Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a closable fabric cover open on one side after the top Concept of claim 1.
The invention further relates to a device for production a closable fabric cover open on one side after the Preamble of claim 10.
The term "fabric cover" in the sense of the present invention includes any kind of sack-like covers open on one side, for example pillows, inlets, quilts, covers for everyone Art, especially pillowcases and duvet covers, and the like, the after the filling material has been introduced, for example one Down fill, can be closed permanently or openable.
Under the term "piping" each in introduced the seam gap between the two pieces of fabric and insert sewn in there are understood in the final state the fabric cover over the seam edge at least slightly protrudes outside and to achieve an aesthetically improved The overall impression optically covers the seam.
Generic fabric covers are usually "on the left" sewn. In other words, the two of them Parts of the fabric forming the shell initially with their final state visible outside are sewn together and so sewn cover is only turned or turned inside out afterwards.
When sewing together the two materials forming the cover will split into the gap between the fabric at the same time share tucked in or sewn in, whereby the edge of the pint pointing outwards in the final state points inside the fabric cover. The piping is with the known fabric covers from a single tuck tied, the length of which is essentially the sum of the seams to be sewn Edges, i.e. the entire edge length of the fabric cover Exception of the open side, corresponds.
These known fabric covers have after sewing and turning a completely aesthetically and functionally satisfactory seam run both in the area of the edges and in the area of the Corners of the fabric cover. Especially with regard to a rational and especially inexpensive industrial mas However, the known fabric covers have the after production Part of that at least in the area of the corners of the fabric cover this must be passed through the sewing machine by hand in order on the one hand securely closing the fabric cover and the Piping securely fastened and secondly an aesthetic to ensure a satisfactory clean seam course.
Furthermore, DE 33 26 783 C1 describes a method for sewing Inlets known "on the left", in which an inserted piping in the area of the corners of the inlet by means of a Scissors are cut so that they are then connected to a Swivel movement of the entire inlet around this corner easier guidance of the piping around the corner is made possible. However, this can only partially automate the Inlet production can be achieved.
Based on this state of the art, it is the task of present invention, a method and an apparatus for the production of a generic fabric cover, which is an inexpensive manufacture with a high achievable car Degree of matatisation with aesthetically satisfactory Also allow seam or piping to run in the corners like.
This task is accomplished by a procedure according to the teaching of Pa claim 1 and by a device according to the teaching of Pa claim 10 solved.
First of all, it is the basic idea of the present Invention, the handling of a generic fabric cover Simplify during the sewing process that in the opposite State of the art set around the corners of the fabric cover circumferential seams are provided, but only this still substantially linear along the edge areas of the The fabric cover runs. In other words, according to the invention is no longer sewn "around the corner", but only along the edges "in the corner". This alone is the handling overall considerably simplified and in particular an automa table production in a corresponding device (see Claim 10) enables.
But in spite of this angular butting of the seams and especially the angular course of the sewn piping in the corner area an aesthetically and functionally satisfying to maintain the correct seam and piping course, it is still a essential feature of the invention that the piping no longer is designed as a one-piece continuous piping band, son which consists of individual tuck sections, in number and length essentially to be closed or sewn corresponding edges of the fabric cover. In other words, the piping is no longer closed all around the Led corners of the fabric cover; rather, the bees are now only in the corners leads. It is crucial that the tucks sections in the area of the corners, in particular the corners, the face the open side of the fabric cover, not le only collide more or less obtuse, but overlap each other. This creates the corners in the turned final state of the envelope no gap at the closing collision of the tuck sections, but rather a round one ter edge course that is aesthetically and functionally essential chen corresponds to the rounded corner, which in one after the fabric covers produced as described above.
For use, for example filling with down or the like, the sewn fabric will eventually be finished "from left to right", the then during the Manufacture of the edge of the pip that points inside the fabric cover points outwards and be the respective fabric seam optically covers.
The term "piping" in the sense of the present invention includes basically all types of tucks, be it one Ribbon piping, a round piping or a cord piping, whereby usually both the flat piping and the round piping made of a multi-layer material with a corresponding molded insert consist. However, according to the invention, a Piping shaped like a piping with a beaded first Edge and flat second edge designed as a stitching area applies (claim 2). The advantage of this type of tuck lies above all in that on the one hand a branch through the bead-shaped edge satisfactory seam coverage is done and on the other due to the flat stitching area a safe and reliable Attach the piping in the gap between the two pieces of fabric is possible.
