Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a suction belt conveyor according to the preamble of claim 1.
Suction belt conveyors can be found when conveying sheet or tabular Material such as cardboard, fiberboard, sheet metal or veneer sheets Use. A characteristic property of the suction belt conveyor is that that the conveyed material is attached from below or thrown down unhindered can be. Therefore, these sponsors - although they are because of the high demand Suction power are relatively expensive in operation - preferably used for special tasks, for which this property has advantages: for placing on stacks, for sorting out different sheet widths or defective sheets or the like, for loading of conveyor belts.
Most known suction belt conveyors essentially consist from a fixed suction box, which is evenly distributed over its entire underside distributed, closely spaced openings is provided, and from circumferential, perforated or unperforated belts, ribbons or the like, their lower strands touch the underside of the suction box. The negative pressure created by means of a Fan is generated in the suction box, the boards, sheets to be conveyed or the like held on the underside of the suction box while they are through the Move the belt.
The large-area distribution of the suction effect makes it difficult for faster Cycle sequence e.g. with forklifts the laying down of the boards because of the holding effect of the To interrupt suction air, there must be outside air from the edges of the board to the center of the board advance? which requires a noticeable amount of time in the case of large panels. Further disadvantages occur especially when conveying veneer. They are due to the fact that Veneer has only a low inherent rigidity, especially when it is moist In addition, due to its inhomogeneous structure, it tends to un geliform ellen or To form bumps and sometimes vo: everything on the edges or at least on the Rolling up corners: It therefore does not lie smoothly against the straps. That can b too Weak suction power lead to the veneer sheet falling down, with stronger suction Suction power to damage from creasing and clicking.
AS 12 52 139, which understood a suction belt conveyor in the whether describes specified genus in connection with a veneer stacking device, tries to solve the problems described, among other things, that the Sdugkaster only along a narrow strip on one side immediately next to the lower strands the belt has suction openings. D by the air requirement is reduced, and the Suction zone w'r limited to relatively narrow areas in which a sufficient holding force exercised on the Furnlerblatt. is subjected to strong constraints without the veneer sheet will. The veneer sheet is also thrown off, i.e. its release from the 5 effect facilitated by the fact that the pressure equalization is brought about in these narrow zones must become. However, additional slides are provided through which the c openings are bindable with the atmosphere or with a pressure source.
The invention is based on the object of a suction conveyor to create the type specified at the beginning, which requires an even lower suction power, an easier discard enables and / or in the case of veneer sheets and the like flexible, flat goods have an alctive smoothing effect during conveyance exercises.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the patent claim 1 solved. The particular advantages result from the following description some embodiments.
In claims 2 and 3, there are two alternative embodiments specified, in which the belts also serve to seal the grooves on the sides. The embodiment according to claim 2 is generally preferred.
The embodiment according to claim 4 is provided for the case that the conveyor route is greater than the length of the individual panels, sheets or Leaves.
Claim 5 is concerned with an embodiment of the invention also the automatic lifting of the lateral edge areas of the sheets to be conveyed or the like allows.
The claims 6 to 9 indicate arrangements in which the special Advantages of the suction belt conveyor according to the invention, which come into play.
The drawing serves to explain the invention with reference to schematically illustrated embodiments.

As can be seen from Figures 1 and 2, a plate 1, e.g. thick chipboard with three longitudinal grooves 2 on the underside. The grooves 2 go on the feed side, i.e. on the left in the drawing, not as far as the plate space by; so they are blocked on this side. The grooves run on the other side through to the plate edge and are open. In the spaces between the grooves 2, the Ur underside of the plate 1 is smooth and free of openings.
On both sides, next to each groove 2, the lower strands run from endless belts 3 in the direction of arrow 4. The belt 3 was close to the underside during operation of plate 1. The associated upper runs and pulleys are not shown in FIG put there; they can be seen, for example, from FIG.
dem Zwischenraum zwischen den beiden einer Nut 2 zugeordnetf Riemen ist an der Aufgabeseite zwischen dem Plattenrand und dem Anfang der Nut 2 eine Leiste 5 auf der Unterseite der Platte 1 angebracht, die etwa so dick ist wie die Riemen 3.the space between the two belts assigned to a groove 2 is a bar on the feed side between the edge of the plate and the beginning of the groove 2 5 attached to the underside of the plate 1, which is about as thick as the straps 3.
