Abstract

An electronic device and an assembly thereof are provided, the electronic device comprises a shell and an electronic assembly, the shell is provided with an opening between a first side surface and a second side surface which are parallel to each other, and the opening is provided with a first side edge and a second side edge which are opposite to each other. The electronic component is arranged on the shell and comprises a body, a connecting part and a waterproof ring. The connecting portion is arranged on one side of the body. The waterproof ring comprises an outer ring piece, an inner ring piece and two stop pieces. The outer ring piece is a complete closed ring and is annularly arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part. The inner ring piece is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part and is close to the body than the outer ring piece. The two stop members are respectively connected with the outer ring member and the inner ring member. When the connecting part penetrates through the opening, one side of the outer ring piece is closely connected to the first side face, one side of the inner ring piece is closely connected to the second side face, one stop piece is located at the first side face, and the other stop piece is located at the second side face.

Technical Field
An electronic device, in particular an electronic device with a waterproof component.
Background
In a conventional electronic device, due to the design of a housing, when an electronic component is assembled in the electronic device, a portion of a connection portion between the electronic component and the electronic device may be exposed, so that external water may permeate into the housing of the electronic device from the exposed portion of the connection portion, and an effective waterproof function cannot be achieved.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, according to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing and an electronic component. The shell is provided with an opening between a first side face and a second side face which are parallel to each other, the opening is provided with a first side edge and a second side edge which are opposite, and the first side edge and the second side edge are obliquely arranged between the first side face and the second side face. The electronic component is arranged on the shell and comprises a body, a connecting part and a waterproof ring. The connecting portion is arranged on one side of the body. The waterproof ring comprises an outer ring piece, an inner ring piece and two stop pieces. The outer ring piece is a complete closed ring and is annularly arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part. The inner ring piece is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part and is close to the body than the outer ring piece. The two stopping pieces are respectively connected with the outer ring piece and the inner ring piece. When the connecting portion is correspondingly penetrated in the opening, one side of the outer ring piece is closely connected to the first side face, one side of the inner ring piece is closely connected to the second side face, one stop piece is correspondingly positioned at the first side edge, and the other stop piece is correspondingly positioned at the second side edge.
In some embodiments, the other side of the outer ring member opposite the first side protrudes from the opening.