To ensure a tight fit of the piping on the edge of the fabric cover the tuck is preferably obtained directly on or off sewn at least slightly in the beaded edge of the piping (claim 3).
Vorzugs weise wird dabei diese Kettel- oder Sicherheitsnaht im wesent lichen gleichzeitig, das heißt in einem Arbeitsgang, mit der zugeordneten parallelen Biesennaht hergestellt (Anspruch 5).Basically, a single seam is sufficient to attach the respective tuck section and the closure of the side edges the fabric cover for the essence of the present invention. However, in order to fray the piping and / or the Avoiding fabric parts is according to a training the invention of the outer edge of the fabric cover together with the assigned second edge of the respective piping edged by an edge securing seam (claim 4). Preferential wise this seam or safety seam becomes essential lichen at the same time, that is, in one work step, with the associated parallel piping seam produced (claim 5).
Stoffhüllenkante einer Längskante, bezogen auf die Transportrichtung der endlosen Stoffbänder, insbesondere einer Webkante (Anspruch 7).Preferably both the first and the second Fabric part as well as the first piping or the first piping cut endlessly leads (claim 6) and brought into the appropriate sewing position. Here corresponds in particular to the first, that is to say only to be sewn Pint or fabric cover edge of a longitudinal edge, based on the direction of transport of the endless fabric belts, in particular a selvedge (claim 7).
After positioning the two pieces of fabric and the endless The tuck and the fabric parts are introduced into the tuck also sewn endlessly. Before preferably the ones that form the fabric cover are then Fabric parts after sewing the he Most edge of the beast essentially transverse to this edge of the beast to the desired size, according to the width of the finished Fabric cover, cut off (claim 8).
According to a further development of the invention the closed on one side and with the first tuck section fabric cover essentially chen transverse to the longitudinal direction of the endless fabric tapes and thus transported transversely to the first seam, while doing so the two other bees edges at the same time essentially transversely to the first edge of the bees and to the feed direction processing of the endless strips of fabric along the cut edges of the Fabric cover are sewn (claim 9).
The for the overlapping arrangement of the tuck sections in the loading rich in the corners of the fabric cover necessary incisions in egg nes of the fabric parts along or parallel to the first seam from both side edges of the fabric cover are in a further development of the device according to claim 10 over one each in the gap between the two pieces of fabric ra knife made, in the area of each side edge such knife is arranged (claim 12). It is basically enough from that the knife only in the gap between the fabric if the incision is to be made, the means when the corners reach the area of the knives.
However, the knives preferably protrude by the amount of the Tuck width rigidly corresponding to the corresponding cutting length in the gap between the fabric parts and are arranged that when transporting the fabric cover against the knife the one bring the cuts automatically when the first bie seam runs against the knife edges (claim 13).
Es zeigtIn the following the invention is only based on execution examples showing drawings explained in more detail. It shows

Fig. 6 also shows a schematic representation of the United procedure in the sewing transfer line of FIG. 5 when sewing a corner with a corresponding pintuck overlap in a fabric cover of the invention.
In Fig. 1, a pintle seam is first shown in cross section in the turned final state of a fabric cover, as used both in the known fabric covers and in the fabric cover according to the invention. The fabric envelope 9 , which is only indicated schematically, has two fabric parts 1 and 2 , which are sewn together in their edge region with a piping 3 being interposed by means of a piping seam 7 .
The piping 3 is shaped like a piping, consists essentially of a longitudinally folded band and has a bead-shaped first edge 4 , which is formed by a fibrous insert, and a flat stitching edge 5 , which projects into the gap between the fabric parts 1 , 2 . The piping 3 is arranged and fastened by means of the piping seam 7 that the bead-shaped edge 4 optically covers the seam from the outside and the flat binding edge 5 in the fabric cover 9 with the edge of the fabric parts 1 , 2 completes.
During manufacture, the fabric cover 9 is in the unturned state, as can be seen for example from FIG. 2. The fabric parts 1 , 2 , of which only the upper fabric part 1 can be seen in the illustration according to FIG. 2, are placed and sewn directly on top of one another with the tuck-in sections 3 ', 3 ''and 3 '''. The Biesenanord voltage corresponds in cross section to the illustration of FIG. 1, but the fabric parts 1 and 2 are folded to the left, so that the stitched edge 8 faces outwards and the beaded piping edge 4 protrudes into the interior of the fabric cover 9 .
