Abstract
The invention relates to the biometric identification and authentication of a person and can be used in systems to restrict access to protected objects, in training systems and electronic document management, in electronic passports and identity cards. A method of identifying a person by an EEG response to ambiguous images consists of identifying individual reactions to various stimuli using electroencephalogram (EEG), so-called ambiguous images, such as Necker's cubes, are used as incentives for identifying a person to his full EEG-portrait, which is stored in the database and used as a reference for further identification; artificial neural networks are used as recognition algorithms. The technical result is an experimentally verified correct identification of one operator out of two or more in 99% of cases, which proves the performance, reliability and high efficiency of the proposed method when using a small set of relatively simple incentives - Necker's cubes. Reducing the number of incentives leads to a decrease in the required time for the implementation of the method.
