Abstract

An apparatus for slitting and curling decorative ribbons is described, in which the apparatus comprises a cutting punch which is resiliently and movably connected to a counter-plate. The cutting punch possesses, on its side facing the counter-plate, a multiplicity of cutting elements which are in the form of plastic cutters and which extend in the direction of the relative movement between the apparatus and the decorative ribbon. The counter-plate is in the form of a die with holes. Each plastic cutter is assigned a hole into which the plastic cutter can plunge. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gerät zum Schlitzen und Ringeln von Zierverpackungsbändern gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Pa­tentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a device for slitting and curling decorative packaging tapes according to the preamble of claim 1.

Diese Anordnung hat zur Folge, daß sich während des Schlitz­vorganges das Zierverpackungsband nach oben in den vergrößerten Querschnitt der Zähne hinein bewegt. Die Folge ist ein unsauber und optisch unangenehm ge­schlitztes Zierverpackungsband. Gerät zum Schlitzen und Ringeln von Zierverpackungsbändern (9), wobei das Gerät einen Schneidstempel (1) umfaßt, der federnd und beweg­lich mit einer Gegenplatte (7) verbunden ist, und wobei der Schneidstempel (1) auf seiner der Gegen­platte (7) zugewandten Seite eine Vielzahl von Schneidelementen besitzt, durch welche ein zwischen dem Schneidstempel (1) und der Gegenplatte (7) ein­gelegtes Zierverpackungsband (9) bei einer Relativ­bewegung (A) zwischen dem Gerät und dem Zierverpackungs­band (9) geschlitzt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schneidelemente als Kunststoffschneiden (2) aus­ gebildet sind, die sich in Richtung der Relativbewegung (A) zwischen dem Gerät und dem Zierverpackungsband (9) erstrecken, und daß die Gegenplatte (7) als Matrize mit Löchern (4) ausgebildet ist, wobei jeder Kunst­stoffschneide (2) ein Loch (4) zugeordnet ist, in welches die Kunststoffschneide (2) eintauchen kann, oder daß die dem Schneidstempel (1) zugewandte Ober­fläche der Gegenplatte (7) als weiche Oberfläche aus­gebildet ist.1.