As can also be seen from the illustration in FIG. 2 and in particular the illustration in FIG. 3, the tuck sections 3 'and 3 ''' or 3 'and 3 ''overlap in the corners 10 and 11 of the fabric cover 9 , wherein the tuck sections 3 '' and 3 '''overlap the tuck section 3 '. This is explained in more detail below using the example of corner 11 , which is shown in cross section in FIG. 3.
As the illustration in FIG refer 3., An overlap of the Biesenabschnitte 3 'and 3' 'in the corner 11 is only possible if the Biesenabschnitt 3' 'from the Nähspalt Zvi rule the fabric parts 1, is led out. 2 For this purpose, the upper fabric part 1 has an incision 12 which extends from the edge of the fabric cover 9 by substantially the entire width of the piping section 3 '' into the fabric part 1 along the bead-shaped edge 4 of the piping 3 'and parallel to the piping edge. Through this incision 12 , the Biesenab section 3 '' is guided upwards and overlaps the first piping section 3 'with the interposition of section 1 ' of the upper fabric part 1 and is sewn to it. The corner 10 is formed in an analogous manner.
After turning the fabric cover 9 results in the area of the 5 corners 10 and 11, a corner design, as can be seen from the presen- tation according to FIG. 4 using the example of corner 10 . Due to the overlap, a rounded corner with a quasi-continuous tuck pattern is created, which in aesthetic and functional terms essentially corresponds to the tuck corner sewn by hand.
In Fig. 5 a Nähtransferstraße 13 is shown for performing the method according to the invention. The fabric parts 1 and 2 are rolled as endless webs of feed, not shown, into the system so that the webs are arranged one above the other while leaving a gap. The trans port of the panels into the system takes place via a device 15, which is only indicated schematically. The direction of transport of the fabric parts 1 , 2 through the system is indicated by the arrows.
About a first feed device 14 , a first tuck band 3 'is also endlessly placed in the gap between the fabric in the region of the edge 16 and immediately sewn endlessly during transport through the system by means of the sewing machine 20 . After reaching the first end position, which is defined by the position of the edge 17 shown, the superimposed and sewn with the piping 3 'fabric strips are cut by a separating device 18 to the desired width of the fabric cover 9 .
About a second also only schematically indicated transport device 19 , the now closed on one side be already closed material envelope 9 is conveyed substantially transversely to the previous transport direction. About feeder lines 21 and 22 , tuck sections 3 '' and 3 '''are inserted into the gap between the fabric parts 1 , 2 of the fabric cover 9 and there immediately during further transport by the sewing machines 23 and 24 with simultaneous closure of the side edges of the Fabric cover 9 sewn.
After the passage of the fabric cover 9 along its entire edge length through the sewing stations 23 and 24 , the finished fabric cover 9 is released from the production system and, for example, fed to a stacking or packaging machine, not shown.
The sewing of the tuck edges in the system described above in the area of the corners is explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 6a to d.
In Fig. 6a, the phase of the introduction of the endless piping tape 3 '' is shown by the feed device 22 in the region of the edge of the fabric cover 9 . Immediately after inserting the piping tape 3 '' this is sewn together with the associated edge areas of the fabric parts 1 and 2 via the sewing machine 23 and cleaned in the edge area by a cutting device 25 .
The feed device 22 for the piping tape 3 '' has at its front against the direction indicated by an arrow Tran sports direction of the fabric cover 9 arranged on a fixed knife 26 protruding by the amount of the piping width into the gap between the fabric parts 1 and 2 . In the phase shown in Fig. 6a, however, the fabric parts slide over or under, so that the knife has no effect in this phase.
As the diagram of Figure 6b can be seen. Abuts during further transport of the fabric sleeve 9, the blade 26 at the first Biesennaht 3 'if the end of the fabric sleeve 9 is reached. Due to a slight upward adjustment of the knife 26 takes place automatically during further transport, the introduction of a cut open to the side edge 12 ent long the first seam 3 'and by means of the Zuführeinrich device 22 or the front edge of the tuck band 3 '' through the incision 12 from the gap between the fabric parts 1 and 2 (see also Fig. 6c) with overlap of the piping tape 3 'in the area of the corner 11th
Finally, the piping tape 3 '' or 3 'is sewn and cut from the corner 11 by the sewing machine 23 .
