Bei einer Einrichtung zur Verwaltung von digital codierten Verkehrsmeldungen in Empfangsgeräten werden empfangene und auf Gültigkeit und Neuheit geprüfte Verkehrsmeldungen in einem Speicher abgelegt. Je empfangener neuer Verkehrsmeldung wird ein Verwaltungsdatensatz generiert und gespeichert, der mindestens folgende Informationen enthält: Adresse der zugehörigen Verkehrsmeldung im Speicher, Zeit des erstmaligen Empfangs der Verkehrsmeldung und laufende Nummer der Verkehrsmeldung gemäß der Reihenfolge des erstmaligen Empfangs.
