Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for determining the Compression levels on a suspension cushioned by air bellows and motor vehicle damped via shock absorbers, in particular Commercial vehicle, the actual value of the spring level by Sen sensors determined and for evaluation to subordinate On directions is forwarded.
With air-sprung motor vehicles has so far been used mechanical tap between the vehicle frame and the axle Spring level determined and in corresponding control signals set. These sensors effecting the mechanical tap have the disadvantage that, for example, due to a deficiency maintenance or damage the level of the vehicle body compared to the road is set. In addition, these known, mechanical installed between axle and vehicle body A certain installation space; moreover, these are mecha African encoder relatively expensive. To avoid Damage has also been used for external shields this enabler provided what an additional increase in price represents.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device to realize the type mentioned at the outset by such means, which are practically maintenance-free and not damaging when driving digig are.
This object is achieved in a device of the generic type by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1 .
The basic idea according to the invention is to damage the susceptible, between or next to a shock absorber fer or associated air spring arranged mechanical Ni to replace veaugeber that the actual value acquisition for deflection of the vehicle into the shock absorbers is laid. That is, for recording the actual value of the deflection of the vehicle frame with respect to the axle are according to the invention Sensor shock absorbers provided, both of which are ge moving parts with corresponding sensor parts equipped or prepared as sensor parts, which correspond to the relative movements of the two shock absorber parts appropriate, according to known, reproducible characteristic hanging or ideally proportional electrical signals produce. These signals become an operationally optimized on position of the spring level and, if necessary, further Ver evaluation in the vehicle and appropriate setup fed. By housing the sensor parts inside a shock absorber, these are good on the outside protected and therefore practically not damaged. Furthermore is always safe with this type of accommodation Function of a sensor ensured. To the shock absorber sharing are relatively minor measures for attaching sensor parts necessary. These measures are in each the case significantly less expensive than providing one external encoder of known construction.
Advantageous details of the solution according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.
Nachstehend ist die erfindungsgemäße Lösung anhand der Zeichnung noch näher erläutert. ln der Zeichnung zeigen:Below is the solution according to the invention based on the Drawing explained in more detail. In the drawing:
Fig. 1 weitestgehend schematisiert die erfindungsge mäße Vorrichtung sowie nachgeordnete Einrich tungen zur Signalverarbeitung im Prinzip, Fig. 1 as far as possible the erfindungsge Permitted device and downstream Einrich schematically obligations for signal processing, in principle,
Fig. 2, 3, 4, depending largely schematic form, an embodiment of the inventive device.
In Fig. 1 are indicated schematically with 1 the structure and 2 with the chassis of an air-sprung motor vehicle. In between, the Luftfe derbälge 3 and associated shock absorbers 4th Each shock absorber consists of two mutually movable parts 4/1 , 4/2 , of which one ( 4/1 ) is articulated on the body and the other ( 4/2 ) on the chassis. With a device for determining the compression level, its respective actual value is determined by special sensors and forwarded to downstream devices for evaluation. In general, shock absorbers, ie shock absorbers, are used for the actual value acquisition of the deflection, that is, shock absorbers, both of which are movable parts 4/1 , 4/2, are equipped with corresponding sensor parts 5/1 and 5/2 . These sensor parts generate the relative movements of the two shock absorber parts 4/1 , 4/2 a clearly corresponding, ideally proportional electrical signals that are used to optimize the operation of the spring level between body 1 and chassis 2 and, if necessary, further utilization in the motor vehicle and supplied to appropriate devices will.
The measurement signals ascertained by the sensor parts 5/1 , 5/2 are fed to a measurement signal processing device 6 , there they are appropriately processed for further use and supplied to ordered devices 7 , 8 . The device 7 is an electronic control device which, among other things, serves to control the organs which set the air spring level. For this purpose, it gives corresponding control commands to the level control device designated 9 , which on the air side, on the one hand, supplies compressed air with a compressor 10 and compressed air container 11 and, on the other hand, is connected to the air bellows 3 .
For the measurement signal generation, various methods are possible, four of which are shown in the drawing, namely a capacitive sensor for the shock absorber in FIG. 2, an inductive sensor for the shock absorber in FIG. 3 and an incremental sensor for the shock absorber in FIG. 4 and one Magnetic sensing of the shock absorbers in Fig. 5.
The capacitively sensed shock absorber 4 shown in FIG. 2 is partially as a cylindrical capacitor of the capacitance C 1 with mutually insulated, mutually axially displaceable ver and arranged on one of the mutually moveable ren shock absorber parts 4/1 , 4/2 electrodes 12 , 13 educated. With 14 , an insulator is referred to, which isolates the outer tubular electrode 13 against the shock absorber part 4/1 . At 15 , an outer shielding tube is characterized, which protects the sensed area of the shock absorber against external influences and is installed in the outer shock absorber part 4/2 . This in the shock absorber 4 a built-in cylindrical capacitor C 1 forms in series with a Pa parallel circuit of a coil L and a capacitor of the capacitance C 2 an oscillator L ( C 1 + C 2 ).
