Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a special design of backhoe excavators, in particular with a gripping device for clearing rocks, according to the preamble of the present claim.
When excavating with conventional backhoe excavators, large boulders that occur are usually attached and lifted with a rope or hawser on the bucket arm, provided that their size does not allow them to be gripped by the digging bucket or excavator shovel. In addition to the fact that this is very tedious, cumbersome and time-consuming during earthmoving work and poses a not inconsiderable threat due to the latent risk of slipping of the boulders, a precise positioning of the blocks of stone or boulders is very limited due to the mostly restricted mobility of the dipper stick hardly possible.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the digging buckets or the excavator shovels are replaced by special stone grabs in known excavators which are used for stone clearing work. These consist essentially of three to five circularly arranged, hydraulically operated grippers with which the stone or boulders are securely and be clamped. Larger stones or blocks can be lifted, moved and placed without any problems.
Due to this special design of the lifting device of the excavator, these can practically only be used only for work in which stones have to be lifted, since the special lifting and gripping tool is not suitable for excavation work. In the case of corresponding excavation work, the complete stone grab on the dipper stick would have to be replaced by a suitable digging bucket or an excavator shovel. Constant reassembly of these lifting or digging tools is not, however, a matter of discussion in realiter and also entails a considerable risk potential.
This well-known backhoe excavator is equipped with a gripping device for clearing boulders, which the conventional digging bucket forms together with additional grabs mounted on the dipper arm, which can be pivoted independently of one another by hydraulic cylinders. With the additional grippers, the clearing material can be loaded onto the excavator bucket and a clamping effect, which is necessary to lift the clearing material, can be exerted.
However, because the additional grippers are mounted directly on the dipper stick, the forceps of the additional grippers with the digging spoon depend on its movement relative to the dipper stick, so that the additional grippers have to be tracked synchronously with the movements of the digging spoon, which considerably complicates the control. In other words, in order to exert or maintain a clamping effect, every movement of the digging spoon requires an explicit tracking of the additional grippers.
Starting from this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a backhoe of the type specified, in which it is always ensured by simple design features that holding elements automatically follow the movement of the digging spoon, so that the clamping effect of the holding elements of movements of the digging spoon is independent.
This object is achieved by the features listed in the characterizing part of the claim.
This solution consists primarily in the fact that tooth-
With the backhoe excavator according to the invention, an implement has been created which is suitable both for excavating earth and for picking up heavy clearing material.

- 2 shows a top view of the arrangement according to FIG. 1.
The basic innovations are now as follows: Due to the optimal arrangement of the two
