Abstract
Description
In Many process engineering plants distribute liquids in a gas. It is common crucial that the liquid in as possible fine drop is sprayed. The finer the drops, the greater the specific drop surface area. from that can There are considerable procedural advantages. For example, hang the size of a reaction vessel and its manufacturing cost significantly from the average droplet size. But In many cases, it is by no means sufficient for the average droplet size to be one certain limit value. Already a few essential bigger drops can too considerable malfunctions to lead. This is particularly the case when the drops due to their Not size evaporate fast enough, so that even drops or doughy Particles in subsequent components, eg. B. on fabric filter bags or on fan blades, be deposited and disrupted by incrustations or lead to corrosion.

At low air pressure is spoken by Airblast nozzles, at higher Air pressure from compressed air Nozzles (air assisted nozzles).
Einstoffdüsen kann man in zwei Hauptgruppen einteilen:
- – einfache
Druckzerstäuber-Einstoffdüsen (Einwegdüsen), bei
denen die der Düse
zugeführte Flüssigkeit
zwangsläufig
in vollem Umfange zerstäubt
wird,
- - simple pressure atomizer single-fluid nozzles (disposable nozzles), in which the liquid supplied to the nozzle is inevitably atomized to the full extent,
1 , The liquid to be atomized100 is over the line101 the nozzle102 fed. In many cases, there is a swirling body in the nozzle103 arranged. The liquid is at operating in the design point with high pressure of z. B. 10-40 bar through the nozzle outlet opening104 pressed and crumbled into the droplet jet105 , A major disadvantage of these nozzles is that at partial load only a very low pressure for atomization is available. This results in a relatively coarse droplet spectrum at low part load. In order to obtain a sufficiently wide variation range for the liquid throughput, a very high pre-pressure must be present at maximum liquid throughput; this results in a sophisticated pump technology and expensive high-pressure lines. - - One-fluid nozzles with a reversing chamber, so-called return nozzles,
2 , Only the right side of the substantially symmetrical nozzle is shown here. The liquid to be atomized200 gets over the line at high pressure201 the return nozzle202 supplied, usually via a swirl generator203 , For swirl generation can, as in2 shown, a swirl rose in the pipe201 be installed; However, as is known, it is also possible to generate the twist by a tangential introduction of the liquid into the reversing chamber. In the reversing chamber, which resembles a cyclone separator, the liquid becomes part of the streams205 and206 divided up. The partial flow206 is pressed out of the nozzle mouth for atomization, while the return partial flow205 is returned via a throttle device, not shown here in the pump flow. Accordingly, it is not necessary here to atomize the entire liquid flow which is fed to the nozzle; rather, a largely variable partial flow from the reversing chamber can be led back into the circulation pump flow of the liquid. One speaks therefore of return nozzles. The distribution of the liquid flow in the return flow and the atomizing flow via a corresponding throttling the return line. When the return line is completely closed, the return nozzle degenerates into a simple pressure atomizing nozzle. Return nozzles have a much more favorable control characteristic than simple Druckzerstäuberdüsen. This behavior is essentially due to the fact that the strength of the twist in the reversing chamber is not determined solely by the partial flow of the liquid to be atomized. And this swirl intensity is of considerable importance for the generated droplet size distribution. At very low sputtering liquid flows, and thus at extreme partial load, forms to the outlet210 the nozzle towards a relatively thin, swirling-ter Flüssigkeitsfim207 out, which flows in a spiral to the nozzle mouth. This liquid film loses part of its kinetic energy by wall cleaning, so that it arrives at the nozzle mouth at a comparatively low speed and thus also breaks down into relatively large droplets. - - compressed gas-supported two-substance nozzles,
3 With return nozzles is still at a very high form of z. B. 50 bar is still far from producing such a fine droplet size distribution, as is possible with pressurized gas-assisted nozzles, hereinafter referred to as two-fluid nozzles. In3 is a two-fluid nozzle shown schematically. At this nozzle300 becomes the liquid301 over the supply line302 in a mixing chamber303 initiated. Further, the compressed gas304 , z. As compressed air or compressed steam, via the compressed gas supply line305 blown into the mixing chamber. Since compressed air is used in most cases, we generally limit ourselves to this term without excluding the use of another compressed gas medium. That in the mixing chamber303 resulting mixture306 from drops and compressed air is in the convergent divergent nozzle (Laval nozzle)307 strongly accelerated. In this way, the nozzle outlet308 a jet of very fine drops309 generated. An essential advantage of the two-component nozzle is that the droplet size distribution is very fine even at very low liquid throughput, as a rule even much finer than at a higher liquid throughput. On the other hand, with increasing liquid throughput, there is an undesirable coarsening of the droplet size distribution, unless the pressure of the atomizing air is greatly increased, which is associated with considerable expenditure of energy and expensive compressor technology. In general, it must be taken into account that the energy required to supply the compressed gas, usually in the form of compressed air, is very high in the case of two-component nozzles.
Aufgabenstellung dieser ErfindungProblem of this invention
With The aim of the present invention is to provide the advantages to connect the concept of "return nozzle" with those of the two-fluid nozzle. In particular, it is desirable, with low energy consumption and at low system costs to create a broad control range and this while keeping one as possible fine drop size distribution.

- - Even for the generation of a very fine droplet jet, the pre-pressure of the compressed air
6 not be raised above approx. 1 bar overpressure (t), related to the pressure in the room32 into which is injected. In the case of two-component nozzles according to the prior art, it is common to use pre-prints of up to about 6 bar (t). Thus, the energy required for the provision of compressed air when using a nozzle according to the invention can be substantially reduced, for. B. to 25%. - - For the supply of compressed air with an overpressure of only 1 bar no expensive compressor systems with air dryers are needed. Instead, Roots blowers or small high-performance centrifugal compressors can be used.
- - The annular gap air prevents drying of ingredients of the atomizing liquid
16 on the circumference of the nozzle mouth, as it is when exposed to hot gas, eg. B. in an evaporative cooler, which would be the case. Encrustations on the circumference of the nozzle mouth would severely affect the atomization and lead to the formation of large peripheral drops. The annular gap air thus takes over to a certain extent the task of the fog air, s. below, so that in many cases no otherwise required Schleierluftversorgung is required. Although the pressure of fogging air is usually comparatively low at about 0.05 bar; but the supply lines are certainly a relevant cost factor. - - The trailing edge
34 the annular gap air nozzle33 Can be made thick, so they provide protection against damage to the inner contour17 offers, which is sharp-edged in the interest of a fine droplet size distribution.
