Description
Gebiet der TechnikField of engineering
The invention relates to a self-propelled moving cleaning device with a housing and a surface cleaning device for cleaning a surface to be cleaned.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Self-propelled cleaning devices of the aforementioned type are known in the art. These are in particular cleaning robots, which can perform a dry and / or wet cleaning task. The cleaning device moves during cleaning over the surface to be cleaned and takes on, for example by means of a blower and / or optionally further provided cleaning elements, dust or dirt from the surface to be cleaned. In this case, the cleaning device preferably navigates within the environment by means of a navigation and self-locating device, whereby distances to obstacles are measured in order to avoid a collision.
During the self-propelled movement, the cleaning device cleans the surface over which the cleaning device moves. The cleaning takes place on the one hand by means of the negative pressure generated by a fan, with dust and dirt are conveyed through a suction port of the housing in a filter chamber of the cleaning device and on the other usually additionally by the cooperation of a cleaning element, such as a bristle roller, which over the surface to be cleaned strokes and dissolves dust and dirt. The cleaning is limited to the usually horizontally arranged surface on which the cleaning device moves. A cleaning of overground surfaces does not take place.
Due to the flexible, non-rigid design of the cleaning cloth, this is possibly suitable to clean a lower, the bottom surface facing area of a baseboard or an obstacle. A cleaning of overground surfaces, which are aligned substantially parallel to the bottom surface, is thus not possible because the cleaning cloth folds back due to its low inherent rigidity from a certain, small height difference on the bottom surface.
Zusammenfassung der ErfindungSummary of the invention
Based on the aforementioned prior art, it is an object of the invention to provide a self-propelled moving cleaning device, which in addition to the cleaning of a substantially horizontal surface, in particular a bottom surface, also allows the cleaning of an overground surface, such as a plateau a baseboard.
To achieve the above object, the invention proposes that the cleaning device additionally has an over-floor cleaning device for cleaning a relative to the surface height offset overground surface, wherein the over-floor cleaning device based on a conventional cleaning operation for a cleaning device on a housing top side of the housing formed and / or fixed is.
As a result of the configuration according to the invention, the overfloor cleaning device is located above the housing of the cleaning appliance, so that it is possible to clean an overfloor surface which is vertically offset in height from a floor surface while the cleaning appliance is still standing on the floor surface. Furthermore, it is thereby possible for the cleaning device to move close to the over-surface surface to be cleaned, without the over-surface cleaning device or at least a portion of the over-surface cleaning device being located between the housing of the cleaning device and an obstacle having the over-surface surface, such as a skirting board. Advantageously, the surface of the surface of this case of cleaned at the top or at least substantially at the same height level, so that the dust or dirt present on the surface of the floor surface does not fall on the over-floor cleaning device and can pollute it. The dust and / or dirt falls following the gravitational force on the floor surface to be cleaned and can be transferred there for example by generated by a blower of the cleaner negative pressure in a filter chamber of the cleaning device. Contrary to the state of the art, it is not necessarily required that a cleaning element of the over-floor cleaning device has a particular rigidity in order to be able to reach the over-bottom surface. Rather, at least one abreinigender portion of the over-floor cleaning device is above the housing of the cleaning device, so that a cleaning of the overground surface, in particular a plateau of a baseboard, can be done from above.
The over-floor cleaning device may be permanently attached to the cleaning device, or be manually attached by a user to the cleaning device for certain cleaning tasks and / or cleaning trips. In the latter case, the over-floor cleaning device is thus a removable accessory of the cleaning device. Regardless of the cleaning device itself may be formed in different ways, for example, as a pure vacuum cleaner, as a wet cleaning device, for example with a liquid suction, and / or as a combined suction wiper.
Furthermore, it is proposed that the over-floor cleaning device has a free end region, which has a height difference of more than approximately 3 cm from a standing surface of the cleaning device relative to a cleaning device's usual orientation of the cleaning device. As a result of this embodiment, the free end region of the overfloor cleaning device which carries out the cleaning task, for example, blows out air, sucks air in or has a mechanical cleaning agent, is located in a height plane, which is usually above a baseboard. Here, the usual height of a baseboard is assumed to be about 3 cm to 8 cm, but of course (depending on the design of the cleaning device) skirting can be considered, which more than 8 cm, possibly even more than 10 cm above the ground surface a plateau have, and / or are less than 2 cm. In principle, any height difference is to be overcome by means of the over-floor cleaning device, provided that the over-floor cleaning device has a corresponding length starting from the upper side of the housing of the cleaning device. It is important in particular that the free end region, which ultimately causes the cleaning, is arranged above or at least within the same plane as the surface of the surface, so that a cleaning from above or at least laterally is possible.
