Description
Warm air heating system for large vehicles The invention relates on a Wannluft heating system for large vehicles, especially buses, with Heating by the waste heat from the engine and one at the rear of the vehicle additional external heating provided by the vehicle and with the arrangement of Distribution lines at an angle between the side walls and the floor of the car.
It is known that the distribution lines provided with discharge openings the warm air heating system is advantageously arranged in this area of the vehicle compartment be to the passengers with the rising air flow in the carriage against the to shield cold outside walls and any cold air entering from outside. Since distribution lines require relatively large cross-sections for warm air heating in buses, however, prepares them to be laid in the angle between the side walls and the floor of the car Trouble. The wheel arches usually rise considerably above the floor of the car, so that the ground and the center of gravity of the vehicle load are as low as possible and thus only a few steps are required for passengers to board. To the others should still have the distribution lines below the vehicle seats so that the width of the carriage space can be fully utilized. From these conditions it follows that that between the top of the wheel arches and the upper boundary wall of the distribution lines there is only a relatively small distance. That's why it's convenient It is not possible to arrange two distribution lines one above the other at these points. A position of the distribution lines next to each other is forbidden because this means the footwell would be unduly restricted for the passengers. That's why one has so far in such Cases in which two types of heating cables or cables for separate heating and ventilation were to be provided, always only one of these lines in the angle between arranged the side walls and the car floor and the other line for example Laid in the car floor next to the aisle or below the car ceiling, what for the assembly, the cost of materials and the air flow is disadvantageous.
The invention is therefore based on the object for the warm air heating system of large vehicles of the type mentioned, a simple relocation of two To create distribution lines with which the disadvantages described are eliminated.
This object is achieved in that below a at the same height over the entire length of the carriage space continuous upper End wall the distribution lines are arranged so that they, from the respective Starting from the heating source, it is passed over the wheel arches of the nearest axle are, in length between the wheel arches of the front and rear axles in itself are arranged in a known manner one above the other and in front of the wheel arches of the more distant Axis end.
With the arrangement of the distribution lines according to the invention With a moderate overall height, on the one hand, sufficient flow cross-sections, because in each case only one line is above the wheel arches. On the other hand, the extend Distribution lines for both types of heating over most of the length of the car compartment, so that a sufficiently even distribution of the heating air is guaranteed. The height that remains the same over the entire length of the carriage space is the upper one End wall of both pipe systems advantageous.
The upper end wall of the distribution lines can be a longitudinal guide for slidable fastening elements of bench seats included, which thereby are adjustable in a certain range in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Such longitudinal guides for sliding fasteners for the bench seats can also instead be provided in the inner side wall of the distribution line. Finally is it is possible for the distribution lines to run longitudinally at the same time in a manner known per se Take up the actuation linkage or control lines for the vehicle.
In the area of the wheel arches, the distribution lines routed over them are advantageously given a bend that increases the cross-section of the line. Since the distribution lines lie directly on the outer wall, but the tires of the vehicle wheels further inside, such bends are possible. In particular, they do not affect the turning of the steering wheels. The invention is illustrated in the drawing on CD light. It shows Fig. 1 a longitudinal section through the structure of a bus with a view of the distribution lines on a longitudinal wall, Ab b. 2 and 3 on a larger scale each a partial section according to A -B of Ab b. 1 in two different versions and from b. 4 shows an enlarged partial section according to CD of Fig. B. 1.
Immediately above the floor 1 of the vehicle compartment and adjacent to the lateral outer wall 2, distribution lines 3, 4 according to the invention are arranged on one or both sides of the vehicle so that they lie one above the other over the length between the wheel arches 5, 6 of the front and rear axles. The lower distribution line 3 is supplied with the warm air through a connector 8 from a special heating source (not shown), while the upper distribution line 4 receives the air heated by heat exchange with the engine located in the rear of the vehicle through the connector 9. In the area between the wheel arches 5, 6 , the distribution lines are separated from one another by a horizontal partition 10 , which ends in an inclined wall 11 in the upper end wall 12, which extends over the entire length at the same height. In front of and behind the wheel arches, inclined walls 13, 14 ensure a gradual transition of the line cross-sections. The distribution lines 3, 4 have a C ID c vertical inner boundary wall 15 which is continuous over the entire length and in which the outflow opening 16 for the heating air is contained. As from A b b. 4 seen, the wheel housing 5 has Tg in the range of about it is guided past distribution line 3 is a cross section of the line it magnification de inflection 17. The suspension rash and the steering angle of the wheel 18 are not affected, as indicated in dash-dotted lines.
After Ab b. 2 and 4, the vertical inner wall 15 of the distribution lines near the upper edge contains a longitudinal guide 20 in the form of a T-groove for receiving the heads of screws for the bench seats which are adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the car space. At the central organor, the benches stand up on the floor 1 .
In der Ausfühung nach Ab b. 3 ist eine durch-Clehende Län t' gsführung21 für denselben Zweck in der oberen Abschlußwand12 vorgesehen. A b b. 2 und 3 zeigen längsverlaufende Betätigungs-P a -stänge bzw. Steuerleitungen 22 in den Verteil leitunaen unter der oberen Abschlußwand 12.In the execution according to ab b. 3 a through-Clehende Län t 'gsführung21 is provided for the same purpose in the upper end wall12. A b b. 2 and 3 show longitudinal actuation P a rods or control lines 22 in the distribution lines under the upper end wall 12.
