Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for Battlefield simulation in the preamble of claim 1 defined genus.
The aim of such a battlefield simulation is real Combat situations on a spatially limited To simulate the practice area and thus a tactical training to enable. All of them are from a central office Maneuvers are monitored and can, if necessary, enter the combat situation be intervened. Participants and goals can each Battle situation change their roles so the targets too shooting participants and the participants to be shot at Be aiming.
A known battlefield simulation system (US 5 788 500) uses a laser for the shot simulation, the Send out continuous laser light (CW laser). The Laser light is by means of pulse code modulation (PCM) and Pulse pause modulation (PPM) modulates so that both the Shot triggering participants as well as the type of the shot dispensing weapon system is clearly identified. All Participants are using optical sensors to receive Equipped with laser light. The shot participant receives via its optical sensors that of laser light modulated information and introduces from it corresponding event, e.g. B. a hit or a Hit storage and or a representation of the effect of Hit.
Higher-quality shooting simulators, which are preferred for barrel weapons, e.g. B. tanks are used, use the laser light of Shot simulator in addition to targeting the shot to measure optically, for which purpose the target is additionally with reflectors is equipped that reflect the laser light. From the The distance to the target and the reflections can be Hit location can be determined relative to the reflectors that then be transferred in addition to the destination.
Have the shot simulators based on laser light various disadvantages. So the optical sensors have to the participants are attached outside so that they are out can be fought in all directions. During the Combat exercise must ensure that there is no sensor e.g. B. is covered by dirt. Between goal and shooting participants must have a free optical Transmission path exist. The determination of Hit by the shooting participant is very elaborate, a goal separation of several goals by the It is not possible to illuminate lasers at the same time. There the laser light must be eye-safe, is the range of the Shot simulation limited.
The invention is based on the object of a method Battlefield simulation specifying the above avoids the disadvantages listed.
The object is solved by the features of claim 1.
The inventive method has the advantage that the Radio transmission of the data is largely immune to interference and through Objects in the field are not shielded, so the claim after a free field of fire is dropped. For sender and receiver the radio transmission, the risk of contamination is low, and unlike lasers, there are special measures to protect the Battle participants not required. In addition, you can also fights hidden targets, and z. B. through houses or dense trees covered targets are destroyed, the cannot be hit with a laser shot, because the the actual laser beam always leads directly to the target, in contrast, the real shot, e.g. B. with a barrel weapon, a parabolic trajectory. With several in the area of Bullet targets can be a goal separation very much simply performed and different effects of the Floor impact on the various targets is shown become.
Appropriate embodiments of the method according to the invention with advantageous developments and design of Invention result from the further claims.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention the current of every participant and every goal Position reported to the head office and in the head office in one Database of the practice area, in the position data of fixed objects, such as houses, walls, streets, Trees and the like, are stored, saved. In order to the head office has a constantly updated overview about the battle situation with everyone involved in the battle Participants and goals.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention at least for every goal - preferably for every participant and each goal, since both can switch roles - one Database with ballistic tables from everyone in the Weapon systems used in the training area, including the ammunition types thus fired, and with models for art and degree of personal injury or damage to you Hit as well as one for the participant or the target identifying identifier stored. So they have Goals about the necessary tools to calculate Missile impacts and to determine the effect of the Missile impacts on the respective target.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention at the headquarters with those sent by shooting participants Data with the help of the stored ballistic Tables hypothetical bullet hits determined and only those due to its location in the area of impact of the projectile hits endangered targets from headquarters to data exchange addressed. This is due to the fact that in the headquarters stored database of the training area also Concealments by houses or trees in the direction of considered. Through this procedural measure, the circle is of participants communicating with each other at the same time Goals limited to the minimum necessary.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention In the case of a simulated shot by the shooting participant the shot data, such as shot direction essay, lead and Position of the launch tube, type of weapon and ammunition, and an identifier of the shooting participant to the headquarters sent and from the headquarters this shot data to the endangered targets, which in turn the location of the Recalculate hypothetical storey impact and the Head office together with an identifier of the reporting destination to transfer. Using the calculated floor impact and their own position and movement at the time of Missile impact determines the type and grade of the targets their wounding or damage and report it to the Headquarters. In the case of temporal and spatial Agreement of target position and location of the hypothetical A hit is displayed visually from the target and / or reported to the head office.
