Claims (1)
Ein Teil der Traggas Zelle ist über ein Ablaßventil und einen Verdichter mit der Umgebungsluft verbunden. Der andere Teil der Zelle wird wie üblich, mit Traggas befüllt und zwar so viel, daß das gesamte Volumen der Zelle eingenommen wird.
Die Membran ist jetzt an die Zellen Hülle gedrückt.
Mittels des Verdichters kann Umgebungsluft in einen Teil der Traggas Zelle eingeblasen werden. Da die Zellen Hülle aus nicht elastischem Material besteht, wird das Volumen des mit Traggas gefüllten Teils der Zelle vermindert.
Nach Öffnen des Ablaßventils strömt die eingeblasene Luft wieder aus. Das Volumen des mit Traggas gefüllten Teils der Zelle vergrößert sich wieder auf den ursprünglichen Umfang.Carrier gas cell for airships, which is separated into two parts by a highly elastic and gas-tight membrane.

The membrane is now pressed against the cell envelope.
Using the compressor, ambient air can be blown into part of the carrier gas cell. Since the cell envelope consists of non-elastic material, the volume of the part of the cell filled with carrier gas is reduced.
After opening the drain valve, the blown air flows out again. The volume of the part of the cell filled with carrier gas increases again to the original extent.
