Description
The invention relates to a sound reproduction device according to the Preamble of claim 1.
Most stereo sound players must be listening with headphones, as you know, the volume on one Main unit.
Even if the headphones themselves have a volume control is known, the volume control of the Main unit operated separately when the volume on Main unit is smallest, and the main network will not from the headphones, but operated separately by hand.
From the magazine "Funkschau", 1987, Issue 9, page 72, a stereo headphone is known, in the connecting cable separate level controls for adjusting the volume and a switch for mono / stereo playback are attached.
Furthermore, DE 31 23 793 A1 describes stereo headphones known, in the connecting cable a switch is provided, which causes signal attenuation.
From J. Neils: "HiFi remotely controllable" in Funkschau, 1981, Booklet 15, pages 55-57 is the action of switches or actuators using wireless remote control the sound player to which headphones are connected is known.
From US-PS 44 35 844 is a remote control circuit known, along with a car radio as the main unit a booster amplifier can be switched on as an additional device is. This happens without additional switch contacts, controlled only by the operating current of the main unit, but with no in the power supply of the main unit significant voltage drop should arise. This succeeds with the help of an LC oscillator, whose coil with is provided with a low-resistance damping winding. The operating current flowing through this winding Tear off vibrations, which was used as a switch-on criterion becomes.
Finally, it is also per se from US 43 23 787 known to use switching contacts and switching transistors, to switch operating voltages on or off, and US 44 33 209 describes how compounds for Sound signals are to be activated or deactivated.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a sound reproduction device to create that in a simple way Power and volume from stereo headphones are remotely controllable.
This task is performed on a sound player the preamble of claim 1 according to the invention by those contained in its characteristic part Features solved.
The sound reproduction device according to the invention thus has one additional (fourth) connection contact for a headphone over which the power supply and the volume of a Main unit are controllable. This fulfills this function Remote control circuit is arranged in the connection cable of the headphones; it controls a power supply switching unit and a circuit for disabling the speaker potentiometers in the main unit.

The remote control receiver circuit comprises egg ne with the jack plug JACK connectable socket 200 , the contacts a ', b' are each connected via a coil L 2 , L 3 to one of the main amplifiers 210, 220 , adjustable volume potentiometer VR 3 , VR 4 for left and right sound signals, switching transistors Q 1 , Q 2 , via the switching paths of the ground connection of the potentiometer VR 3 , VR 4 to ground, a battery 230 connected to a DC power supply terminal 240 and transistors Q 3 , Q 4 for switching the DC voltage supply of the main unit. The base electrodes of the transistors Q 1 , Q 2 are connected to the battery via resistors R 2 , R 3 . The terminal or the contact c 'of the socket 200 is connected to the base of the transistor Q 4 for controlling the power supply, while the contact d' is connected to ground via a coil L 1 .
Fig. 2 illustrates schematically a pair of headphones 100 with a four-pole jack. The remote control unit 110 consists of a volume control, the switch SW 1 and a light-emitting diode 111 for indicating the on / off state of the operating voltage source.
The operation of the circuit is explained below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
If the main unit is to be operated remotely, the switch SW 2 is placed in the remote control position R.
Demzufolge liegt die Betriebsspannung B+ nicht am Hauptgerät an.The supply voltage supplied by the battery 230 or the connection terminal 240 is applied to the collector of the transistor Q 3 and the emitter of the transistor Q 4 . When the node A 4 connected to the base of the transistor Q 4 is at a high voltage, the transistor Q 4 is in the blocking state. If the base of the transistor Q 3 carries a low voltage, this transistor blocks. As a result, the operating voltage B + is not present on the main unit.
When the switch SW 1 on the headphones 100 is closed, the high voltage at the switching point A is grounded via the contact c of the plug socket and the switch SW 1 . At the base of Tran sistor Q 4 is therefore a low voltage, so that the transistor Q 4 turns on.
Since transistor Q 4 is turned on, a high voltage is present at the base of transistor Q 3 . As a result, since transistor Q 3 also turns on, the main unit is normally supplied with current.
On the other hand, if the switch SW 1 is closed and the operating voltage B + is fed to the main unit, the voltage at the switching point A is low; as a result, there is a low potential at the base electrodes of the transistors Q 1 , Q 2 , so that the latter block.
In the case of blocking transistors Q 1 , Q 2 , the volume is set by means of the external potentiometers VR 1 , VR 2 for volume control, bypassing the potentiometers VR 3 , VR 4 provided in the main unit for volume control. These potentiometers VR 1 , VR 2 are operated as follows:
When the transistor Q blocks 1 of FIG. 3, the impedance of the transistor Q 1 is greatest, so that the input signal of the main amplifier becomes as it is, and output while bypassing the potentiometer VR 3. The reason why the impedance with the blocking transistor Q 1 is infinite is that the resistance value (z. B. about 10 kΩ) of the potentiometer VR 3 compared to the impedance of the transistor Q 1 is negligible. On the other hand, it works the transistor Q 2 and the potentiometer VR 4 in the same way.
As a result, the main unit can be supplied with current or voltage by actuating the switch SW 1 , and the volume can be set by the volume potentiometers VR 1 , VR 2 provided in the headphones, bypassing the volume potentiometer VR 3 , VR 4 .
If the main unit is to be operated in normal operation, the switch SW 2 is switched to the normal position. When switch SW 2 is closed, the main unit is powered by bypassing switch SW 1 ; when the switch SW 1 is open, the transistors switch Q 1 , Q 2 through because the high potential of contact a is applied to the base electrodes of the transistors Q 1 , Q 2 . The volume control of the left and right sound signals 250 and 251 takes place via the volume potentiometers VR 3 , VR 4 arranged in the main unit.
The invention is not just a pocket stereo sound device, but also on a Broadcast receiver / cassette player combination applicable.
