Abstract
Description
When operating railway lines it is for an undisturbed operation processing always required to carry out work in the track area to lead. It is particularly important for the health integrity The work columns are critical to the site Approaching railway vehicles are reported in good time.
For this purpose it is known that this task is usually a Security guard takes over, the approaching one working on sight Railway vehicles recognize the work and with a bugle column warns and shows with hand signals whether and on which The train is approaching and if and in which direction the work track is closing is left.
Because, despite this item, working columns of trains repeatedly caught procedures and technical devices have been developed and used, which are able to automatically train vehicles recognize and report who are approaching the location of the work column. These systems work with rail contacts and track circles for detection the wheels of these approaching vehicles and are via cable or radio connected to an evaluation device, which in turn is acoustically and activates optically warning detectors.
With these methods, however, it is disadvantageous that the detection and further Management of a train report, a variety of technical facilities incl. whose cabling is required, their structure, function test and Commissioning is very complex. For construction sites to be set up at short notice, Hiking construction sites or briefly necessary entry into the track area the construction of such systems is not possible or not in terms of effort justifiable.
The invention is based on the object of overcoming these disadvantages and to specify a procedure in which a safe automatic and continuous monitoring of the rails for vehicle noise is possible, the procedure meets the safety requirements required in rail operations is sufficient and the facilities necessary for the application of the procedure in can be assembled and disassembled, checked and commissioned in the shortest possible time.
This object is achieved by a method which has the method steps listed in claim 1. These procedural steps provide for a structure-borne noise signal to be fed into the two railroad tracks of a track ( 11 , 12 ) and possibly also into the rails of the neighboring track and to be coupled out again at the end of a defined route, i.e. at the site of the construction team ( 4 ), and in an evaluation unit ( 8 ) save and evaluate the signals. The structure-borne noise pulses generated by a vehicle that approaches the track section monitored in this way and fed into the rails are also decoupled at the location ( 4 ) to be secured and transmitted to the evaluation unit ( 8 ).
The evaluation unit assesses the degree of superimposition of the fed-in standard signal by the vehicle signal and uses this to derive the vehicle distance and, if necessary, its speed, and forwards a corresponding electrical warning telegram to the alarm detectors ( 9 ).
This method thus enables several, from vehicle distance and Speed-dependent warning levels, on the one hand, a maximum Safety, on the other hand, offer maximum utilization of the train breaks.
A device ( 15 ) is provided for bridging rail insulation, provisional rail screw connections, which represent an interruption of structure-borne noise, as well as for bypassing switches or for merging signals from several tracks, which detects, regenerates and stores all signals that are transmitted by the rail can feed back into the rail after the fault point (s).
For system and site monitoring, an alert function can additionally be provided, which requires an acknowledgment of each message and fault by a marshal ( 10 ). From this point, additional alarms that are necessary for handling construction site traffic can also be triggered. System monitoring is ensured by monitoring the structure-borne noise signals that are constantly arriving at the evaluation unit ( 8 ). The system duplication requirement, if any, to achieve signal safety is already met in the system design by monitoring both tracks of a track.
The forwarding of the clock signals of the ultrasound sources via the evaluation unit ( 8 ) to the alarm detectors ( 9 ) and / or the direct connection of the alarm detectors to the rails for decoupling and evaluating the clocks in the alarm detectors ensures comprehensive monitoring of the overall system.
Particular features of the method are specified in the subclaims. which characterize a more specific use of the method.
