Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a communication system at least one connected communication terminal that at least one function key with an associated opti has signaling unit, with input means for free assignment of a function or a phone number to the at least one function key, being in the communication system Means for storing the assignment and for communication end device-individual control of the function of each function keys are provided.
At central switching centers in a communication system are often the busy states of the internal participants optically monitored to even before a possible mediation to recognize whether the corresponding internal The subscriber is already in the call state. This ge usually happens through busy monitors, d. H. Terminal screens showing the busy states or by so-called occupied lamp fields. Busy lamps fields are formed by function keys, each of which a dialing information or telephone number and an optical signal lization unit is permanently assigned. Such functional buttons and the assigned signaling units are in known to experts as a number provider. This number range About are often in special accessories, matching the Integrated terminals of a communication system, the optical signaling units realized by LEDs are. The LED's show the busy states of those Communication system connected communication terminals whose number is assigned to the respective function key is arranged.
If a participant conducts a conversation, this part of the Busy lamp assigned to the subscriber or LEDs are activated, or remains inactive if the participant does not have a Ge talks.
The assignment of the number to the function key and thus to optical signaling unit or busy lamp unique thanks to a central configuration program in the commu nication system. The assignment can only be changed by the central configuration program possible.
The invention has for its object the foregoing described communication arrangement regarding the assignment flexible functions of a busy lamp field to design. The task is based on a communica tion arrangement according to the features of the preamble of Pa Tent claims 1 solved by its characteristic features.
The essential aspect of the communication according to the invention tion arrangement is that each optical signal unit that is assigned to a function key, at least one freely programmable signaling function can be assigned. When assigning more than one Si Signaling function to an optical signaling unit - claim 2 - can each have a signaling function selected via a service procedure and activated (e.g. press the "Service" key, press the key to be changed, Select function, enter phone number, save). Before can partially with an arrangement of several optical signals units that have more than one signaling radio tion is assigned with the help of another service process dur all of the active signalis function on one more for each op table signaling unit defined and stored Signaling function can be switched - claim 3. So can, for example, the fun in an operator console Gating communication terminal arranged, optical Si Signaling units optionally for call identification and / or used as a busy lamp field, with the Call identification is that optical signaling unit is activated, its assigned function key ten number with the number of the incoming call agrees - Claim 4.
With several function keys or optical signaling units and two assigned signaling radio functions, call identification and busy display are available partial means for the simultaneous selection of all call identities Fication or busy display functions and their acti vation provided - claim 5. This advantageous Ausge staltung of the invention represents the main application in Practice represents. For the implementation of the free Programming the functionality of the optical signal units in the communication system or in communication cation terminal advantageously a special two-part Da ten structure used - claims 6, 7, 8 - their structure Fast and frequent searching of phone numbers optimized is - claim 8. Since according to a further advantageous Aus design of several individual messages to record loading sets states of communication terminals or to control of the optical signaling units to one Group message can be summarized, a relevant Computation and runtime savings can be achieved - claim 9. To even with communication arrangements with a large number of connected communication terminals, many of which used as an operator, an efficient Er determination of busy states of connected communica to ensure tion terminals are stored in the memory of the com communication system generates additional data structures through which is the number of messages to determine busy-to would be further reduced and thus faster processing is guaranteed - claim 12.
Further advantageous developments of the invention Communication arrangement are ent to the further claims to take.
In the following an embodiment of the invention ß arrangement explained in more detail using a block diagram.
Das Kommunikationssystem KS ist in drei wesentliche Mo dule unterteilt:The communication arrangement KA shown shows a commu nication system KS with connected communication terminals ten KE, one of which is represented on behalf of all is. The communication system KS is in three essential mo dule divided:
- - eine zentrale Steuerungseinheit ZSE,- a central control unit ZSE,
- - eine periphere Steuerungseinheit PSE und- a peripheral control unit PSE and
The communication terminal KE has a display unit ANZ and a keypad TB a field of function keys FT1. . . m each with an associated optical signal unit SE1. . . m on. In the following it is assumed that the field of signaling units SE1. . . m a busy lamp field represents, with the individual busy lamps at are realized for example by an LED. In the TB keypad is for programming the signaling units SE1. . . n with a signaling function sf, for example a selection and a confirmation key AT, BT provided. With the selection key AT possible signaling functions sf displayed in the display unit ANZ and off selected and by pressing the confirmation button BT the off selected signaling function sf for that signal i sation unit SE1. . . n programmed that is currently activated or is actuated. The two named buttons AT, BT can also for entering additional signaling functions sf ver be applied; furthermore by pressing one further key - not shown - of the key field TB one common switching of the signaling functions he enough.
. . m des Kommunikations endgerätes KE gespeichert ist.The mediators are in the central control unit ZSE tion processes in the communication arrangement KA controlled in this way like the busy states of the connected communications terminals KE monitors. These busy states are the pe peripheral control unit PSE in defined time intervals would not be communicated in the form of a message. In a he Most implementation variant described below reports the central control unit ZSE of the peripheral control unit PSE that occurred during a time interval Busy state changes of all communication terminals KE, d. H. also those communication terminals KE whose call number on no function key FT1. . . m of communication terminal KE is stored.
