Während dieses Vorganges wird das Trennmesser 40 mittels der Antriebseinrichtung 41 in den Folienbahnbereich in Richtung des Pfeiles Z1 bewegt und trennt die Folienbahn von dem das Verpackungsgut V umhüllenden Folienbahnabschnitt. Das freie Ende FBI der Folienbahn FB wird von den Enden 30a, 130a der Halterohre 30, 130 gehalten, während das freie Ende desjenigen Folienbahnabschnittes, welches durch das Abschneiden von der Folienbahn FB freigelegt worden ist, an den Folienbahnabschnitt herangelegt wird, der bereits das Verpackungsgut V umgibt. 3. An apparatus according to either Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in that the supporting frame (10) is provided with base supports (13, 14) carrying castors (15,16) on their bottom ends (13a, 14a).

An apparatus according to Claims 1 thru 3, characterized in that the retaining tubes (30, 130) are provided on their outside with thread-like guide-ways which are constructed in such a manner that the rotational movements of the retaining tubes (30,130) are contrarotating relative to one another.
