Abstract

The invention relates to a vessel (0) for transport and handling means offshore, said vessel comprising a dockship (1) with means of propulsion (11), and at least one ship/barge (2) including one or more elevation legs (3a,3b,3c,3d). The dockship (1) is connected to the ship/barge with connection means (12) and covers at least a section (4) of the ship/barge hull including the ke or bottom (4) of said section. The invention also relates to a method as well as uses of the vessel and method.
