On the side or in a line: sender-receiver
experience has shown that moving reflective structures to call fluctuations in the

Become more and more intense over time. Besides, the one that is effective in every moment depends
Reflection still depends on the polarization. A transmitter with rotating polarization is known,
which is done by rotating the beam source and then mirroring it. It is also known that one for education

Display is brought, e.g. B. as sound. According to the invention, a guide beam is used to reduce the effect of retro-reflectors
formed by two overlapping radiation beams with rotating
Polarization, but at different speeds of rotation, is sent out and at the receiving location
in a stationary or rotating receiver, the polarization caused by rotating
occurring modulation is used for the guide beam display *.
und damit gleiche Modulation, also keine Seitenkennung herrscht.
Abb. 3 a zeigt die Vorderansicht.
1 a and 1 b, the principle of the arrangement in front view «and side view b is briefly outlined. The generator G feeds via the power line / the radiator (dipole) i, 2 located on the turntable D T0 . The radiation emanating from the dipole 1, 2 hits the mirrors S 1 , S 2 forming an angle with one another and is transferred by them into the Directions A and B reflected. Fig. 2 shows the resulting radiation diagram, which is still unsuitable for guide beam systems, since the same polarization speed and therefore the same modulation, i.e. no side identification, prevails on both sides. It will therefore be after. Fig. 3 a and 3 b from the generator G fed two radiators 3 and 4, which rotate at different speeds D n and D ri . The mirror assembly S 1 and S s is the same, but it is ensured that the radiation can reach substantially s from the radiator 3 only on the reflecting mirror S 1 and S 3 only. Fig. 3a shows the front view. In Fig. 3 b the plan is shown. The diagram sketched in Fig. 4 is now obtained with the modulations f Dn and fjg r2 as the side identifier. Either a fixed antenna of any polarization can now be used in the receiver or one that also rotates at approximately the speed D rt. In the first case, the frequencies f Drl and f Dr2 are obtained in the receiver, but the frequencies are obtained when the receiving antenna is rotated with D n

Otherwise, the beacon display takes place on the receiver in a manner known per se
after the intensity comparison. Of course, the idea of the invention is based on the cited
Examples not exhausted. So the arrangements could be made any other way,
z. B. so that the rotation of the polarization is effected electrically.
