Claims (6)
- Device for developing a dental X-ray film (3) packaged in a light-protection wrapper (4) which comprises two covering faces (5, 6), in which a respective tear-open tab (7, 8) is formed on the covering faces (5, 6) on an edge common to the packaging and the covering faces (5, 6) are connected to one another at their two edges extending parallel to the edge with the respective tear-open tab (7, 8) so that they can easily be torn apart, wherein the device comprises a development container (10) with a development frame (19) beneath an input slot (13) in which the dental X-ray film (3) is to be inserted, characterized in that the development device has, above the inlet slot (13) leading into the development container (10) and aligned therewith in a sluice member (11), an entry duct (12) for the packaging with the dental X-ray film (3) which is open toward an entry side (14), is located transversely to the plane of the entry direction of the dental X-ray film (3) into the development container (10) and at right angles to the upper side of the development container (10) and into which there opens from opposite sides a respective slot (15, 16) for receiving a respective tear-open tab (7, 8) of the packaging, these two slots (15, 16) at the same time being open to the entry side (14).
