Abstract

Es liegt eine kompakte flächenförmige Quecksilber­ dampf-Niederdruckentladungslampe vor, die sich für die gerichtete Beleuchtung im Wohn- und Arbeitsbereich eig­ net. Das Entladungsgefäss setzt sich aus einem schalen­ förmigen Oberteil (1) mit einem zentralen Sockel (7) und einer ebenen Abschlussplatte (2) zusammen, wobei beide Teile aus Pressglas gefertigt sind. Im Oberteil (1) ist durch zwei oder mehrere ringförmige Trennwände (4a) sowie einer geraden Trennwand (4b) ein gewundener Entla­ dungsweg (9) gebildet, der in einer Ebene senkrecht zur Ausstrahlungsrichtung verläuft. Durch eine entsprechen­ de Formgebung und Ausgestaltung der beiden Gefäss­ teile (1, 2) wird erreicht, dass mindestens 80% des er­ zeugten Lichtstromes über die ebene Abschlussplatte (2) abgegeben wird. In einer vorteilhaften Ausführung ist das schalenförmige Oberteil (1) auf seiner Innenseite (10) mit einer relativ dicken Leuchtstoffbeschichtung (11) (mehr als 6 mg/cm³) versehen. Bei geringerer Schicht­ dicke des Leuchtstoffes Ist eine zusätzliche Reflexions­ beschichtung aufgebracht.
