Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a knife for cutting disruptive fiber associations forming on textile machines with an interchangeable knife blade, the knife blade being mounted in a slide which, in a dovetail-like recess in a knife handle, moves from a working position into a protective position holding the knife blade sunk in the knife handle and back is slidably mounted.
Known knives of the type described in the opening paragraph, commonly referred to as winding knives, are used in factories in the textile industry in which textile fibers, i.e. Both animal and vegetable as well as artificial fibers are processed, malfunctions occurring on processing machines, which can occur due to the formation of unwanted fiber coils at various points during fiber processing without being able to remedy long interruptions in operation. In this context, winding is understood to mean a wound or wound fiber structure without a supporting or supporting body.
There is a winding knife with a knife handle and a slider mounted in the knife handle known, in which the slide carrying a knife blade can be pushed into a working and a protective position in the knife handle, but are removed from the knife handle for averting or replacing the knife blade got to. In addition, in the working position of the knife blade, the slide is not held on all sides, which can be the cause of a rapid destruction of the knife handle, since large forces often have to be applied to cut and remove the mentioned winding.
This is where the invention comes in, which is based on the object of designing a knife of the type described at the outset in such a way that the knife blade can be turned or replaced quickly and without removing the slide from the knife handle and the slide is positively supported on all sides in the working position.

The winding knife shown in FIG. 1 has a C-shaped knife handle 1 with a dovetail-like recess 2, a
The
The
The
A clamping screw is used to clamp the
To turn or replace the
From Fig. 1 it can be seen that a
In the knife described, the
