Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for numbering of note sheets, each with N security notes, so-called benefits, in transverse and longitudinal rows arranged, printed and one after the other Run through the numbering machine with N numbering units, where the numbering is a closed number range with W value notes and the number the arc is a multiple of 100.
- each note sheet 40 benefits has to complete a closed Number range with one million numbers 25,000 Bow required. If the 40 benefits on one Sheets, for example, on four longitudinal rows and ten Cross rows are distributed, i.e. a matrix 4x10 arrangement, then takes place, for example the setting of all 40 numbering units Numbering of the first sheet as in Figure 1 shown.
- the 40 benefits are one Sheet schematically only by the ones to be printed Numbers are shown in rectangular boxes that in four longitudinal rows s1 to s4 and ten transverse rows r1 are arranged up to r10.
- a longitudinal row extends thereby in the direction in which a sheet the numbering machine goes through, as indicated by the arrow. It is assumed that the numbering, as is often the case, is done in the reverse direction. If in the following of "consecutive numbering" is spoken, then this can be both a numbering in the forward direction as well as in the backward direction mean.
- Figure 2 shows the last, that is, in the example considered the 25,000. Sheet with the last numbering within the closed number range.
- the number of benefits per sheet is 40, then must for the subsequent packaging of each ten bundles that correspond, for example, to positions s1, r1 Bundles of every hundreds stack summarized ten bundles each, which the same note position in ten consecutive correspond to hundreds of stacks. If the bundles after banding one after the other on a transport route, then must So in the example considered for the production of a Package the first, the forty-first, the eighty-first Bundle, etc., then the second, the forty-second, the eighty-second bundle, etc. be summarized, etc. This is for example required a fairly complicated device as described in DE-PS 25 02 987.
- the invention has for its object a method to create numbering, in which the smallest possible number of sheets to be numbered, the continuous to produce a package of 1,000 numbered banknotes is required against the previous number of 1,000 significantly reduced and at the same time the control of the security impressions as well the removal of misprints and the insertion of flawless Values with correct number relieved becomes.
- the N numbering units are at the beginning according to FIG. 3 for the first numbering so that in the first row r1 the numbers 250,000, 500,000, 750,000 and 000000 appear in the second row r2 the numbers 249,900, 499,900, 749,900, 999,900, etc. and in the last row r10 the numbers 249,100, 499,100, 749,100 and 999,100.
- the settings in the second numbering, i.e. the second Sheet printed numbers are shown in Figure 4 specified, the numbers of the 100th sheet appear in Figure 5, the numbers of the 101st sheet in Figure 6 and the numbers of the last sheet, i.e. the 25,000. Arc, in Figure 7.
- the numbering machine points in a known manner at least one numbering cylinder with N numbering units on whose arrangement the arrangement of the benefits on one sheet and which one for each Revolution of the numbering cylinder, after numbering a sheet passing the numbering machine, be automatically switched on.
- the hundreds digit rolls must be with each nine identical digits and one following this digit Number are provided so that in the case of Note position r2, s2 of the first sheet sequence this hundreds digit roll starts with a 9, then nine and ninety times an 8 prints, then, when numbering the first arc of the following arc sequence, again a 9 ( Figure 6), then again nine and ninety times an 8 prints, etc.
- the second modification of the numbering units is that the thousands digit rolls like this are coupled with the hundreds digit rolls that each roll of thousands digits after every 100 consecutive Advancing numberings by one digit.
- the Value note position r2, s2 is therefore after 100. Numbering the forwarding in the thousands place from number 9 ( Figure 5) to number 8 ( Figure 6).
- a sheet has four groups of ten useful, with each of the longitudinal rows s1 to s4 forms a group of ten.
- E is the setting of the numbering units is the same again original setting for A.
- the second group of ten that is, in the considered group Example of the longitudinal row s2 are processed, whereby one consisting of the first ten bundles first package of thousands with the numbers of 500,000 results in up to 499'001, followed by 249 more thousands packages with consecutive numbering.
- the third and the fourth group of ten i.e. the longitudinal rows s3 and s4, processed into thousands of packets.
- the example of Figure 8 also relates to one closed number range of 1,000,000 numbers with 40 sheets per sheet and correspondingly 25,000 Arc.