On top of the plate 1 sits a continuous in the transverse direction Box 6 cash registers 6, which is connected via a piece of pipe 7 to the Sauq side of a radial fan 8 is connected. The inside: the box 6 is through suction openings 9 with the individual Grooves 2 connected. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, there is only one for each groove 2 single suction opening 9 provided, which is on the feed side close to the beginning of the Slot 2 is located.
This is followed by a longer one of suction openings in the transport direction free route.
The suction openings 9 are circular or slit-shaped. Essential is that their dimension in the longitudinal direction of the grooves 2 is very small in comparison the length of the grooves 2.
To illustrate the operation of the device is shown in FIG 1 under the belt 3 the front edge of a veneer sheet 10 in several successive steps Points in time indicated. The reference symbols 10a to 10d thus designate snapshots one and the same veneer sheet for different times. The length of the veneer sheet 10, i.e. its extension in the direction of transport, is approximately equal to the length the plate 1. The veneer sheet 10 is manually or with the help of any, Trarsport organ not belonging to the invention in the direction of arrow 4 the suction belt conveyor and comes first with its rolled up front edge under the suction openings 9 in the area of action of the suction air. First of all, the unrolled, somewhat flat part of the veneer sheet close to the belt 3, and the veneer sheet will be taken. As a result of the further movement of the veneer sheet 10, an increasing Part of the groove 2 covered by the veneer sheet 10, so that a longer and longer developing canal, which is only open at its front end, but at the Long sides by the belt 3 and at its feed-side end by the strips 5 is sealed. As a result, the sucked in air is forced to take a detour: it flows, as indicated by arrow 11, through the covered groove 2 against the Movement of the veneer sheet 10 to the suction opening 9. The negative pressure builds up So through the groove 2 from the suction opening 9 to the respective position of the anlieor $ e '% kan) e of the veneer sheet 10 continued. on this particular way is the The leading edge is exposed to a steady, so-to-speak concurrent suction effect, which the Tend has to straighten the curled edge. This is in Figure in four consecutive Phases 10a to 10d illustrated. When the rear edge of the veneer sheet 10 the sow openings 9 has passed, the suction stops suddenly along the entire length on, and the veneer sheet can be ejected in a simple manner or e.g. a belt dryer The embodiment according to FIG. 3 differs from the previous one described device in that along the groove 2 at regular intervals several suction openings 9 vs are seen, all with the inside of the iSaugRastens 6a i connection, which in this case extends over the entire length of the plate la extends. This embodiment is suitable for the transport of panels, Arches, sheets of the like, the length of which is much smaller than the length of the conveyor line. The distance between two ben barten suction openings 9 of a groove is smaller than the smallest table or sheet length that occurs, but in any case large in comparison to the diameter of a single suction opening. In other words, Da means that Each individual satellite opening has a longer distance free of suction openings connects in the transport direction.
In diesem Fa fehlen naturgemäß die in Zusammenhang mit den Figuren 1 u erwähnten Leisten 5.As illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, the be laterally the groove 2 running belt 3 also by its own wide, the groove and their Edge strips covering R 12 are replaced in its middle area with di adjacent holes 13 is provided. This Fa naturally lacks them strips 5 mentioned in connection with FIGS. 1 u.
