Abstract

In den Fig. 1a bis 1f ist eine Armbanduhr 1 mit einem Armband 2 gezeigt. Die Armbanduhr 1 weist ein Gehäuse 3 auf, in dem ein Uhrwerk aufgenommen ist. Zum Verschließen des Armbandes 2 ist ein Schließmechanismus 4 vorgesehen, der vorteilhafterweise als Faltschließe ausgebildet ist. Dabei umgibt der oberhalb des Gehäuses 3 angeordnete Teil 4a des Schließmechanismus 4 das Gehäuse 3 der Armbanduhr 1 rahmenartig, so daß der Blick auf das Zifferblatt der Armbanduhr 1 freibleibt. Ebenso kann der unterhalb des Gehäuses 3 angeordnete Teil 4b des Schließmechanismus 4 den Blick auf das Gehäuseinnere der Armbanduhr 1 und damit auf das Uhrwerk freigeben. Dazu kann der unterhalb des Gehäuses 3 angeordnete Teil 4b ebenfalls rahmenartig mit einem verglasten Fenster ausgestaltet sein. Da sich das Gehäuse 3 der Armbanduhr 1 beim Öffnen um 180° dreht (vgl. Fig. 2a, 2c und 2e), ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn ein Teil des Schließmechanismus 4, insbesondere der unterhalb des Gehäuses 3 vorgesehene Teil 4b als Boden für das Gehäuse 3 ausgebildet ist. Im geöffneten Zustand des Schließmechanismus 4 ist dann das Uhrwerk z. B. zu Reparaturzwecken oder zum Austausch einer Batterie frei zugänglich.
