Abstract

The step exercise machine has a base plinth (10) and housing (20) with two pedals (23). Actuating means (32) interact with the center section of the housing to set the housing in a swing movement relative to the plinth about the shaft (14) when the pedals (23) are actuated. The actuating means have a pin (32) which engages in a channel (28) in the center section of the housing and slides therein. Resistance forces can be exerted against the pedals (23) through suitable means.
