Abstract

Present state of the art: Infusions are frequently carried out in the clinical sector. The infusion tube is in this case connected directly to the catheter which is located in a vein. The infusion tube and the movement of the patient exert a load on the catheter, which load reduces its stability and can lead to vein inflammations. Invention: In order to avoid these disadvantages, the holding clasp is placed on the chosen part of the body (arm) and is secured with medical adhesive dressing. The infusion tube is connected to a small junction tube which is fixed into the holding clasp. A short junction tube is attached on the outlet side to the vein catheter. The applied catheter in this way remains stationary. All movements are taken up by the holding clasp. Operating is greatly facilitated. A three-way valve can also be used instead of the small junction tube. The holding clasp can be designed for one-off use or for repeated use.

Description

Derzeitiger Stand der TechnikCurrent state of the art

In the clinical area, infusions are common taken. The infusion tube is direct connected to the catheter located in a vein. Through the infusion tube and the movement of the Pa Patients are stressed on the catheter, which makes it durable shortened and can lead to phlebitis.

Erfindunginvention

To avoid the disadvantages, the retaining clip 1 is placed on the selected body part (arm) and fastened with medical adhesive tape. The infusion tube 4 is connected to a connecting tube 2 , which is fixed in the retaining clip. A short connection tube 3 to the venous catheter is attached to the exit side.

Dadurch bleibt der angesetzte Katheter in Ruhe. Alle Bewegungen werden von der Haltespange aufgenommen. Die Bedienung ist sehr erleichtert.This keeps the catheter in place. All Movements are absorbed by the retaining clip. Operation is very easy.

Instead of the connecting tube 2 , a three-way valve 5 can also be used.

The retaining clip can be used once or permanently be designed.

Claims (1)

Haltespange zur Venenkatheter-Entlastung bei Infusionen (Zeichnung Pos. 1), gekennzeichnet durch:
  • 1) die Haltespange nimmt schädigende Bewegungs einflüsse auf;
  • 2) sie wird einfach am Körper mit medizinischem Klebeband befestigt;
  • 3) die Handhabung ist einfach, weil Schläuche, Verbindungsröhrchen oder Dreiwegeventil vorher zusammengefügt und danach in der Haltespange fixiert werden können;
  • 5) mittels Dreiwegeventil für Infusion und Injek tion benutzt werden;
  • 6) bei Verwendung eines Dreiwegeventils ist jeg liche Bedienung durch den Abstand vom Körper, im Gegensatz zum bisher direkten Anschluß an den Katheter, besonders leicht;
Retaining clip for venous catheter relief during infusions (drawing item 1), characterized by :
  • 1) the retaining clip absorbs harmful movement influences;
  • 2) it is simply attached to the body with medical tape;
  • 3) handling is easy because hoses, connecting tubes or three-way valves can be assembled beforehand and then fixed in the retaining clip;
  • 4) it can be used for infusion using a connecting tube or
  • 5) can be used for infusion and injection by means of a three-way valve;
  • 6) when using a three-way valve any operation by the distance from the body, in contrast to the previously direct connection to the catheter, is particularly easy;
  • 7) it can be designed for single or long-term use.