The suction belt conveyor shown in FIG. 1 is shown in FIGS including the pulleys 13, 14 and the upper run of the belt 3 can be seen. The feed-side pulley 13 is at a greater distance from the edge of the Plate 1 arranged. It overlaps the upper runs of a belt conveyor 15 of which only the delivery end with the deflection roller 16 and the support roller 17 is shown, which is arranged directly under the pulley 13 of the belt 3. The belt conveyor is the final stage of a gathering line, which does not reduce the speed of a shown knife machine coming fresh veneer sheets on the transport speed of a downstream dryer, as e.g. in DE-AS 22 32 677 described. From the dryer, which is designed, for example, as a multi-deck belt dryer is only the entrance with the carrier tape 18, the cover tape 19 and the pulleys 20, 21, 22 shown. The suction belt conveyor according to the invention is therefore used here as a transfer device between the gathering line and the dryer. This arrangement will especially recommended for continuous sliced veneer lines on which veneers which, experience has shown, tend to curl. The veneer sheets come with a more or less rolled up front edge, possibly also just with a rolled up edge Ekken, from the knife machine. The curling can not always be on the way Eliminate through the discharge conveyor and the gathering line, the belts of which are relatively slack are. Therefore, the veneer sheets are removed from the belt conveyor with their leading edges curled transferred to the suction belt conveyor. There they are, as related to figure 1 and Figure 2 described, unrolled and arrive in a completely smoothed state in the dryer.
In the case of continuous sliced veneer lines, it is also possible to use the suction belt conveyor according to the invention immediately behind the knife machine, i.e. to be arranged in front of the gathering section. Indeed, in some cases it is advantageous if the veneers enter the gathering section in a smoothed state; through this damage can be avoided in the gathering section of sensitive veneers. In most cases, however, the arrangement described above is to be preferred, in which the suction belt conveyor which is arranged between the gathering line and dryer because at this point the Conveyor speed is lower.
The stacking device shown in FIG. 8 is for feeding of panels or the like to be stacked, an only partially indicated belt conveyor intended. Under the plate 1, a table 23 is arranged in the usual catfish is adjustable by means of scissors 24 to the desired height, so that the top The panel of the stack 25 is located approximately 10 to 20 cm below the panel 1. The plate 1 is provided with at least one longitudinal slot through which a in the direction of the Double arrow 26 back and forth displaceable stop 27 engages through it.
The stop 27 is adjusted so that its distance from de suction opening 9 is a little larger than the length of the table. When an incoming board with their The front edge reaches the stop 27, its rear edge has just the suction opening happened. At this moment the suction stops abruptly. The whiteboard falls onto the stack without the aid of any control or ejection mechanisms 25th
According to FIGS. 9 and 10, an endless frame is provided on a mobile frame 28 circumferential belt 3 arranged, the one on the task side at a comfortable working height cantilevered horizontal section and on the delivery side by means of two pulleys 29, 30 angled downwards at an angle to the height of the support belt 18 of a belt dryer is. The downward sloping section of the lower run is a plate la assigned to the horizontal section a plate lb. The plate la agrees the plate described in connection with FIG. The plate Ib differs from the fact that at least in the first part of the transport route additional transverse grooves 31 are provided, which each of the longitudinal grooves cross under the suction openings 9. Under the cantilevered horizontal section there is a table 32 that can be raised and lowered, on which the piles to be dried Veneer sheets lie. The height of the table 32 is adjusted so that the distance between the top sheet of the stack and the plate lb only a few centimeters amounts to. The operator lifts the top sheet 33 in the middle so that it touches the belt 3. Above all, depend on it. thin, wide veneer sheets on the side by. In the middle area, where the suction openings 9 are already through the Furniæbiatt 33 are covered, the air is not only through the longitudinal grooves 2 but also sucked through the transverse grooves 31. This creates the negative pressure also continues in the transverse direction and causes an automatic lifting of the sagging Edge zones of the veneer sheet. In this way, even sheets of veneer with extreme Dimensions, e.g. of 5 m. Or more, can be comfortably created by one person.
From the examples given it is clear that the two main advantages of the invention - namely the easier throwing off and the automatic smoothing effect - apply in different ways in the various applications In some cases there is one advantage, in other cases there is the other Advantage in the foreground. Especially when it comes to veneer sheets, both advantages can be found come for retribution. In any case, this results in comparison to conventional suction belt conveyors a considerable saving in suction power.
