Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Rußfilter für Dieselfahrzeuge mit einem in einem Gehäuse (25) gelagerten Filterkörper (1) insbesondere aus Keramik und wenigstens einem auf der Einlassseite des Filterkörpers (1) angeordneten und am Gehäuse fixierten Heizelement. Im Filterkörper (1) ist wenigstens eine sich in die vom Abgasstrom beaufschlagte vordere Stirnseite (7) des Filterkörpers (1) öffnende Ausnehmung (12) vorhanden, in die sich das Heizelement mit Axial- und Radialabstand hineinerstreckt.
