Abstract

Procédé permettant de contrôler le visionnement de programmes de télévision selon leur contenu, qui consiste à envoyer des codes utilisant un canal de données auxiliaire qui indique le niveau du contenu sexuel, de violence, de stress, etc. Ces codes sont assemblés en un paquet d'extension d'un signal télétexte et détectés au niveau d'un récepteur. Ledit récepteur est programmé par entrée de codes correspondants qui indiquent un contenu permis ou interdit et provoquent l'occultation de l'affichage et le réglage silencieux du son selon les codes transmis. Un système, une source de programmes et un récepteur sont également décrits.
