Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Zellstoff. Es ist bekannt. (s. Chemie und Struktür der Pflanzen-Zellmembran von Dr. J. K ü n i g und Dr. E. R u m p), daB Glyzerin-Schwvefelsäure aus Holz Fette, stickstoffhaltige Stoffe, Lignin und Hemizellulosen bis auf geringe Mengen herauslöst und die Rohfaser freilegt, ohne den eigentlichen Zellstoff wesentlich anzugreifen. Es wurde nun gefunden, daB diese Eigenschaft des Freilegens des Zellstoffes aus Holz und anderen zellstoffhaltigen Stoffen dem Glykol in noch stärkerer Weise zukommt als dem Glyzerin, besonders bei Zusatz von Katalysatoren, wie Schwefelsäure, Chlorzink, Chlorwasserstoff u. a.Process for the production of pulp.
