Claims (7)

1. Bærbar telekommunikationsterminal med antenneorganer (1) til at modtage og sende talesignaler og/eller data via mobile telekommunikationsnetværk, og signalbearbejdningsorganer (10) til at kode indgangstalesignaler og/eller data til transmission og dekodning af modtagne signaler, hvor: terminalen har to eller flere transceiverkæder, idet hver kæde servicerer et forskelligt mobiltelekommunikationsnetværk, transceiverkæderne har modtage- og sendekomponenter (3, 4, 5, 6) forbundet med antenneorganerne, idet transceiverkæderne kan fungere samtidigt, hver især på et forskelligt frekvensbånd; de forskellige frekvensbånd for transceiverkæderne er nærtliggende frekvensbånd i en indbyrdes afstand på 300 MHz eller mindre, hvor transceiverkæderne omfatter en første transceiverkæde til at transmittere og modtage GSM signaler og en anden transceiverkæde til at transmittere og modtage UMTS signaler og antenneorganerne (1) omfatter en dielektrisk resonatorantenne til at tilvejebringe isolation imellem de nærtliggende frekvensbånd for de respektive transceiverkæder; og terminalen omfatter organer til at bestemme signalkvaliteten på et målnetværk under brug af et første netværk, for at bestemme om terminalen skal skifte fra det første netværk til målnetværket.
2. Terminal ifølge krav 1, hvor de to eller flere transceiverkæder fungerer samtidigt for at modtage signaler transmitteret samtidigt via de forskellige frekvensbånd medens den samtidigt transmitterer på et valgt enkelt af frekvensbåndene.
3. Terminal ifølge krav 2 omfattende måleorganer til at udføre målinger på signaler modtaget via de respektive frekvensbånd.
4. Terminal ifølge krav 3, hvor måleorganerne er indrettede til at udføre målinger på signaler modtaget via ét af frekvensbåndene samtidigt med at terminalen modtager og transmitterer signaler via et andet frekvensbånd.
5. Terminal ifølge krav 3 eller 4, hvor det valgte frekvensbånd vælges som reaktion på et signal fra måleorganerne.
6. Terminal ifølge ethvert af de foregående krav, hvor transceiverkæderne omfatter en første transceiverkæde til at transmittere og modtage GSM signaler og en anden transceiverkæde til at transmittere og modtage UMTS signaler.
7. Terminal ifølge ethvert af de foregående krav, omfattende to transceiverkæder, som er indrettede til at transmittere og modtage signaler på respektive frekvensbånd i en indbyrdes afstand på 175 MHz eller mindre.
