Da zum Antreiben des Kraftwagens ein beispielsweise im Vergleich zum Betreiben eines anderweitigen elektrischen Verbrauchers des Kraftwagens relativ hoher Betrag an elektrischer Energie vonnöten ist, und zur Darstellung einer hohen Reichweite des Kraftwagens, stellt die Hochvolt-Batterie eine relativ hohe Spannung bereit und kann ein relativ hohes Gewicht aufweisen. Der innere Deformationsbereich stellt einen gestaltfesten Sicherheitsbereich für die Batterie bereit, welcher sich nicht oder zumindest weniger stark als der äußere Deformationsbereich bei der unfallbedingten Kraftbeaufschlagung verformt. In der Folge kann die Batterie dadurch besonders groß hinsichtlich ihrer Dimension bzw. Ausmaße ausgestaltet werden. Somit weist die Batterie eine besonders große Speicherkapazität zur Speicherung von elektrischer Energie bzw. elektrischem Strom zur Versorgung des zumindest einen Elektromotors auf. Dadurch kann der zumindest eine Elektromotor zum Antreiben des Kraftwagens über einen besonders langen Zeitraum und/oder über eine besonders große Wegstrecke hinweg mit elektrischem Strom versorgt werden, was mit einer hohen Reichweite des Kraftwagens einhergeht.