- the only difference is that the Use in five longitudinal rows s1 to s5 and eight transverse rows r1 to r8 are arranged, the eight benefits the first longitudinal row s1 and the first two benefits the second longitudinal row s2 at positions r1, s2 and r2, s2 the first group of ten, the following six benefits the second longitudinal row and the first four benefits the third longitudinal row s3 at positions r1, s3 to r4, s3 form the second group of ten, etc. Otherwise numbering is done in exactly the same way as described for the example of Figures 3 to 7. Only when processing the cut ones Bundles must be bundled into thousands the arrangement of the benefits on one Bow are taken into account.
- the invention also relates in general Wise embodiments in which this condition is not met and for those after numbering of a closed number range ten belonging to at least one group of ten Numbering units must be reset before the numbering of the following number range starts.
- the three longitudinal rows form the three groups of ten.
- the numbering starts in the first row with the numbers 30,000, 60,000 and 90,000.
- the benefits of the first group of ten i.e. the first longitudinal row s1
- the benefits of the second Group of ten that is, the second longitudinal row s2 from 60,000 to 30,001
- the benefits of third group of ten i.e. the third long row s3 are numbered from 90,000 to 60,001.
- the numbering according to the invention can be also perform with known numbering units, at which at least the hundreds and thousands digits electrically independently any numbering can be switched, especially after a given program.
- Such electric switchable numbering units which from a computer can be controlled in EP-B 0 167 196 described.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for numbering of note sheets, each with N security notes, so-called benefits, in transverse and longitudinal rows arranged, printed and one after the other Run through the numbering machine with N numbering units, where the numbering is a closed number range with W value notes and the number the arc is a multiple of 100.
The numbering of note sheets, in particular of sheets having banknote prints known and is used in the processing of Note sheet to bundle of notes with continuous numbered individual securities, for example in the DE-PS 25 02 987 and EP-B-167 196 described. Then the sheets are placed one after the other Numbering machine numbered such that all benefits, which have the same position on the sheet that is called in the same transverse row and the same Longitudinal series, consecutive numbers, whereby this sequence of numbers continues until to complete a so-called closed Number range extends. Such a number range generally comprises one million numbered Notes of a certain series.
Für den Fall, dass jeder Wertscheinbogen 40 Nutzen
aufweist, sind zur Fertigstellung eines geschlossenen
Nummernkreises mit einer Million Nummern 25'000
Bogen erforderlich.
4x10-Anordnung aufweisen, dann erfolgt beispielsweise
bedeuten.In the event that each
The one that exists in practice apart from the number Name of the series, usually in the form of a Prefix of numbers and / or letters, which for a closed number range are the same in the figures and in the following considerations omitted for simplicity.
Figure 2 shows the last, that is, in the example considered the 25,000. Sheet with the last numbering within the closed number range.
According to previous practice, that is, in the figures 1 and 2 is illustrated, all benefits are are located at s1, r1, on the 25'0000 consecutive Sheet continuously from 025000 to 000001 numbered, all benefits that are in position s2, r1 numbered from 275000 to 250001, all benefits, which are in position s1, r2, from 050000 numbered up to 025001, etc; for the last position s4, r10 the numbering runs from 000000 to 975001. each the numbering units therefore count starting from his Starting position, continuously 25000 steps down.
Dieses bekannte Numerierungsprinzip hat jedoch verschiedene Nachteile:However, this known numbering principle has various disadvantages:
A first disadvantage arises from the required Processing of the numbered note sheets to value packages. These packages must each ten bundles of notes, each with 100 consecutively numbered Banknotes contain such that every 1,000 banknotes of a package a correct continuous Sequence of numbers of a certain thousand series to have. So far, this processing is done so that behind the numbering machine stack with 100 sheets each formed and this stack then in bundles with each 100 notes can be cut. Every bundle is then surrounded with a banderole, and then are ten bundles each, the total of 1,000 have consecutively numbered notes of value to one Package with 1,000 notes summarized what a corresponding re-sorting of the bundles requires. If, as in the example according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the number of benefits per sheet is 40, then must for the subsequent packaging of each ten bundles that correspond, for example, to positions s1, r1 Bundles of every hundreds stack summarized ten bundles each, which the same note position in ten consecutive correspond to hundreds of stacks.
