Es sind bereits Riemenverbinder bekannt, die aus zwei eine Gelenkkugel pfannenartig umfassenden Bügeln bestehen. Die vorliegende Erfindung unterscheidet sich hiervon dadurch, daß in der Befestigungslasche des einen Bügels ein zum Durchstecken der entsprechenden Lasche des anderen Bügels dienender, durch eine Zunge verschließbarer Schlitz angeordnet ist, während die anderen Laschen der beiden Bügel sich an den Abzweigsteilen von den Gelenkpfannen seitlich kreuzen. Der Riemenverbinder besteht aus den beiden Bügeln a, b und der Gelenkkugel c. Die beiden Bügel a, b bestehen aus Stahlblech o. dgl. und werden an den zu verbindenden Riemenenden z. B. durch Schrauben d befestigt. Ihre Schenkel sind an der Innenseite gerauht oder gerieft. Die Gelenkkugel c ao ist eine glasharte, geschliffene und polierte Kugel, die von den pfannenartig ausgebildeten Teilen g, h der Bügel a, b so weit umfaßt wird, daß die Bügel noch genügende Bewegungsfreiheit haben.The belt connector consists of the two brackets a, b and the joint ball c.
