Abstract

The method involves using biometric characteristics of fingertips. The outer shape of the fingertip and its pattern of lines are detected as characteristics specific to a person and are fed to an analyzer. Claims (6)

1. Stationäres Gerät zur Personenidentifikation mittels Fingerabdruck- -bzw. Fingerkuppenanalyse für die Zugangskontrolle an Türen und anderen sicherheitsrelevanten Bereichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Gerätegehäuse 1 mindestens zwei Kameras (4, 5) angebracht sind, welche die Unterseite eines in die Gehäuseöffnung 3 eingebrachten Fingers 2 aufnehmen.1.
