So kennt man bereits einen Papierrollenspender der eingangs erwähnten Art (US-PS Nr. 4294389) mit einem im wesentlichen lotrechten, prismenförmigen Gehäuse, in dem eine in Gebrauch befindliche Papierrolle zuunterst und weitere, auf Vorrat gehaltene Papierrollen oberhalb davon zu liegen kommen; dabei werden die Vorratsrollen mittels einer Rückhaltefeder getrennt von der Gebrauchsrolle gehalten, so dass diese auch gut zu entrollen ist. Eine solche Rückhaltefeder ist jedoch störanfällig. Bricht sier lasten die Vorratsrollen auf der Gebrauchsrolle und behindern das Abziehen der Papierbahnen davon. Dieser Schlitz 8 kann sich durchgehend von der Rückwand 9 des Vorratsteiles 5 bis zur Abrisskante 10 am vorderen Ende 11 des Abgabeteiles erstrecken, wie dies in Fig. 1 gezeigt ist. Claims (8)

1. A dispenser (1) for rolls of toilet paper, comprising a casing (4) for accommodating a roll in use (2a) as well as at least one reserve roll (2), the casing (4) having at the space for the roll in use (2a) a discharge opening in the form of a slit (23) for the web of paper, the roll in use (2a) as well as the reserve roll (s) (2) being enclosed by the casing almost all round in a non-removable state, the casing having an opening (16) for withdrawing a spool (17) or similar inner reel body, an aid for retaining the roll (s) not yet in use together with an associated feed opening and an approximately vertical storage portion (5), characterized in that the casing (4) is of substantially L-shaped configuration with at the bottom a discharge portion (6) for the roll in use (2a) adjoining the storage portion (5) at approximately right angles thereto, that between the storage portion (5) and the discharge portion (6) provision is made for a retaining aid in the form of a retaining sill (18), the clearance between said sill and the casing segment opposite corresponding to at least the diameter of one roll (2, 2a), and that at least in the region of the base of the storage portion (5) there is provided an access opening extending in the direction of further feed (arrow Pf1) of the paper rolls.

The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that the opening (16) for withdrawing a spool (17) is disposed on a side wall (12a) of the casing and near the paper web slit (23) at approximately that height from the supporting base (7) of the casing (4) which corresponds to the diameter of the spool (17).
3. The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterized in thatthe access opening extends over the discharge portion (6) and preferably takes the form of a slit (8) provided in the common supporting base (7) of the storage and discharge portion (5 and 6).

The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that one of the side walls (12a,12b) of the casing is devised as the fixing side (12b) and that on the side wall (12a) opposing the latter there are located inspection and feed openings (15) which are coordinated in position with respect to fixing holes for fixing screws (14) on the fixing side (12b) of the casing (4) in such a manner that said inspection and feed openings simultaneously represent the service openings for the fixing screws, said screws being covered by the rolls (2) when the storage portion (5) is in a filled state.
6. The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that on the inside of its fixing side (12b) there is provided a mask (24), preferably a removable one, for the fixing screws (14).
7. The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 6, the storage part of which has a lid at the top, characterized in that said lid (21) is lockable.
8. The dispenser for paper rolls as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the casing (4) is made of high-grade stainless steel plate.
