Der Zapfen α des Sporns b trägt ein Schraubengewinde, welches sich in dem mit dem dazu gehörigem Muttergewinde versehenen Kasten c schraubt. Letzterer ist durch die beiden Schrauben d und d1 im Stiefelabsatz befestigt. Am oberen Theile des Sporns b, und zwar da, wo derselbe am Bügel e anschliefst, ist ein Schlitz / eingefräst; in diesen Schlitz / wird die Zunge g eingedrückt, sobald der Sporn fest angeschraubt ist.