To a package with a thousand consecutively numbered Receiving banknotes must take at least this long be waited until at least a thousand consecutive Sheets numbered, cut and the resulting bundles have been banded and sorted are. So far, the smallest machining cycle has required that means making a package with a thousand Banknotes, the previous numbering of at least 1,000 sheets.
In case of misprint, always a thousand series is affected.
Ein weiterer wesentlicher Nachteil ist folgender:Another major disadvantage is the following:
It can easily be seen from FIG. 2 that
after completing the numbering of a closed
Number range of one million notes
the numbering units take number positions,
which is used to start numbering a new one
Number range a completely new setting by hand
require to get the correct starting numbers again
to get in the correct positions. The numbering work
after completion of a
closed number range of one million
Banknotes are interrupted and it must be in
tedious
The invention has for its object a method to create numbering, in which the smallest possible number of sheets to be numbered, the continuous to produce a package of 1,000 numbered banknotes is required against the previous number of 1,000 significantly reduced and at the same time the control of the security impressions as well the removal of misprints and the insertion of flawless Values with correct number relieved becomes.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch die im
Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale
gelöstThis object is achieved by the im
Characteristics of
This means that 100 are already running numbered coupons are enough to get out these packages of notes with 1,000 banknotes each to establish which the correct number sequence to have. To do this, it is sufficient to cut one Stacks of 100 numbered sheets in bundles of notes the 10 neighboring or successive ones Bundle, whose notes of value to a group of ten belong directly to a package of thousands summarize. From the following batch of 100 sheets result from the same group of ten the following package with the following thousand series etc.
Wenn der geschlossene Nummernkreis vorzugsweise
W = 10n Wertscheine umfasst, wobei n eine
geschlossenen Nummernkreises sofort, ohne
irgendeine Neueinstellung der Numerierwerke, begonnen
werden kann, wie sich aus Patentanspruch 2 ergibt.
Da somit eine mühsame Neueinstellung der Numerierwerke
nach Beendigung jedes geschlossenen Nummernkreises
entfällt, wird die Numerierung
aufeinanderfolgender geschlossener Nummernkreise
und damit die Verarbeitung der Wertscheinbogen zu
Wertscheinpaketen wesentlich erleichtert und
beschleunigt. If the closed number range preferably comprises W = 10 n notes, where n is an integer from four, especially if W = 1,000,000, then the new numbering method allows the numbering units to be set in such a way that after the numbering has ended, a closed one Number range of, for example, 1,000,000 banknotes, the numbering of the following closed number range can be started immediately without any readjustment of the numbering units, as is evident from
In the example according to FIGS. 3 to 7, this is the case the numbering of a closed number range with W = 1,000,000 notes, in particular Banknotes, with 25,000 sheets of N = 40 benefits are provided, which are matrix-shaped in four Longitudinal rows s1 to s4 and ten transverse rows r1 to r10 are arranged. It is assumed that the numbering done in the reverse direction.
Bogens, in Figur 7.The N numbering units are at the beginning according to FIG. The settings in the second numbering, i.e. the second Sheet printed numbers are shown in Figure 4 specified, the numbers of the 100th sheet appear in Figure 5, the numbers of the 101st sheet in Figure 6 and the numbers of the last sheet, i.e. the 25,000. Arc, in Figure 7.
The numbering machine points in a known manner at least one numbering cylinder with N numbering units on whose arrangement the arrangement of the benefits on one sheet and which one for each Revolution of the numbering cylinder, after numbering a sheet passing the numbering machine, be automatically switched on.
The special thing about the numbering process according to the Invention consists in the following: After 100 on the benefits of the same value position Sequence of 100 consecutive sheets with of a certain series of hundreds are the following 100 benefits to it Note position of the following sheet sequence again the same 100 numbers. What is between two successive sequences of 100 sheets each changes is the thousands series. For example the benefits at the value position r2, s2 the first arc sequence down from 499,900 to 499,801 numbered (Figures 3 and 5) while the corresponding Use the numbers in the following arc sequence obtained from 498,900 (Figure 6) to 498,801.
When working with conventional numbering units the one of the number of digits to be attached Number corresponding number of digit rolls with each have ten digits, then must the numbering units two modifications receive:
The hundreds digit rolls must be with each nine identical digits and one following this digit Number are provided so that in the case of Note position r2, s2 of the first sheet sequence this hundreds digit roll starts with a 9, then nine and ninety times an 8 prints, then, when numbering the first arc of the following arc sequence, again a 9 (Figure 6), then again nine and ninety times an 8 prints, etc.