The oscillation frequency of this oscillator is dependent on the capacitance change of C 1 according to a known formula of the mutual displacement of the tubular electrodes 12 , 13 of the cylinder capacitor. These oscillation frequency changes are implemented as path-representative signals in the connected electronic measurement signal processing device 6 and fed to downstream devices. This is a frequency-voltage converter 16 to which the driver is connected to the display device 17 displaying the measurement result, and the control device 7 with a pulse counter 18 and an on-board computer 19 to which a data output station 20 with display and the level control device 9 are connected.
In the inductively sensed shock absorber shown in Fig. 3, the one shock absorber tube 4/1 is provided with a sensor part 21 acting as a plunger, which lead through its A into the other, provided with integrated coils 22 other shock absorber tube 4/2, the electrical symmetry this coil arrangement connected as a differential transformer is detuned in proportion to the immersion depth. This Spulenanord voltage 22 is connected to a carrier frequency bridge amplifier 23 which at the beginning of its measuring operation is adjusted to the output voltage "0" and its input circuit is detuned during operation by mutual movement of the two shock absorber parts 4/1 , 4/2 . This detuning of the carrier frequency bridge amplifier 23 is fed as a proportional frequency change to a demodulator 24 and is to be tapped as a proportional proportional measuring signal. This measurement signal is then fed to an analog-digital converter 25 and processed there for further processing in the same facilities as shown in FIG. 2, namely an on-board computer 19 on which a data output station 20 with display and the level regulating device 9 of Motor vehicle are connected.
In the illustrated in Fig. 4 incremental sensorierten shock absorber 4 which carries a shock absorber tube, for example 4/2, incremental a structured or coded sensor element 26 which, correspondingly matched second sensor element arranged on the other by a shock absorber tube is sampled 4/1 27th The incrementally structured or coded sensor element 26 can be a bar with ferromagnetic screening which is scanned by a correspondingly adapted magnetically sensitive sensor element 27 . As an alternative to this, the incrementally structured or coded element 26 can be a bar with an optical grid plate, which is scanned by a correspondingly adapted, optically sensitive sensor element 27 . The Wegin formation about mutual movement of the two shock absorber tubes 4/1 , 4/2 is depending on the embodiment of the two sensor parts 26 , 27 either by counting the sensor pulses or by evaluating the position code in the connected electronic measurement signal processing device 6 ge and directly in Signals implemented, which, as in the cases according to FIGS. 2 and 3, are fed to an on-board computer 19 for further processing, to which a data output station 20 with display and the level control device 9 of the motor vehicle are also connected in this case.
In the magnetically sensored shock absorber 4 shown in FIG. 5, the one shock absorber tube, for example 4/1, carries a rod-shaped magnetic sensor element 28 and the other shock absorber tube 4/2 is equipped with an annular permanent magnet 29 . To measure the distance, a magnetic circuit is used here, which results from the relative position of the permanent magnet 29 functioning as a walking magnet to a coil in the rod-shaped sensor element 28 . By immersed in the movement of the shock absorber parts of the sensor element 28 in the ring-shaped permanent magnet 29 , a path-proportional output signal is thus generated due to the detuning of the magnetic circuit. The output signal of this arrangement, which acts as a permanent-magnetic, linear, non-contact displacement sensor (PLCD sensor), is also processed here in a downstream electronic measuring signal processing device 6 and converted into signals which, as in the cases of FIGS. 2 to 4, are provided by an on-board computer 19 for further processing, to which a data output station 20 with display and the level control device 9 of the motor vehicle are also connected in this case.
In general, an actual value / setpoint comparison is carried out in the on-board computer 19 of the electronic control device 7 with the path-representative signals supplied. The setpoint is based on vehicle-specific data and is written into the on-board computer. If a deviation of the actual value from the target value is determined and the on-board computer recognizes the need for level readjustment between body 1 and chassis 2 , then it issues a signal to the downstream level control device 9 for a corresponding raising or lowering of the vehicle body by ventilating or venting Air bellows 3 from.
In an advantageous manner, however, it is also possible to use the movements of the two shock absorber parts 4/1 , 4/2 to keep the measurement signals not only with regard to the path, but also with regard to their frequency, size, cycle sequence and duration with appropriate devices and not only to be used for level regulation, but also for other purposes and to be supplied to appropriate processing facilities. These devices can be corresponding display devices which display the other measured variables measured, a device for speed control, a device for influencing the shock absorber characteristic and the like.
If, for example, when traveling a very poor route, an excessive vibration amplitude and / or an excessive vibration frequency between body 1 and chassis 2 is determined, this fact can be counteracted by, for example, giving a command to a device from the on-board computer the damper characteristics of the shock absorber are changed accordingly and / or a signal is output to reduce the driving speed, the latter signal having an influence on the metering of fuel to the drive motor of the motor vehicle and possibly the transmission setting. The driver is then shown these automatic influences on the dashboard accordingly. All of these additional functions are combined, referring to FIG. 1, in the devices 8 indicated only schematically there.
