Claims (8)

  1. Device for temporarily closing an opening element (1) on a fixed element (5) of a motor vehicle body, said opening element (1) including a housing (2) intended to receive a lock, and said fixed element (5) including at least one tapped hole (6) for fastening a latch, characterised in that it comprises a blade-like plastic body (11) provided with means (13; 16; 17) for mounting in said tapped hole (6) and including, at a first end (11a), a guide means (18) intended to interact with an edge (3) of the housing (2) when the opening element (1) is closed and, at a second end (11b), a means (19) which retains said opening element (1) in its closed position against the fixed element (5) and is intended to penetrate inside the housing (2) behind another edge (4) of said housing (2).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the mounting means comprise, on the one hand, at least one member (13; 17) for fastening in the corresponding tapped hole (6) and arranged below the second end (11b) of the body (11), and, on the other hand, at least one member (16) designed for fitting in a recess (17) made on the fixed element (5) in the axis of said tapped hole (6).

Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that said fastening member is formed by two parallel pins (13), each arranged below one end of a plate (12) extending perpendicularly to the plane of the body (11), each pin (13) including peripheral ribs (14) and, at its free end, a cone (15) for centring in the corresponding tapped hole, and in that the said fitting member is formed by two shoulders (16) each arranged below the plate (12) in the axis of the corresponding pin (13).

Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that said fastening member is formed by a pin (13) and a screw (17) which are parallel, each arranged below one end of a plate (12) extending perpendicularly to the plane of the body (11), said pin (13) including peripheral ribs (14) and, at its free end, a cone (15) for centring in the corresponding tapped hole (6), and in that said fitting member is formed by two shoulders (16) each arranged below the plate (12) in the axis of the pin (13) and of the screw (17), respectively.
  5. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the guide means is formed by a V-shaped slot (18) which extends over a part of the length of the body (11) and whose opening (18a) is located at the level of the first end (11a) of said body (11).
  6. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the retaining means is formed by an elastic tongue (19) extending above the body (11).
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the elastic tongue (19) is inclined in the direction of the second end (11b) of the body (11).
  8. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the body (11) is made of moulded plastic.