Figur 11 veranschaulicht diesen Sachverhalt. The two digits of the hundreds digits of those ten numbering units, which are a group of ten of benefits as the figures show, one unit at a time. This way the ten benefits are achieved have numbers in a group of ten of each sheet, which differ by 100 units each. figure 11 illustrates this fact.
Numerierung die Weiterschaltung in der Tausenderstelle von der Ziffer 9 (Figur 5) zur Ziffer 8 (Figur 6).The second modification of the numbering units is that the thousands digit rolls like this are coupled with the hundreds digit rolls that each roll of thousands digits after every 100 consecutive Advancing numberings by one digit. In the example considered, the Value note position r2, s2 is therefore after 100. Numbering the forwarding in the thousands place from number 9 (Figure 5) to number 8 (Figure 6).
In the example considered, a sheet has four groups of ten useful, with each of the longitudinal rows s1 to s4 forms a group of ten.
If W = 10 n , where n is an integer from 4, the numbering process can easily be carried out in such a way that after complete numbering of a closed number range, all numbering units are set again so that the numbering of the following closed number range can be started immediately without having to manually reset the numbering units to the correct starting numbers. This fact is illustrated by the considered example, in which W = 1,000,000 and N = 40.
As the figures show, the arrangement is like this hit that the numbers match each other Note positions of different groups of ten of an arc by an amount, which is W / Z, where Z is the number of groups of ten is one arc and four in the example considered is. Since, of course, W is the product of the number of Sheet and the number of sheets is N, the number is Sheet in the case considered 25,000. Through the described order of numbers is the sequence of numbers, which is a certain group of ten of all Receives 25,000 sheets, the continuation of the corresponding Number sequence of the previous group of ten every 25,000 sheets. So that means, for example, that the number 250'001 of position r10, s2 of second group of ten of the last numbered sheet (Figure 7) to number 250,000 of position r1, s1 of numbered sheet (Figure 3), etc.
Für E ist die Einstellung der Numerierwerke wieder gleich der ursprünglichen Einstellung für A.If now the numbering units after numbering of the last numbered sheet, i.e. the 25,000. Sheet (Figure 7), before beginning the numbering of the following closed number range switched once then kick back automatically all starting numbers, but by a group of ten offset (Figure 12). For example, switches the number 750'901 at position r1, s4 of the fourth Group of ten (Figure 7) according to the previously described Procedure on number 750,000, what after Figure 3 shows the initial number at position r1, s3 of the third Is group of ten; the number switches accordingly 750'001 at position r10, s4 of the last group of ten to the number 749'100 at position r10, s3 the third group of ten, the number 500,901 at the Position r1, s3 of the third group of ten (FIG. 7) the number 500,000 of position r1, s2 of the second Group of ten (Figure 3) etc. That means that for Numbering consecutive closed Number ranges at the beginning of a new number range no readjustment of the numbering units required is what saves a lot of time and labor means. Figure 12 illustrates this fact for five successive number ranges, each with W = 1,000,000, with the different number ranges are distinguished by the prefixes A to E. For E is the setting of the numbering units is the same again original setting for A.
Because of the numbering procedure described the numbered sheets are simple as follows to packages of 1'000 each consecutively numbered notes processed:
Nach dem Verlassen der Numeriermaschine werden
in bekannter Weise jeweils 100 aufeinanderfolgende
Bogen gestapelt und in Bündel von je 100
Einzelwertscheinen zerschnitten, woraufhin die Bündel
banderoliert werden. Alle zehn Bündel, die zur selben
Zehnergruppe, das heisst zur selben Längsreihe desselben
Hunderter-Stapels gehören, sind jeweils mit aufeinanderfolgenden
Hunderter-Serien numeriert und
enthalten daher die komplette Nummernsequenz einer
Tausender-Serie.
Nummernsequenz von 250'000 bis 000,001.After leaving the numbering machine
in a known
At the same time, after cutting, you can simultaneously the bow of hundreds of bundles the second group of ten, that is, in the considered group Example of the longitudinal row s2, are processed, whereby one consisting of the first ten bundles first package of thousands with the numbers of 500,000 results in up to 499'001, followed by 249 more thousands packages with consecutive numbering. This in parallel to the first 250 thousand packets formed, which correspond to the second group of ten, contain the numbers 500,000 to 250,001. Accordingly, the third and the fourth group of ten, i.e. the longitudinal rows s3 and s4, processed into thousands of packets.
