Die Fliege/ Mücke/Spinne/usw. versucht reflexartig zu flüchten und wird dadurch von der Klebeplatte fixiert und wird somit unblutig beseitigt. Diese fixierende Wirkung könnte z.B. mit Hilfe einer Membrane (z.B. Gummi, usw.) verstärkt und unterstützt werden. Um zu verhindern, dass die Klebeplatte an der Wand haftet, wird zusätzlich zum Rand eine Art Abstandhalter in Form von Noppen, Stegen, usw. in beliebiger Form und Anordnung auf der Klebeplatte integriert. Die Klebeplatte ist, wie der Name schon sagt, mit geeignetem Kleber überzogen und darauf sind die bereits erwähnten Noppen bzw. Stege fixiert (verhindert ankleben an der Wand). Ebenfalls kann die Klebeplatte mit kleinen Luftlöchern versehen sein, damit die Fliege/Mücke/Spinne nicht schon vom Luftwiderstand flüchten kann. Diese Klebeplatte kann abwaschbar sein, bzw. als Ersatzteil jederzeit nachgekauft und ausgetauscht werden. (2a) – Deckel: Der Deckel ist mit Löchern versehen, so dass er als Endstück auf den Boden passt (auf die Stifte vom Boden) und somit die Klebeplatte fixiert.
