong insulating material, and in which the adapter leaving its opening facing away from the line from a protruding body protruding over the line, produced by injection molding Insulating material is surrounded and a method for attaching the Coupling element on a line (DE 30 34 415 A1).
Coupling element in the sense of the invention can be a plug or a socket. The associated contact elements can be designed as pins or sockets. Shielded electrical cables are used, for example, in portable radio equipment Telephone lines, for spring lines for stationary electro-acoustic systems or also used in vehicles, ships, airplanes and especially on trains. The Coupling elements should be moisture-proof in themselves. You must, too be moisture-proof connected to the respective line. In addition, the screen the line must be connected to the coupling element without interruption.
Zur Beseitigung von Fehlern und für eine Änderung der Positionen der Kontaktelemente im Kupplungsteil muß dasselbe daher jeweils neu montiert werden.EP 0 128 472 A2 discloses a coupling element in which the conductor has a electrical line connected to end contacts within a cylindrical Housing arranged and fixed in the same by means of insulating material. The most Housing attached to the end of the line is surrounded by an injection-molded protective body and completely filled by end contacts and insulating material. The end contacts are fixed in the housing. In addition, the coupling element has a block Insulating material with double-sided contact elements that can be detached from the housing is screwed on. It can be replaced when damaged contact elements are replaced should be. The contact elements engage in the assembled coupling element the end contacts in the housing. In the known coupling element according to DE 30 34 415 A1 mentioned at the beginning, which is considered the closest prior art, is the line-side end of a metallic adapter designed as an extension, the radial dimensions versus the dimensions of one on the connection side lying handle part of the adapter are smaller. In the approach is at a distance from his a circumferential, groove-shaped recess is attached to the line end. The approach also has at least one axially extending from the line end to Recesses extending recesses for receiving a guided into the recess Zugorgans the line on. At the approach is also one to the line protruding, metal sleeve firmly attached to the neck, which also with the the shield of the line connected to the approach. To the line end of the The base body and the end of the line is an insulating material Handle body sprayed around. This coupling element is with secure contacting of the The moisture-proof shield is attached to the end of the cable. However, it cannot be removed non-destructively from the cable end. To eliminate errors and for a change in the positions of the contact elements in the coupling part must be the same therefore be reassembled.
The invention has for its object the coupling element described above with associated procedure while maintaining a moisture-tight arrangement the cable and the uninterrupted shielding must be removable.
- that the adapter has a cavity free of the insulating material of the protective body for receiving supply lengths of the conductors and
- that the adapter at its end facing away from the line encompasses a captive metallic sleeve with an internal thread that can be freely rotated about its axis and into which a plug body equipped with a threaded connector and enclosing the contact carrier is screwed into the adapter with a moisture-proof system.
The cavity for receiving the supply lengths of the conductors is covered by a cover generated, which surrounds the conductor during the injection molding of the protective body and on lies against the wall of the adapter.
This coupling element is moisture-proof due to the sprayed-on protective body executed and connected to the line. Nevertheless, there is no risk of damage removable, because the plug body can be detached from the adapter by means of the sleeve. The conductor of the line, which is too long when assembling the coupling element are included as supply lengths in the cavity of the adapter and there against Damage protected. The supply lengths of the ladder allow when open Coupling element easy handling of the ladder with attached Contact elements. The coupling element can therefore be opened at any time if necessary so that, for example, the positions of the contact elements in the contact carrier can be changed. All you need to do is turn the metal sleeve so that it is turned be that the plug body is moved out of the same. The contact carrier is then available for manipulations of any kind. So it can too Measurements for troubleshooting are carried out. Then the connector body screwed back into the contact carrier by rotating the sleeve. The contact carrier is neither when closing nor when opening the coupling element turned. It is only moved in the axial direction. The connected conductors are not twisted, but also only in the axial direction to the Supply lengths pushed together or stretched again.
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the drawings.
angebracht. The coupling element K according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is shielded at the end
eingeschraubt. Zwischen Steckerkörper 8 und Adapter A liegt eine ringförmige Dichtung
10, beispielsweise ein O-Ring. Der Steckerkörper 8 kann außen Teile einer Verriegelung
haben, beispielsweise Teile eines Bajonettverschlusses. At the free end of the adapter A facing away from the
According to FIG. 2, at the ends of the

Adapter A geschoben.
At the end of
Adapter A eindringt.
The
The ends of the
Kontaktträger 12 in Richtung des Adapters A gezogen.
Adapters A gelagert.
The
For a possible disassembly of the coupling element K, for example for a
