Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by one of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments herein without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.
Fig. 1 shows a method for implementing a 3D virtual book according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method is applied to a server, and the method includes:
s101, acquiring information of books to be manufactured;
step S102, receiving an instruction from a client;
and step S103, a 3D virtual book template and information which are created in advance and correspond to the book to be manufactured are sent to the client according to the instruction.
Wherein the information includes: basic information of books to be manufactured and electronic books, wherein the basic information comprises at least one of the following items: the method comprises the steps that a name of a book to be manufactured, an author introduction of the book to be manufactured, a publisher of the book to be manufactured, and a cover picture of the book to be manufactured, a 3D virtual book template is generated by 3D modeling software, the book size of the 3D virtual book template is the same as that of the book to be manufactured, and the 3D virtual book template comprises at least one item of information of the 3D virtual book: 3D page-turning animation, book size (book opening), paper material, paper color.
In one possible implementation manner, after obtaining the information of the book to be made, the method further includes: generating book IDs corresponding to books to be manufactured according to the basic information; sending the book ID to a client; correspondingly, receiving the instruction from the client comprises: and receiving an instruction for the book ID from the client, wherein the instruction comprises clicking the book ID.
It should be noted that, first, a 3D modeling engineer may create a plurality of 3D virtual book templates using 3D modeling software according to the currently mainstream book specification. The 3D virtual book template format can adopt GLB, FBX and other general 3D model formats. Templates are uploaded to the CDN (Content Delivery Network ) and corresponding URLs (Uniform Resource Locator, uniform resource locators) are generated. Secondly, book raw materials, namely the information (the information comprises basic information of books to be manufactured and the electronic books) are prepared, wherein the raw materials comprise high-definition covers, the electronic books, book names, author profiles, publishing houses and the like. The e-book format prefers PDF (Portable Document Format ), if other formats are selected such as: EPUB, HTML format, attention is paid to details such as typesetting mode. Then, a 3D virtual book template can be selected on a WEB (World Wide WEB) management background, a high-definition cover is uploaded, an electronic book is uploaded, and other parameters (such as book names, author introduction, publishers and the like, which can be used for searching and displaying at a business side) are set, so that basic data can be provided for the subsequent generation of the 3D virtual book (EXCEL batch generation can be imported or interface generation can be directly invoked). The electronic book can be converted into a plurality of book content pictures on a back-end service or directly stored into a typeset PDF format electronic book. In addition, a unique 3D book ID may also be introduced or generated. Thus, the server can pre-create the 3D virtual book template to reduce the engineering amount in the 3D virtual book modeling process. And the setting of the book ID can facilitate the searching and retrieving of the books.
Fig. 2 shows a method for implementing a 3D virtual book according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method is applied to a client, and the method includes:
step S201, receiving an instruction input by a user and sending the instruction to a server;
step S202, receiving a 3D virtual book template corresponding to a book to be manufactured and information of the book to be manufactured from a server;
and step S203, generating partial virtual pages of the 3D virtual book corresponding to the book to be manufactured according to the 3D virtual book template and the information.
In step S201, before receiving the instruction input by the user and sending the instruction to the server, the method further includes: receiving information of books to be made input by a user, wherein the information comprises: basic information of books to be manufactured and electronic books; the information is forwarded to the server.
It should be noted that, first, a 3D modeling engineer may create a plurality of 3D virtual book templates using 3D modeling software according to the currently mainstream book specification. The 3D virtual book template format can adopt GLB, FBX and other general 3D model formats. The templates are uploaded to the CDN to generate corresponding URLs. Secondly, book raw materials, namely the information (the information comprises basic information of books to be manufactured and the electronic books) are prepared, wherein the raw materials comprise high-definition covers, the electronic books, book names, author profiles, publishing houses and the like. The e-book format prefers PDF if other formats are selected such as: EPUB, HTML format, attention is paid to details such as typesetting mode. And then, selecting a 3D virtual book template on a WEB management background, uploading a high-definition cover, uploading an electronic book and setting other parameters (such as book names, author introduction, publishing houses and the like, which can be used for searching and displaying at a business side) so as to provide basic data for the subsequent generation of the 3D virtual book (also can be imported into EXCEL batch generation or directly call interface generation).
In one possible implementation, the 3D virtual book template includes a book cover model and at least one book page model mounted under the book cover model as child nodes.
Step 203, generating partial virtual pages of the 3D virtual book corresponding to the book to be manufactured according to the 3D virtual book template and the information includes:
taking the cover picture as a material of a book cover model, attaching the cover picture to the book cover model, and determining the cover picture as a virtual cover; taking a first preset number of pages of the electronic book as materials of book page models, attaching the pages to at least one book page model according to the sequence of the pages, and determining the pages as partial virtual pages; and the pages of part of virtual pages are of a first preset number, and part of virtual pages are generated according to the pages of the first preset number of pages of the electronic book.
Wherein the virtual cover includes at least one of the following information: name of book to be made, brief introduction of author of book to be made, publishing company of book to be made, and cover picture of book to be made.