Please refer to fig. 1 to 7. FIG. 1 is an exploded view of an electronic device according to an embodiment. Fig. 2 is a schematic view of a housing according to an embodiment. FIG. 3 is another angular schematic view of a housing according to an embodiment. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an electronic assembly according to an embodiment. FIG. 5 is another angular schematic diagram of an electronic assembly according to an embodiment. Fig. 6 is a side view of an electronic assembly according to an embodiment. Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of an electronic component assembled in an electronic device according to an embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, an electronic device 100 includes a housing 110 and an electronic component 130. The electronic device 100 is, for example, a notebook computer or a tablet computer, and the electronic component 130 is, for example, a battery component, a removable hard disk or a removable optical disk drive, but the invention is not limited thereto.
As shown in fig. 2, 3 and 7, the housing 110 has a first side 111 and a second side 112 parallel to each other, and a receiving slot 114 is formed between the first side 111 and the second side 112, and the electronic component 130 is, for example, assembled and received in the receiving slot 114. The housing 110 has an opening 113 between the first side 111 and the second side 112, which are parallel to each other, the opening 113 has a first side 1131 and a second side 1132 opposite to each other, and the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 are disposed between the first side 111 and the second side 112 in an inclined manner. Further, the accommodating groove 114 is correspondingly provided with an opening 113. The first side 111 and the second side 112 are opposite surfaces of the housing 110, and the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 extend obliquely from the first side 111 and are connected to the second side 112, and form an opening 113 for assembling the connection portion 132 of the power supply assembly 130.
As shown in fig. 2 and 4, the electronic component 130 is assembled to the housing 110, and includes a main body 131, a connecting portion 132, and a waterproof ring 133. The connection portion 132 is disposed at one side of the body 131. The body 131 of the electronic component 130 is assembled and accommodated in the accommodating groove 114 of the housing 110, and the connecting portion 132 is inserted into the opening 113, so as to complete the assembly of the electronic component 130 and the housing 110. Further, the connection portion 132 of the electronic component 130 is, for example, an electrical connection terminal, and the electronic device 100 has another electrical connection terminal (not shown), and the connection portion 132 of the electronic component 130 can be electrically connected to other electronic parts (not shown) in the electronic device 100, so as to achieve the functions of supplying power or transmitting data.
As shown in fig. 4 to 6, the waterproof ring 133 includes an outer ring 1331, an inner ring 1332, and a two-stop 1333. By means of the double-turn waterproof ring 133, water is prevented from penetrating into the housing 110 from the outside. On the other hand, the water-proof ring 133 with double rings can be used to avoid water from penetrating into the electronic assembly 130 from outside.
The outer ring 1331 is a complete closed ring, and is disposed around the outer surface of the connecting portion 132. As shown in fig. 6, the outer ring 1331 is located at an end remote from the body 131.
The inner ring 1332 is disposed on the outer surface of the connecting portion 132 and is closer to the body 131 than the outer ring 1331. As shown in fig. 6, the inner ring 1332 is a non-complete closed ring.
The two stoppers 1333 are respectively connected to the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332. Since the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 are disposed at a distance d, water is prevented from penetrating from the gap between the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 by the two stoppers 1333. Various embodiments of the connection position and manner of the two stoppers 1333 will be described later.
When the connecting portion 132 is correspondingly disposed through the opening 113, one side S1 of the outer ring 1331 is tightly connected to the first side 111, the opposite side S2 of the outer ring 1331 protrudes out of the opening 113, one side S3 of the inner ring 1332 is tightly connected to the second side 112, one stopper 1333 is correspondingly disposed at the first side 1131, and the other stopper 1333 is correspondingly disposed at the second side 1132. As shown in fig. 7, when the electronic component 130 is assembled to the housing 110, the outer ring 1331 as a complete closed ring closely contacts the first side 111, however, since the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 are obliquely connected to the first side 111 and the second side 112, the outer ring 1331 also closely contacts a portion of the first side 1131 and a portion of the second side 1132, and the outer ring 1331 corresponding to the side S2 of the second side 112 is exposed out of the opening 113. An inner ring 1332, which is a non-fully closed ring, closely contacts the second side 112. In addition, two stoppers 1333 between the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 are in close contact with the first side 1131 and the second side 1132, respectively.
Thus, the inner ring 1332 can prevent water from entering the electronic device 100 from the second side 112, part of the first side 1131 and part of the second side 1132 of the accommodating groove 114, and even if water is about to enter from the direction of the first side 111 of the accommodating groove 114, the outer ring 1331 and the two stoppers 1333 can block water from entering the electronic device 100 from the first side 111, part of the first side 1131 and part of the second side 1132, and the two stoppers 1333 can prevent water from entering from the first side 1131 and the second side 1132. In another embodiment, the outer ring 1331 can prevent water from entering from the first side 111, part of the first side 1131 and part of the second side 1132, and water is blocked by the inner ring 1332 and the two stoppers 1333 even if the water is about to enter from the direction of the second side 112.
Specifically, by providing the waterproof ring 133 having the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 at the connection portion 132 of the electronic component 130 and connecting the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 by the stopper 1333, water is blocked from penetrating into the housing 110 of the electronic device 100 by the stopper 1333 and the outer ring 1331, so that the waterproof function is maintained even if water flows in from the portion of the connection portion 132 exposed to the housing 110 (i.e., at the position corresponding to the accommodation groove 114, i.e., at the left side of the first side 1131 as shown in fig. 7). In another embodiment, the outer ring 1331 blocks water from penetrating into the electronic component 130 from the inside of the electronic device 100, and even if water flows in from the portion of the connecting portion 132 exposed to the housing 110 (at the right side of the first side 1131 as shown in fig. 7), the water cannot penetrate into the electronic component 130 due to the blocking piece 1333 and the inner ring 1332, so as to maintain the waterproof function.
In one embodiment, the inner ring 1332 has a notch 1334, and the notch 1334 opens toward the top end of the body 131. As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the inner ring 1332 is a non-complete closed ring, and the notch 1334 is opened toward the first side 111 of the housing 110, and since the water in the direction of the first side 111 can be blocked from the outer ring 1331, the inner ring 1332 can correspond to the structure of the housing 110 (the accommodating groove 114), and the notch 1334 is provided, so as to avoid the extrusion of the structure and reduce the consumption of materials during assembly.
As shown in fig. 6 and fig. 7, regarding the connection position of the two stoppers 1333, in an embodiment, when the connection portion 132 is correspondingly disposed through the opening 113, the two stoppers 1333 are respectively located in the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 and cover the outer ring 1331. For example, if two stoppers 1333 are disposed outside the coverage of the first side 1131 and the second side 1132, the two stoppers 1333 will be exposed to the opening 113, and the external water can enter the housing 110 through the gap between the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332.
As shown in fig. 4 to 6, in an embodiment, the connecting portion 132 has a first surface 1321 and a second surface 1322, and the two stoppers 1333 are respectively disposed at two opposite ends and located within a distance range of 2/3 of a distance from the first surface 1321 to the second surface 1322. Thus, by disposing the two stoppers 1333 adjacent to the first surface 1321, the two stoppers 1333 are exposed out of the opening 113 when the electronic component 130 is assembled to the housing 110, so that external water is prevented from penetrating.
With respect to the connection manner of the two stoppers 1333, as shown in fig. 6, in one embodiment, the waterproof ring 133 has a central axis C passing through the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332, and the two stoppers 1333 extend in a direction parallel to the central axes C of the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 and connect the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332.
In one embodiment, the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 are disposed at a predetermined distance d. Since the distance between the outer ring 1331 and the inner ring 1332 is too short, which may cause difficulty in forming the structure, the outer ring is disposed at a certain interval d, for example, 0.5mm.
Please refer to fig. 8. Fig. 8 is a side view of an electronic assembly according to another embodiment. Regarding the connection position of the two stoppers 1333, in the present embodiment, the two stoppers 2333 are adjacent to the notch 2334, for example, as long as the two stoppers 2333 are located within the coverage area of the first side 1131 and the second side 1132, the two stoppers 2333 may also be located at a position away from the notch 2334 to maintain the waterproof function.
Please refer to fig. 9. Fig. 9 is a side view of an electronic assembly according to yet another embodiment. In the present embodiment, the two stoppers 3333 extend in a direction inclined to the axial direction of the outer ring 3331 and the inner ring 3332 and connect the outer ring 3331 and the inner ring 3332. Thus, the two blocking members 3333 may also be connected to the outer ring 3331 and the inner ring 3332 obliquely, for example, the two blocking members 3333 may be disposed at the covering edges of the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 respectively, and extend obliquely along the first side 1131 and the second side 1132 to connect the outer ring 3331 and the inner ring 3332.
In summary, in the electronic device and the electronic assembly according to the embodiments, the waterproof ring having the outer ring member and the inner ring member is disposed at the connection portion of the electronic assembly, and the outer ring member and the inner ring member are connected by the retaining member. In addition to blocking water from penetrating from the outside of the electronic device by the inner ring member, even if water flows in from the portion of the connection portion exposed to the housing, the water is blocked by the blocking member and the outer ring member and cannot penetrate into the housing of the electronic device, so that the waterproof function is maintained. In addition, the outer ring member can also prevent water from penetrating into the electronic component from the inside of the electronic device, and even if water flows in from the part of the connecting part exposed out of the shell, the water cannot penetrate into the electronic component due to the blocking member and the inner ring member, so that the waterproof function is maintained.

