Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for a pause search according to the preamble of the claim.
It is state of the art that cassette recorders (CR) with a pause search are equipped, that is with a facility for that with something on the tape head and with fast forward or rewind recognizes a break in modulation on the belt and the belt drive stops or automatically switches to PLAY mode when the pause is longer than usually three seconds.
Dazu folgen zwei Beispiele:Here are two examples:
- 1. Normale Situation zwischen zwei Aufzeichnungen (Modulation);1. Normal situation between two recordings (modulation);
- 2. lange Pause vor der ersten Aufzeichnung (Modulation).2nd long pause before the first recording (modulation).
This known pause search device and the one on which it is based Process does not work satisfactorily after long breaks or at the beginning of the tape after a long opening.
It was the object underlying the invention to remedy this deficiency.
The solution to this problem is provided by an improved process for the Pause search achieved according to the features listed in the claim.
Further details are in the following description of an exemplary Circuit to carry out the method.
According to the invention, it advantageously follows that the pause search device not only as is known when breaks occur stops, but also stops the tape drive when modulation occurs, thus a recording begins, provided that there is no modulation on the tape when the search is started and the modulation pause takes longer than ten seconds, for example. This is the case when a new recording section, e.g. B. a piece of music after a long break or at the beginning of the band after a long opening begins.
An example of a timing diagram is shown below: Long pause before the first piece of music.
Beschreibung des verbesserten Verfahrens an dem in der Zeichnung dargestellten Schaltungsbeispiel:Description of the improved method on that shown in the drawing Circuit example:
The modulation recorded in the sound head 1 is amplified by the amplifier 2 to such an extent that it can be evaluated by the rectifier and limiter 3 . The time constant of the RC element 4 is designed so that it corresponds to about three seconds in PLAY mode. Comparator 5 now provides a digital signal that indicates whether there is a pause in modulation of more than three seconds in PLAY mode. The flip-flop 6 stores the search pulse.
If the pause search is started during a modulation, the output Q ' goes from flip-flop 7 to LOW; now comes a pause that is longer than the time constant of the RC element 4 , then the output Q ' goes HIGH and the monoflop 8 , which is positively edge-controlled, emits a pause search stop pulse, which is also the pause search flip -flop 6 resets.
If the pause search is started in a modulation pause, then the output Q 'of the flip-flop 7 is HIGH, the idle state. If a modulation now takes place within the time of the timer 10 , approximately ten seconds of the PLAY mode, the circuit operates as previously described. However, if no modulation follows, the output of the timing element 10 tilts to HIGH and inverts the pause search signal using the EXOR gate 9 . As soon as a modulation occurs, the pause search stop signal is given.