It should be noted that the 3D virtual book template includes two parts of a book cover model and at least one book page model, the book cover picture can be used as a material to be attached to the book cover model, n (for example, 15, 21, n can be integer multiple of 3 to facilitate algorithm loading) book page models can be created to be used as child nodes to be mounted under the book cover model, and book content pictures are used as materials to be attached to each book page model in sequence, wherein a page is attached to each of the left and right sides of each book page model.
In one possible implementation manner, after generating the partial virtual pages of the 3D virtual book corresponding to the book to be manufactured according to the 3D virtual book template and the information in step S203, the method further includes: displaying part of the virtual page; receiving a page turning instruction of a user aiming at a current page, wherein the current page is any page in the virtual pages; executing page turning operation according to the page turning instruction; and under the condition of executing the page turning operation, playing a preset key animation frame corresponding to the current page and page turning sound corresponding to the current page.
In one possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 3, in a case of receiving a page turning instruction of a user for a current page, the method further includes:
step S301, judging whether the number of the turned pages reaches a critical value;
step S302, if the critical value is reached, an instruction is sent to a server;
step S303, receiving pages of a second preset number of pages of the electronic book sent by the server;
step S304, taking the second preset number of pages as new materials, and sequentially attaching the second preset number of pages to a book page model attached with the earliest turned page in the turned pages according to the sequence of the pages so as to replace the earliest turned page;
the first preset number of pages is a first preset number, and the instruction is used for requesting the server for the first preset number of pages of the electronic book.
It should be noted that, when the client (for example, the WEB side or the application program side) requests 3D virtual book information of a book (which can be searched by a book ID) for the first time, the 3D book template URL, the template attribute, the book cover, the book content picture or a part of the PDF electronic book is returned by default (several pages can be returned according to the parameter configuration, which corresponds to the first preset number of pages of the returned electronic book). When the client requests later, only a part of the book content picture or the PDF electronic book (the default is a second preset number of pages next to the first preset number of pages of the electronic book, and the adjustment can be performed according to the actual requirement of the user, such as skip reading or forward page turning). The client may assemble a 3D virtual book using a 3D virtual book template, book cover, book content picture, or partial pages of a PDF e-book (converted to appropriate maps on a defined basis).
The 3D virtual book can support page turning reading, and as the book page model and the book cover model are both bound with skeleton animation (support page turning animation effect), and optionally, the book page model can not be clicked, the book cover model can be clicked, after the mouse clicks, whether left side or right side is clicked can be known by monitoring the clicking event of the book cover model, and the left side or right side book page model can play animation from a starting frame to an ending frame according to a preset book page turning algorithm. It should be noted that, in this application scenario, in order to conform to the reading habit of the user, when the user reads the 3D virtual book, the user clicks the right page when turning back the page, and clicks the left page when turning forward the page, but because the book page model is set up and can not be clicked, the clicking instruction "penetrates" through the book page model and reaches the book cover model, so as to realize the subsequent page turning, therefore, only one clicking event is set up to realize the page turning, and the workload can be reduced and the efficiency can be improved. In another implementation, however, a listening event may be set for each book page model, and a worker may flexibly set according to actual needs. In the page turning reading mode, after the corresponding plug-in is introduced, mainstream 3D engines such as Unity, UE, babylon. Js and the like can be supported. Because the 3D virtual book template consists of the book cover model and the book page model, infinite page turning can be realized as long as the plug-in realizes the book page turning algorithm, and the performance can be greatly improved, and a flow chart of the book page turning algorithm can be shown as shown in fig. 4.
In fig. 4, a left buffer pool and a right buffer pool may be set, where the left buffer pool is used to buffer the book page model corresponding to the turned pages, assuming that 15 book page models are preset, and the total of the electronic book has 100 pages, when the book is first read, 30 pages of books may be preloaded, and every two pages of books are loaded on one book page model, for example: page 1, page 2 is loaded on the first book page model, page 3, page 4 is loaded on the second book page model, and so on, page 29, page 30 is loaded on the 15 th book page model, when a user reads page 20, i.e. pages 21 (mounted on the 11 th book page model) are to be read, a client sends an instruction to a server to pre-load new pages for caching, and optionally, pages 40 to 50 can be loaded, and pages 10 are replaced by pages 1 to 10 (because the pages are the earliest to be read, the possibility of being turned back in a short time is small, at this time, pages 1 to 10 are still stored in the memory of the client for subsequent loading), i.e. pages 10 are used as new materials of pages 1 to 10, and pages 1 to 5 are added to the book page model. When the method is realized, the left and right caching pools can be utilized, namely, the 1 st book page model to the 5 th book page model on the left side are taken out and cached to the right caching pool, so that the electronic book from the 40 th page to the 50 th page can be conveniently loaded.
Therefore, the embodiment of the application provides a mode for loading the electronic book based on the 3D virtual book template, and the front end dynamically assembles and generates the 3D virtual book in real time, so that the method has the characteristics of low cost, rapidness and batch, is more suitable for scenes (for example, can be applied to virtual bookstores and virtual libraries in the metauniverse), and has standardization and universality. Compared with the pseudo 3D virtual book mode in the prior art, the method can provide more real 3D reading experience for users, and compared with the method which relies on 3D modeling engineers to create corresponding 3D virtual books for each book, the method is lower in cost, faster and more uniform in quality, can reduce dependence on manpower, and improves manufacturing accuracy.