Claims (16)

1. An electronic device, comprising:
the shell is provided with an opening between a first side face and a second side face which are parallel to each other, the opening is provided with a first side edge and a second side edge which are opposite to each other, and the first side edge and the second side edge are obliquely arranged between the first side face and the second side face; and
an electronic component, set up in this shell, and this electronic component includes:
a body;
the connecting part is arranged at one side of the body; and
a waterproof ring, comprising:
the outer ring piece is a complete closed ring and is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part in a surrounding manner;
the inner ring piece is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part and is closer to the body than the outer ring piece; and
the two stop pieces are respectively connected with the outer ring piece and the inner ring piece;
when the connecting part correspondingly penetrates through the opening, one side of the outer ring piece is closely connected with the first side face, one side of the inner ring piece is closely connected with the second side face, one blocking piece is correspondingly positioned at the first side face, and the other blocking piece is correspondingly positioned at the second side face.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the other side of the outer ring member opposite to the first side protrudes from the opening.
3. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the inner ring member has a notch portion, the notch portion opening toward the top end of the body.
4. The electronic device of claim 3, wherein the two stoppers are adjacent to the notch.
5. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein when the connecting portion is correspondingly inserted into the opening, the two blocking members are respectively located in the first side and the second side and cover the outer ring.
6. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the connecting portion has a first surface and a second surface, and the two stopping members are respectively disposed at two opposite ends and are located within a distance range of 2/3 of a distance from the first surface to the second surface.
7. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the outer ring member and the inner ring member are disposed at a distance therebetween.
8. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the two stop members extend parallel to the axial direction of the outer ring member and the inner ring member and connect the outer ring member and the inner ring member.
9. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the two stopping members extend in a direction inclined to the axis of the outer ring member and the inner ring member and connect the outer ring member and the inner ring member.
10. An electronic assembly, comprising:
a body;
the connecting part is arranged at one side of the body; and
a waterproof ring, comprising:
the outer ring piece is a complete closed ring and is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part in a surrounding manner;
the inner ring piece is arranged on the outer surface of the connecting part and is closer to the body than the outer ring piece; and
the two stop pieces are respectively connected with the outer ring piece and the inner ring piece;
wherein, the two stopping pieces are respectively positioned at two opposite ends.
11. The electronic assembly of claim 10, wherein the inner ring member has a notch portion open toward the top end of the body.
12. The electronic assembly of claim 11, wherein the two stops are adjacent to the notch.
13. The electronic assembly of claim 10, wherein the connecting portion has a first surface and a second surface, and the two stopping members are respectively disposed at two opposite ends and are located within a distance range of 2/3 of a distance from the first surface to the second surface.
14. The electronic assembly of claim 10, wherein the outer ring member and the inner ring member are disposed at a spacing therebetween.
15. The electronic assembly of claim 10, wherein the two stop members extend parallel to the axial direction of the outer ring member and the inner ring member and connect the outer ring member and the inner ring member.
16. The electronic assembly of claim 10, wherein the two stop members extend in a direction oblique to the axes of the outer ring member and the inner ring member and connect the outer ring member and the inner ring member.