According to one embodiment, it is proposed that the over-floor cleaning device has a slot-shaped opening in the circumferential direction of an outer contour of the housing, which has a flow connection to a blower of the cleaning appliance. According to this embodiment, located on the housing upper side of the housing of the cleaning device, in particular on a surface edge of the housing, a suction opening, through which, for example, suction material, in particular dust and / or dirt can be sucked from the surface of the floor, or from which air can be blown out. For example, it is possible with appropriate design of the housing of the cleaning device, that the slot-shaped opening is located substantially at the level of the overground surface, so that suction material can be transferred directly from the surface over the bottom surface via the slot-shaped opening in the housing of the cleaning device. The slot-shaped opening can be formed particularly advantageously along the entire circumference of the outer contour of the housing, d. H. for example, all around the peripheral surface edge of the housing so that the intake of suction material from each side of the housing of the cleaning device is possible. Advantageously, an appearance of the cleaning device can be created by an embodiment of the over-floor cleaning device as a slot-shaped opening, which is integrated into the outer contour of the housing, in which the usual shape of the housing is not changed by an additionally placed on top floor cleaning device. Rather, the over-floor cleaning device is inconspicuously integrated into the shape of the housing. An additional attachment of the over-floor cleaning device to the surface of the housing is not necessary. An attachment of the over-floor cleaning device to the housing is therefore eliminated. The opening formed as a slot, for example, perpendicular to the circumferential direction of the outer contour of the housing have a width of preferably about 1 mm to 10 mm, so that, for example, depending on the size of the suction material to be sucked and / or the desired suction or blowing power adjustment is possible , In particular, it may also be possible that the opening is at least partially openable or closable, so that the width of the opening can be varied depending on the desired power at the opening or the suction material to be performed through the opening.
According to a further embodiment, it is proposed that the overfloor cleaning device has a cleaning arm which, starting from the upper side of the housing, has a cleaning arm Outside contour of the housing beyond the housing protrudes. According to this embodiment, the cleaning arm extends from an attachment point on the housing upper side to preferably a free end region, which projects beyond the outer contour of the housing, so that the free end region of the cleaning arm is arranged next to the housing of the cleaning device. The term adjacent here refers to a projection of the housing and the cleaning arm in the vertical direction, provided that the cleaning device is on a surface to be cleaned as during a conventional cleaning operation.
In particular, it is proposed that the cleaning arm has a flow connection to a fan of the cleaning device having flow channel with a flow opening for the passage of suction air and / or blowing air. The cleaning arm thus serves to guide an air flow from the blower of the cleaning device to the surface of the floor or to suck in suction material from the surface of the floor in the direction of the blower. The cleaning arm is thus part of a suction and / or blow-off device, which is arranged on the upper side of the cleaning device. The suction air flow required for a suction can be achieved, for example, via a diversion from the suction air flow used for a customary floor suction. From a main air flow of the cleaning device from a suction mouth of the cleaning device to the blower thus a suction air part is branched off, which leads from the flow opening of the cleaning arm to the blower of the cleaning device, thus allowing an extraction of an overground surface. Similarly, for a blow-off function of the cleaning arm, a flow connection to an exhaust side of the blower of the cleaning device can be switched, so that the already existing exhaust air of the blower is led out through the cleaning arm from the flow opening and can blow suction material from an overground surface. Furthermore, it is of course also possible for the cleaning arm to be connected to a separate, additional fan, which exclusively serves to clean an over-bottom surface, so that the flow paths formed in the cleaning appliance for cleaning a floor surface and for cleaning an over-floor surface are completely separate from one another are separated. As an alternative or in addition to the aforementioned embodiment, it is likewise possible for the cleaning arm to have a mechanical cleaning element which acts mechanically on the surface of the surface of the floor and thereby removes suction material therefrom. The cleaning element may be, for example, a brush, a textile element or the like. Particularly preferably, the cleaning arm, for example, have a brush, which is arranged together with the flow opening of the flow channel so that local and at the same time an impact on the bottom surface on the one hand by air and on the other hand by mechanical action can take place. In particular, it is also possible that the cleaning arm having a flow channel can optionally be equipped with a mechanical cleaning element by a user of the cleaning device, so that the cleaning arm can be used either with or without a cleaning element.
Furthermore, it is proposed that the flow channel of the cleaning arm is associated with a valve element for opening and / or closing the flow channel. The flow path through the flow channel of the cleaning arm can thus be closed reversibly, so that, for example, a main flow path within the cleaning device, which serves to clean a floor surface, is not influenced by the flow channel of the cleaning arm. If a cleaning of overground surfaces is not needed and / or desired, the flow channel can thus be closed, so that a maximum suction power for cleaning the floor surface is available and not unwanted air is sucked through the cleaning arm. For example, it may be provided that the valve element is switched as a function of a distance to a detected obstacle within the environment of the cleaning device, so that, for example, an opening of the flow channel takes place only when approaching a room edge area.