Es zeigen in schematischer Darstellung:The invention is based on one shown in the drawing Embodiment described in more detail below. Show it in a schematic representation:
Fig. 1 ausschnittweise ein Gefechtsfeld mit einer realen Gefechtssituation, Fig. 1 is a fragmentary battlefield with a real combat situation,
Fig. 2 ein Funktionsblockbild des Gefechtsfeldsimulationsverfahrens.2 is a functional block diagram of the battlefield simulation method.
In Fig. 1, the battlefield forming practice area is a fragmentary illustrated in the armed during a battle, real participants 11, z. B. soldiers, tanks, guns and the like., Act and simulated shots at passive participants, hereinafter called targets 12 , z. B. soldiers, tanks, guns, vehicles and the like. In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1, a tank is shown as an armed participant 11 and a commercial vehicle that crosses the terrain is shown as the target 12 . If the targets 12 also have a weapon system, the roles can be reversed during the battle, so that the target 12 now represents the shooting participant and the armed participant 11 the target. All participants 11 and targets 12 are equipped with a satellite-based positioning device, e.g. B. GPS or DGPS, which continuously determines the position of the participant 11 or the target 12 , equipped with a computer unit and with a database or database ( Fig. 2), in the ballistic tables of all of the weapon systems used in the battlefield, statistical information of all of the weapon systems and models used in the battlefield for the type of your own possible wounding or damage when hit. Both the participants 11 and the destinations 12 have a radio with which they communicate with a control center 14 . The radio connections between the control center 14 and subscriber 11 and destinations 12 are identified by arrows 15 in FIG. 1. The control center 14 , which is also equipped with a radio, has a computing unit with a database 16 of the training area, in which position data of objects fixed in the area, such as houses, walls, streets, trees and the like, are stored, and with a database 17 in which - As with targets 12 and armed participants 11 , ballistic tables of all weapon systems used in the training area, including the types of ammunition used by them, are stored.
During a combat exercise, all participants 11 and all targets 12 continuously report their current position (x, y, z coordinates of battle tank and truck in FIG. 1) determined by the GPS to the control center 14 , which stores them in the database 16 for the training area , whereby these stored values are continuously updated. In the case of a simulated shot fired by the participant 11 , the shooting data 11 , such as the position of the launch tube 18 (x, y, z coordinates in FIG. 1), the orientation of the weapon (attachment ε, lead ϕ), type of weapon are used by the shooting participant 11 , Ammunition type, and an identifier of the shooting participant 11 sent to the center 14 . From this shot data, the hypothetical, simulated or virtual flight path and the hypothetical projectile impact are determined in the control center 14 using the knowledge from the database 17 . The shot data are transmitted from the control center 14 to those targets 12 which are in the effective range of the hypothetical projectile impact calculated by the control center 14 and thus could be hit or damaged, that is to say they could be endangered overall. From the endangered targets 12 , the hypothetical projectile impact is determined again using the transmitted shot data of the shooting participant 11 and the knowledge from the database 13 and the own movement and direction of movement during the projectile flight are taken into account. If the own position and the hypothetical projectile impact coincide in time and space, a hit is optically displayed by the target. B. can be done by a flash trigger 19 , as shown in Fig. 1, and additionally the hit of the center 14 reported. If no direct hit is found, but the target 12's own position is only in the immediate vicinity of the projectile impact, the type and degree of possible wounding or damage to the target 12 is determined on the basis of the knowledge from the database 13 and this is reported to the control center 14 .
