Abstract

The machine comprises a base (12) and a first stack (14) of articles to be franked and a second output stack (16) of articles which have been franked. The base includes a printing head (120) which applies the postage franking mark to the articles provided from the first stack in a first hopper (140). Transport rollers (124) carry the articles along a transfer path (122) to the output stack in the output hopper (160). A display (128) is provided alongside a control device (126), with both of these being linked to a processor (130) for management of the machine.