In this connection, it is in particular proposed that the valve element be operated in dependence on a detection signal of a detection device relative to the flow channel is displaceable, wherein the detection device is adapted to detect an over-bottom surface. The valve element can thus be opened as a function of the detection result of the detection device, for example when approaching a room edge area, so that a corresponding cleaning of an overground area can take place. The detection device may, for example, have a sensor for distance measurement near the ground. This sensor may, for example, be a distance sensor attached laterally relative to a conventional direction of travel of the cleaning device, such as an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared sensor, a laser distance sensor and the like. Furthermore, it is also possible for the detection device to have a camera with corresponding image processing for detecting an overbottom surface.
Furthermore, it is proposed that the over-floor cleaning device is displaceable in dependence on a detection signal of a detection device relative to the housing of the cleaning device, wherein the detection device is set up to detect an over-bottom surface. According to this embodiment, at least part of the over-floor cleaning device can be displaced relative to the housing in order, for example, to bring a cleaning arm to an over-surface surface to be cleaned. As a result, for example, a rotating brush can be displaced to a desired location, an end area of a telescoping arm can be displaced relative to the housing, a flow opening of a flow channel can be guided in a targeted manner to a surface area to be cleaned and the like. The displaceability can be supplemented by a motor motor, for example by a cleaning arm associated with the stepper motor. Furthermore, a relocation can be done manually by a user.
It can be provided that the detection device has two distance sensors which, relative to an orientation of the cleaning device customary for cleaning, have mutually offset in height and overlapping detection regions in a vertical direction relative to a projection. The two distance sensors are arranged on the housing so that they allow the recognition of an overground surface, such as a plateau of a baseboard. The sensor system includes a combination of two or more sensor elements, such as ultrasound sensors, infrared sensors, laser distance sensors or others, of which at least one determines a distance value to an object having an overground surface, in particular a baseboard. At least one further distance sensor measures a distance correspondingly at a different height, so that it can be concluded from a difference of the measured distances and the respective height on a shape or height of the object, in particular it can be recognized whether it is an overground surface such as a Footer bar is. In particular, the detection device can also have more than two distance sensors, for example a sensor array with a multiplicity of sensors, which are arranged vertically one above the other with respect to a conventional orientation of the cleaning device during a cleaning operation. The sensors of this sensor array measure a plurality of measured values at different distances from a floor surface, so that a contour of an object can be scanned, an actual height, for example the height of a baseboard, can be detected and a height adjustment of the over-floor cleaning device can be triggered accordingly. In this case, provision can be made, in particular, for one or more distance sensors of the detection device to be simultaneously sensors which are already present on the cleaning device according to the prior art, for example a measuring device, in particular a triangulation measuring device, for navigation and self-localization of the cleaning device or the like. In the event that the existing for navigation on a bottom of the housing of the cleaning device laser distance sensor is used, can advantageously be carried out at an angle of 360 degrees, a distance measurement to obstacles.
Neigungen handelt. In particular, it is proposed that a first distance sensor has a detection region which, with respect to a vertical spatial direction, has a distance of less than approximately 3 cm to a bottom standing surface of the cleaning device, at least in a partial region, and in that a second distance sensor has a detection region which relates to the vertical spatial direction at least in a partial area has a distance of more than about 8 cm to the lowest footprint. By this configuration, the distance sensors are positioned so that at least one distance sensor has a detection area, which includes a baseboard, and a second distance sensor has a detection area, which has no baseboard with respect to the same spatial direction. The first distance sensor determines a distance to an object, as here, for example, the baseboard, while the second distance sensor, which optionally serves other tasks such as the navigation of the cleaning device, can be consulted only when an approach of the cleaning device has been determined to a room edge. In this case, the distance of the second distance sensor from a floor surface is dimensioned so that its detection range is above the detection range of the first distance sensor and above the upper edge of a conventional footer. The difference between the distance values measured by the two distance sensors permits a conclusion as to the presence of a baseboard. The detection ranges of the distance sensors can be, for example, measurement levels of a sensor, which lie in a conventional orientation of the cleaning device during a cleaning operation substantially parallel to a flat floor surface. If necessary, deviations may result here if the floor surface is an uneven surface and / or a floor surface with gradients or slopes.
Finally, it is proposed that the over-floor cleaning device has a mechanical cleaning element for the mechanical cleaning of the over-bottom surface. The mechanical cleaning element may, for example, be bristle elements, brushes, cleaning rollers and the like. These can, for example, meaningfully support a likewise provided suction or blowing device. The cleaning element can be particularly preferably arranged - as previously proposed - on a cleaning arm of the cleaning device, which emanates from a housing top of the housing.
