BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Protective masks have been in high demand since the outbreak of the corona virus and are now often mandatory.

PROBLEM POSITION

Faces with hidden mouth-noses.Parties are often frightening for outsiders, because these parts usually reduce the emotional stress caused by strangeness in social communication and serve communication.

In addition, face masks are often made with negative previous experience, e.g. associated with pain and helpless confinement during dental treatment or other surgeries and therefore affectively trigger fears and possible aggressions.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore an object of the present invention to prevent these affects and to give a familiar impression to the wearing of face masks with mouth and nose protection.

SOLUTION

Technically, the task is solved by replacing the visible surface of the mask, the area of the parts of the face covered by it, with a realistic image of the natural regions, so that the image appears normal when viewed briefly and does not trigger any fears, as well as the effort upon closer inspection of the wearer shows normality.

EXECUTION

The inventive step for this is the use of the photographic 3D effect or panorama photography, which is nowadays also mastered by simple cameras and in particular by so-called smartphones.

According to the invention, however, the special feature is that here the camera is not pivoted into a sequence of different viewing angles, but that the camera is firmly mounted and the face is rotated and photographed at the predetermined speed during the recording.

The corresponding series of images is then to be phototechnically transferred to a film - or, as is customary for t-shirt printing, to textile - which can then be applied to the mask as an overlay.

However, the design - albeit less realistic - can be developed from a rectified frontal view.

MASKS

Face masks have been known since ancient times and were particularly used for ritual applications.

A current application closer to the application was the large beak mask of the plague doctor, but it was more of a threat and thus forced distance.

TRANSMISSION TECHNOLOGY

Panoramic photography has been known since the 19th century.
The reverse technique, namely to mount and scan an object, for example on a turntable, is known with the technology of 3D scanners, which record small objects, register them in measuring points and enable them to be restored in 3D printing processes.

This would also apply to rendering on masks. However, recording in individual measuring points is much more time-consuming than photography. Scanning with laser beams and keeping still during the recording time is also quite uncomfortable.

However, the technique of applying masked areas of a face to face masks using photographic techniques to camouflage the mask is not yet known.