In contrast to what is known so far, therefore due to the new numbering process Processing of the cut bundles into thousands of packages after the numbering of only Perform 100 sheets. Furthermore, they can be different Banknotes belonging to groups of ten in parallel Operations are processed without would have to be waited until all bows that one represent closed number range, numbered have been.
The example of Figure 8 also relates to one closed number range of 1,000,000 numbers with 40 sheets per sheet and correspondingly 25,000 Arc. The only difference is that the Use in five longitudinal rows s1 to s5 and eight transverse rows r1 to r8 are arranged, the eight benefits the first longitudinal row s1 and the first two benefits the second longitudinal row s2 at positions r1, s2 and r2, s2 the first group of ten, the following six benefits the second longitudinal row and the first four benefits the third longitudinal row s3 at positions r1, s3 to r4, s3 form the second group of ten, etc. Otherwise numbering is done in exactly the same way as described for the example of Figures 3 to 7. Only when processing the cut ones Bundles must be bundled into thousands the arrangement of the benefits on one Bow are taken into account.
When processing banknotes, the in most cases closed number ranges with W = 1,000,000 and number of sheets per sheet of 40, 50 or 80 chosen; with 40 sheets, the layout of the as described above, either 4 x 10 or 8 x 5 amount, with 50 uses of course 5 x 10 and with 80 uses 8 x 10 or 4 x 20 if applicable. The above The data given are the preferred exemplary embodiments according to the invention.
To take advantage of the numbering method described To make full use of this will result in benefit figures of 30, 60 and 70 not chosen because of it a million numbers not in equal parts on all Allow groups of ten to be distributed. Rather, it has to the selection of the data meets the condition that the division W / Z (Z = number of groups of ten per arc) is a multiple of a hundred. Of course, this also applies if W is only 100,000 or Is 10,000. In the case of W = 10,000, the Number of uses 20 or 50.
The restrictive condition discussed above So guarantees that after the full Numbering a closed number range all numbering units of the numbering machine automatically again all starting numbers for the numbering of the following number range, where these starting numbers only by a group of ten appear staggered.
However, the invention also relates in general Wise embodiments in which this condition is not met and for those after numbering of a closed number range ten belonging to at least one group of ten Numbering units must be reset before the numbering of the following number range starts.
Dagegen
das heisst der Längsreihe s1.Such an example is shown in FIGS. 9 and 10
for a closed number range with W = 90,000
Banknotes and 3,000 sheets with 30 benefits each
in three long rows and ten transverse rows,
shown. The three longitudinal rows form the three groups of ten.
The numbering starts in the first row
with the numbers 30,000, 60,000 and 90,000. After
Description of the previous examples is made
it is easily clear that the benefits of the first group of ten
(i.e. the first longitudinal row s1) of all 3,000
Sheet from 30,000 to 00001, the benefits of the second
Group of ten (that is, the second longitudinal row s2)
from 60,000 to 30,001 and finally the benefits of
third group of ten (i.e. the third long row
s3) are numbered from 90,000 to 60,001. The following

In such cases there is also the advantage that out of 100 consecutive sheets Thousands packets made with correct number sequence can be; there is also the advantage that the new setting of the numbering units at the beginning of the Numbering of another closed number range on the setting of only ten, one specific Numbering units assigned to groups of ten is limited, while the remaining numbering units do not need to be reset.
The peculiarity of the new numbering leaves in other words as follows summarize: After all numbering units on the starting numbers were set, which of the total number of numbers to be numbered Number range and number of sheets per sheet (or the number of groups of ten per sheet), the result is a hundred numberings each following number in that in the case of downward numbering Subtracted 901 units and in the case of Upward numbering 901 units can be added. With the downward numbering it has after 100 Number appearing in the last numbering both digits 01, while in the upward numbering this number of course a round hundred, so 00, in the last two digits.
The numbering according to the invention can be also perform with known numbering units, at which at least the hundreds and thousands digits electrically independently any numbering can be switched, especially after a given program. Such electric switchable numbering units, which from a computer can be controlled in EP-B 0 167 196 described.