For storing the function key data or signal Sation functions are in a memory of the peripheral Control unit PSE reali two special data structures siert. In the first, general data structure are TAK-DATA generally valid function key data - not shown -, for all communication terminals KE, be it mediators or a simple telephone with the same structure, saved. This function key data can by the De fault specifications of a function that realizes the respective function Program can be specified or at the end of communication KE device or programmed by a central system terminal will. The data structure TAK-DATA of the function key data is due to the amount of individual function key data optimized in the communication arrangement KA in such a way that poss little system memory is used. This data structure However, TAK-DATA is for a quick and frequent browsing Chen, as it would be advantageous for the busy lamp function not suitable; on the other hand, all functions already exist and program interfaces to manipulate this data - Response to key stimuli, switching of optical signals programming units, programming function keys, etc.
From this, available for each communication terminal KE, general data area TAK-DATA of the function key data every time the function key data is changed - e.g. B. after key programming - for every communication terminal KE generates a second data area BLF-DATA in such a way that in this only data from those function keys FT1. . . m of the communication terminal KE are entered, to which a number is assigned. Alternatively, the mentioned data areas TAK-DATA of the function key data generated a total of only a second data area BLF-DATA, in that of all communication terminals KE only data from with a function key assigned to FT1. . . m entered are not drawn. This second data area BLF-DATA is basically made up of two tables TAB1 and TAB2 builds and structured in such a way that optimal machining speed and the greatest possible flexibility in Assignment of functions is achieved.
Die erste Tabelle TAB1 enthält die Rufnummern rn1 . . . n derje nigen Funktionstasten FT1 . . . m, denen eine Rufnummer rn1 . . . n eines Kommunikationsendgerätes KE zugeordnet ist. Um ein schnelles Durchsuchen der Rufnummern rn1 . . . . n zum Schalten der den Ruf nummern rn1 . . . n bzw. Funktionstasten FT1 . . . m zugeordneten, optischen Signalisierungseinheiten SE1 . . . m, wobei diese Nach richten na1 . . . n zu einer Sammelnachricht ns zusammengefaßt werden.The first table TAB1 contains the phone numbers rn1. . . n derje Function keys FT1. . . m to whom a number rn1. . . n is assigned to a communication terminal KE. To a quick search of the phone numbers rn1. . . n to enable these phone numbers are sorted - for example, increasing Number sequence. The second table TAB2 already contains the edited messages na1. . . n to switch the call numbers rn1. . . n or FT1 function keys. . . m assigned optical signaling units SE1. . . m, this after judge na1. . . n combined into a collective message ns will.
Beim beispielhaften Ablauf der Steuerung der optischen Signa lisierungseinheiten SE1 . . In the example of the control of the optical signal lization units SE1. . . m as occupied lamps receives the pe riphere control unit PSE from the central control unit ZSE a message ni with a list of phone numbers rb1. . . k and the associated busy states. The peri phere control unit PSE searches the first table TAB1 with the stored phone numbers rn1. . . n of the function keys FT1. . . m after all phone numbers specified in the message ni rb1. . . k. Is a number rb1 to be searched. . . k the night ni with a phone number rn1. . . n of the first table TAB1 agree, d. H. if the number was found, it is located the associated message na1. . . n that is needed to get the associated optical signaling unit SE1. . . m too scarf ten, in the second table TAB2. The corresponding signal The status is still determined from the busy status transmitted message ni determined. For everyone found Call numbers rn1. . . n becomes from the respective individual after judge na1. . . a collective message in the second table TAB2 ns formed. A collective message ns is sent to the subscriber Connection module IWU sent, after which all phone numbers rb1. . . n, that are contained in the input message ni are present that were checked in table TAB1.
. . n, die einer Funktionstaste FT1 . . . m bzw. optischen Signalisierungseinheit SE1 . . . m zuge ordnet sind. Alle Änderungen an Funktionstasten-Daten, z. In communication arrangements KA with a large number of connected communication terminals KE, are to the To to monitor the status of the communication terminals KE, essential processing speeds and optimized Processing procedures necessary. For this purpose, the following second implementation variant of the inventions described above arrangement according to the invention of the peripheral control unit PSE a message ni from the central control unit ZSE transmitted, in which, in contrast to the previously described level implementation variant, only the changes to the busy states of those communication terminals KE included are, whose phone number is a function key FT1. . . m assigned. This is done in the central control ZSE has an additional one for each communication terminal KE Data structure ZSE-BLF-DATA generated - by dashed lines never indicated. The table realized in it corresponds to that Contents of the first table TAB1 of the second data area BLF-DATA in the peripheral control unit PSE and contains all phone numbers to be monitored rn1. . . n that of a function key FT1. . . m or optical signaling unit SE1. . . m supplied are arranged. Any changes to function key data, e.g. B. after programming, cause an immediate update the three data areas with function key-relevant Data - TAK-DATA, BLF-DATA and ZST-BLF-DATA.
